The Dark zone doesn’t seem very pvp oriented. Me and some friends went into the dark zone and everybody just wanted to be friends, we ended up walking around in a group of like 10 people doing landmarks and stuff
@@mortezahesamzadeh556 i don't think TD2 it's easier then TD1 and that the main base is not as attractive and the DZ is not as cool, but I wouldn't call the game "crap". This is a good and fun game. If you really feel like you wouldn't like to buy the next one for the full price, just wait for a sale, I got TD2 in the current sale, very happy about it, will be playing Warlords of New York very excited.

For anyone just joining the battle I am an unbiased new player. Just started a few weeks ago on series x and the base game blew me away. I’m even spending 40 bucks on this dlc despite the constant sales. It’s hands down the closest mmo type of game on console with the best thought out loot and gameplay loop I’ve seen. Is it perfect ? No, is it better than it’s competition ? Hell yes. I’m someone whose been a destiny player for years. This games underrated and needs attention, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A NEW CONSOLE WOW
It sounds like they're going all out with this expansion. I especially like that the DZs will be more PvP focused. I, personally, don't care for PvP content, but the whole idea of a DZ was to be a dedicated PvP area so I'm glad the PvP players will get that back.
Dark Zone was and is a combination. A PvPvE zone. That whole debacle about them locking higher loot in Dark Zone which made the community jump into an uproar... they should've stuck with their guns and held onto that choice in my opinion. This just seems to be a revisit back to that idea but it's dressed up nicely with so the added content 😂😂

Seems like the same thing most of these live service games end up doing. Hitting that refresh button making you level again new gear that really isn't different then what you've already had. I enjoyed what it was but I can't see this giving the game much longer legs. Especially considering how much of the system was built to waste time prior. Battle pass will help do just that but some people love this type of merry go round so have fun. Thanks for the breakdown

Original Ultimate and Gold edition > unaffected, the year 1 season pass will expire on 14 March. you get what every other person gets with the base game from this update. > if you own the ultimate edition and purchase the DLC, you essentially get everything from the DLC ultimate edition DLC Ultimate edition (not to be confused with the ultimate edition that came out when D2 first released); > everything the original ultimate edition gets + DLC + additional apparel, weapons/armor + first Y2 season access + access to all specializations immediately + level 30 boost and apparel (basically you get everything minus the pre-order bonuses from the initial D2 release) DLC alone > DLC + first Y2 season access + (if pre-ordered) level 30 boost and apparel There's currently no Y2 season pass, so we're stuck fishing out more money for everything. I'm enjoying the weapon and gear changes as well as the drop changes. I'm using the exotic holster now for the 100 pistol stacks along with the exotic d50. Even the armor healing is cool for the pistol

OMG maybe we can actually matchmake with other players other than just the daily missions. There better be truly better drops in legendary difficulty. Matchmaking heroic right now is impossible.
the true Star they tried to do a completely different take on the game is was new territory for them they tried and sure it wasn’t the best but they are making up for it now I had patience and some people just didn’t I guess and I still enjoyed the time I put into year 1 anyways
I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the video and I just missed it, but is the whole SHD level/paragon-type system they're implementing something that will be available to ALL players or just people who get the expansion? Sorry if this is an obvious question, I'm just a fairly new player (bought it while it was on the $3 sale) though I played Division 1 back when it originally released. I'm just not sure exactly how the devs handle updates and expansions; like how some games hide various mechanics and new systems behind the expansion pass paywall, or if there are some things that are accessible to all players, regardless of if they have the expansion or not.

I put in around 80 hours at launch. Got back into it randomly a week ago and have been absolutely addicted to all the new existing content like the Pentagon, Zoo, Kenly College, Camp, the classified assignments, etc. I've put in like 20 hours in one week. So much content to bite into (new technician specialization is my new go to) *I can't put it down then I find out there's an expansion coming.*
My question is can you still only change one thing on gear? With the reduced loot drop people have been saying in other videos. Only being able to recalibrate one thing on is gonna make the grinding even longer and more tedious...

Everything will be upgradable to level 40 except exotics. But they already said that a green peace of gear in dlc will be much better than any god rolled gear you have now. Also with the new bank system you can save recals for other gear. So probably better just to grind again and save recources for when they let us upgrade exotics. So keep your exotics and trash everything else.
I doubt this will attract new players, it may bring a few of the old ones back for a couple weeks, those willing to pay for the expansion that is, I will give it a go, but I reckon I will be back playing the first game within in month
Before this new DLC, most of the playered I encountered in Dark Zone on PC were aimbotters. Considering how many were running around I had assumed they were done with this game as I entered it late as I got the base game from a Humble Bundle.

I'm about level 24 now, but I haven't played since launch and am way rusty/forgotten a lot. With all of these changes to loot and the overall RPG experience, would I be better off finishing up my character before the update hits or should I just wait and start over post-update?
if you ignore the bugs and stuff the leveling would be worth the current price plus there is gonna be a free weekend in the next day or so and you can try it out
God yes. Even if all you do is get through the campaign and level yourself to the cap, and ignore all the endgame grinding for loot, you're still looking at like 70+ hours. It's just a fun, dumb, comfy game. Shooting feels amazing, it looks amazing, DC is very well realized. It's not like some artistic achievement and tbh I started skipping cutscenes at a certain point, but idk why people trash on it. It's a fun shooter that feels and looks great. People are spoiled af.
I kinda got bored with the game really fast so I'm only level 10 but with the changes they made and what the expansion brings I'm getting back to it. Bought the expansion last night but I don't know if I'll make a new lvl 30 character or just play through the original campaign and with my old character to get to 30.
There are a lot of people that don't like division 2, stating that the original was still better. Though I have not played the first one, as a MMO looter shooter, I think this game is pretty good. The loot grind is not that bad, usually at the end of a tier 4 control point you get some pretty beefy gear. I also found it that its not too grindy also to get the build you want. Can't wait for the perk extraction, going to cut the time in half for building that perfect build. Not a big fan of turning the dark zone to more PVP, I only did the dark zone briefly, but every-time I got ganked by some cum stained neckbeard that played this game 8 hours a day. Also to note the expansion is on sale for only 20 bucks, that is a lot of content for that price.
Guys I have a question that may probably sound dumb. I was gonna preorder the D2 expansion but then I got an option to "take it online". I'm not currently subscribed to ps plus so I was wondering whether I could simply subscribe and get it for free or is there more to it than meets the eye.
Haven't played since launch but did they ever buff the skills? Late game I felt like a lot of them were pretty worthless against the tougher enemies and skill builds weren't really viable.
back when i was so bored waiting iceborne for coming to PC, i started to play div2, enjoyed it, only last for 2,5 month though, before all of my friends are either busy so they can't play with me or playing something else.. right now i kinda addicted to Wolcen (since i'm bit bored with iceborne and gonna wait for safijiva), yes its a lot of bugs, but i havent encountered any of the bugs that makes me want to uninstalling the game

I'm about level 24 now, but I haven't played since launch and am way rusty/forgotten a lot. With all of these changes to loot and the overall RPG experience, would I be better off finishing up my character before the update hits or should I just wait and start over post-update?

Stopped playing shortly after raid. Glad they are finally adding months of continuous content. So excited I bought dlc for console and pc.

God yes. Even if all you do is get through the campaign and level yourself to the cap, and ignore all the endgame grinding for loot, you're still looking at like 70+ hours. It's just a fun, dumb, comfy game. Shooting feels amazing, it looks amazing, DC is very well realized. It's not like some artistic achievement and tbh I started skipping cutscenes at a certain point, but idk why people trash on it. It's a fun shooter that feels and looks great. People are spoiled af.

So if you can’t go back to dc once you’ve gone to New York does that mean no dark zone until you’ve finished the dlc?
I kinda got bored with the game really fast so I'm only level 10 but with the changes they made and what the expansion brings I'm getting back to it. Bought the expansion last night but I don't know if I'll make a new lvl 30 character or just play through the original campaign and with my old character to get to 30.
Old skills like the seeker mined arent being removed are they?, cause the skill tab does not show the drone and seeker mines
There are a lot of people that don't like division 2, stating that the original was still better. Though I have not played the first one, as a MMO looter shooter, I think this game is pretty good. The loot grind is not that bad, usually at the end of a tier 4 control point you get some pretty beefy gear. I also found it that its not too grindy also to get the build you want. Can't wait for the perk extraction, going to cut the time in half for building that perfect build.
Not a big fan of turning the dark zone to more PVP, I only did the dark zone briefly, but every-time I got ganked by some cum stained neckbeard that played this game 8 hours a day.
Also to note the expansion is on sale for only 20 bucks, that is a lot of content for that price.
Does anyone know if buying the expansion actually makes you stronger while in dz? Or does it scale even if your in the lvl 30 gear?
Guys I have a question that may probably sound dumb. I was gonna preorder the D2 expansion but then I got an option to "take it online". I'm not currently subscribed to ps plus so I was wondering whether I could simply subscribe and get it for free or is there more to it than meets the eye.
It's an online game so you need PS plus to play online.
Can't play it without being online. Subscribing wont get you the game at all just PS Plus.

Haven't played since launch but did they ever buff the skills? Late game I felt like a lot of them were pretty worthless against the tougher enemies and skill builds weren't really viable.

back when i was so bored waiting iceborne for coming to PC, i started to play div2, enjoyed it, only last for 2,5 month though, before all of my friends are either busy so they can't play with me or playing something else.. right now i kinda addicted to Wolcen (since i'm bit bored with iceborne and gonna wait for safijiva), yes its a lot of bugs, but i havent encountered any of the bugs that makes me want to uninstalling the game
