@@ahmadyousif7177 it's probably just visual, like when driving a car if you look to the front it doesn't seems to go too fast but if you look at trees to the side it will look like you're going much faster
@@ahmadyousif7177 It's just visual. You look like you're going faster because the camera's view is wider and therefore slightly stretched. It's similar to what's known as the Starfield Illusion.
Very true, it all depends on hardware which is personal and differs for each person. But yes everyone should make some adjustments to get the best out of the game. However if you adjust to the limits then you will become and look like an Olympic sprinter running with an 80lb kit ! Sometimes it spoils immersion, and also be wary of the fish eyed look when adjusting field of view. It will always be a mix of settings that increases game playability but looks “normal” and creates a sense of immersion.
Best change of setting for me was disabling the animation when you switch to your special weapon. Saves just a little time when you're in a fight and need to use it without all the fancy switching 😋
You forgot "turn off vibration" on controller for console player's. One of the best things you can do. Feels strange at first, but it really improves your aim.
I have it turned off because the vibrations make it difficult to aim and with the nerve damage in my hand its hard enough to play the game without the vibrations let alone with it
Recently came back to Div 2 , also a Div 1 player. Of these tips i had 6 of 11 and i agreed with most of your recommendations. I liked you commentary - clear - concise - and the screen was clear about where the various options were and why in your opinion someone might consider this change. Very well delivered, much appreciated.
0:40 I mean, well, he has like 80 pounds worth of gear on him, I don't expect him to be racing Usain Bolt. I get what you mean though makes the game feel quicker, less generally boring feeling.
NothingButSkillz I watch a ton of your info about the Division & Division 2, love how you explain and show everything for us players that don't have alot or as much time to play. Without a doubt your videos make me a better player. Appreciate what you do..✌🏻
i bought the warlords of new york dlc i forgot how much i love this game the excitement when you grind for something and get it it's amazing i also got the go bag when i was getting chest for my chatter box which was epic
Thanks for this. I'm usually very picky about going through every damn setting in options, in every game, but I didn't for this game for some reason. Some of these are pretty important. Just started playing this game today.
Speaking of settings. I always wanted one of you guys to do play throughs with absolutely no HUD. I started doing that in D1, and have never had it on for D2. O It definitely adds a challenge as well as makes communication and build diversity in group play a must. You should try it out and do a vid on it sometime
@NothingButSkillz; bro, I'm a player on PS4 Pro, and these changes really improved my gameplay experience. Keep the awesome videos coming, bro. I'll be watching. 😁👍
Not sure if its good for everybody, but I like holding X(on PS4) to enter cover. useful for those times you just want to dive out of the way but accidentally go into cover. I got use to it pretty fast.
@@NothingButSkillz Also remember that skill where you would do a cover to cover in division one and receive a heal? That was super nice. I think it was a skill on knee pads i can't recall right now. I still do this to this day.
I’ve made of couple these changes. Mainly the aim sensitivity and the movement around corners. The auto sprint, I’m going to try. But I don’t spend a bunch of time sprinting. I’ll see how it works.
Think this video was great. Some of the settings the majority consensus would be 'need to change', but I think this video does a great job at making one aware of each of these settings. So don't necessarily take it verbatim. Really only one I found to disagree with and it was toggle-to-sprint: 2:14 - Subjective really. Not a 'Must change'. On PC, toggle to sprint gets dicey if you are doing a lot of stop-and-go. Since you've got your pinky on shift anyways, sprinting is far more responsive in hold-to-sprint. the only caveat would be if you were running marathons.. but even then, I wonder if auto run would be a better solution. I don't seem to sprint with auto-run, so I'm not sure if those two settings play into each other. 3:18 - If you like the concept of parkour mode, keep in mind that you can have the same satisfaction by holding down your vault button as you approach obstacles and your character will seamlessly vault.
For me, the only default settings I needed to change was the sensitivity, FOV and FOVWA. All the other settings are default to what you advise. Thanks for the info.
I know this video is old but thank you a lot man even the enemy look more bigger I can see better and it looks nice and wide I can see the enemies on the side thanks again man
I really appreciate this because I had these all set but if I'm not mistaken they get reset after updates. Since coming back I've noticed many of the issues you brought up such sticking to cover, slow running, and poor FOV. A quick edit. After playing for 5 minutes with the proper settings it's like a new game. Thank you so much.🙏
I just got back into playing after being away for a while and this video really helped with some of the new features that are in the game. Thank's for the information and for keeping us updated on what's happening with the game. ✊🙂👍
One of the best is turning off sticky cover when you combat role.....can’t count the times I’ve been killed because I was evading and got stuck to cover, especially in tight spaces. Turned it off and I’m sooooo much happier
Vision field of view Tip is great, Ty Think the devs have that set to zero to save peeps some fps : drops a bit Nothing game breaking even for lower hardware 🇵🇹
Thanks a lot I actually hate what you look for and love how it is the exact contrary. Thanks for explaining how not to do things :) Also hate the head ache speed ... it's utter trash stressful. The best is slow paced. Same for the whole rest of things toggle must stay no. it must ask you to press it all the time. Anyway Props to you. you are one of the few that took a look at a part of settings. Cons is that you haven't gone throughall of them. This is a very negative thing in games. nobody takes care of settings but it is a must to do it to actually give value to players.. Today nobody cares of players, just care of one own self and not even of the community. Anyway thanks for this I now know what I want even if this is the opposite to what you like to play with.
One setting you didn't touch on but I see you have enabled is the 180 turn and run on left stick press while holding down. I think it was default in division 1, but I literally just realized they had it the other day as a setting in 2. I based a lot of tactical gameplay off it in division one and it seems to work almost as good in 2, or I've gotten a little rusty with it lol (ie quick turn and then hold the aim button almost simultaneously and you get a stupid fast switch to aiming behind you, or combine with cover or parkour and you can quickly wind up in a different area of cover) I used to have one of the elite paddles set to run so I could switch off with it quickly, but cant for the life of me remember how it all felt seamless anymore. Lol All great tips as always, man!
I disagree with the cancel skill toss settings bc if ur on playstation you can jus press the O button to cancel instead but overall great video i do like the in depth detail... It will certainly help my dad with the game
The last tip on settings was the only one I didn't know about. This is the reason I watch these type of videos, you never know what new things you may find out even after almost 1 year of playing this game.
This was a great video. I actually found them quite useful in some of the cases where I play. Question: What gear or whatever though is it when your ammo type switches up whenever you reload? Now, this is NOT Consumable Ammunition I'm referring to. I know what that is. I've changed gear and weapons and never knew what that was. The ammo would witch between tear gas, fire and explosion. There was NO cooldown period. As a matter of fact, if I didn't like what the ammo was, without shooting, I could simply reload and the ammo would change. Being somewhat new I didn't realize what I had. Any help with this would be fantastic! Because it was extremely helpful in so many scenarios!!! Thanks!!!!
The toggle to run is a big help, my older mech keyboard's shift died due to an old game not having that option, switch gave way after a year. Saves constantly holding it down.
I made these changes a few days ago and my sniping in PVE was vastly improved. I cannot wait to see how well these work with the Expansion and what my gameplay will look like when I create another character.
@@rickoqc Hardcore mode. I want to give it another attempt. That and I need to level up my exotics I got at launch and need a below level 500/515 gear level character to do it.
Pulling out the FOV has trade-offs, FYI. It makes the enemies you're aiming at smaller on your screen, so landing headshots might prove more difficult.
For PC users, I recommend using a mouse with real-time adjustable sensitivity. My mouse has a button below the scroll wheel that allows me to adjust sensitivity on the fly. I use high sensitivity when I'm roaming in the world, looking for shit to get into, but then I can turn it way down for when I'm sniping or need better aim. 😉👍
i would recommend the setting to allow dodge roll by double tapping a direction much faster and less pain then double tapping cover button nothing more frustrating than get sucked into cover instead of rolling and getting shalacked by a sledgehammer
Still looking for "push to talk" in on PS4. it is NOT in VOIP anymore. there is mic on/off, threshold, and mic boost. Over in "accessibility" the closest to PTT i can see is "voice recognition" option that has either talking, or push a button to talk(which doesnt have an option to choose PPT button assignment). is that the PTT option, or is that for the voice to text/text to voice thing since everything else in this menu is for those who have hearing or visual difficulties? sometimes my gaming headset is charging (it has a button for the mic control itself) so i use regular earbuds sometimes. and id love to save players from my mumbles throughout gameplay lol

The mouse sensitivity settings are personal preference and hardware dependant. No two mice are the same, and not everyone can handle high sensitivity.
Virtually all of this is personal preference. But, then, that's what most settings are for.
