    after 5 years its still the most impactfull video in my life, this video back then made the way i live 180°
    i started practicing kung fu as i got more into this channel, and began to be obsessed
    you guys, the whole martial club crew inspired me to never give up and always train with no excuses
    Im really thankful that i discovered yall back then, i was a twig and a nobody
    now i am a bulky tank benching 150kg, doing all kinds of flying kicks and flips and splits, still a nobody tho xD
    but that doesnt matter, the fact that i got this far was all thanks to you guys
    I love Martial club, please keep going, no excuses

    It's make me laugh when I see the comments like "He wouldn't last in a real fight", and "Put him in an MMA Octagon". This has nothing to do with real combat. It is Gymnastics Exhibition derived from Martial Arts. It is completely separate and should be enjoyed as the "Wow" factor. This guy has talent. Whether he can really fight or not is irrelevant.

    • @sjoerdboogert9896

    • @elvisjimpa100
      @elvisjimpa100 6 лет назад +151

      It has all to do with real combat and he combines wushu,tae kwon do and capoiera perfectly.The difference is that this guy masters everything and its no question he can fight.He is extremely good and a true master in his own way and its an insult to even compare him to mma and ufc.

    • @paulpolpiboon9535
      @paulpolpiboon9535 6 лет назад +65

      Sure the "Wow Factor" is served here, PLUS his athletic level already qualifies him as strong and fit for combat. Regardless of combat skill his physical endurance, agility and strength to perform those maneuvers already puts him automatically on the field as a formidable opponent to tangle with one on one. Example Michael Jordan (in his prime) or the greatest balay man on earth can both do extremely well in a fight just by the very condition of their body alone.
      As for his moves+techniques displayed here working in actual combat practicality....he would have to train in applying these strikes and maneuvers in intense sparring. If he doesn't practice them against moving opponents and padded foes trying to tag him then yes he would never do well in a fight, of course. But if he DID train these exact moves for fighting opponents then he would most likely destroy. You and I don't know if he has trained for it or not. So no one here can say if he'll do well in a fight, we just don't know if he has indeed trained these maneuvers for it's intended purposes of combat that they were originally made for. And these maneuvers and katas btw? They were originally conceived in the ancient Orient specifically for WAR by elite humans....not for show or "wow factor".
      For THEM the only wow factor was the decimation of their enemy and total domination ....pure VICTORY.

    • @MarkStephensJr
      @MarkStephensJr 3 года назад

      I do parkour/free running. The grunting seems weird but is normal. It helps you to tighten your muscles to have more control and power used with them to do what you need to do. I used to laugh at it until someone got me to try it out.. 😅 you can feel your adrenaline an such kick in rather quickly when you do the stupid grunting because for the most part it's make your core muscles flex tight forcing a adrenaline rush. And we all know adrenaline adds strength to your muscles power.

    Andy, what does it feel like when you are in the air flipping around in what seems like slow motion and it seems like you have control over gravity? I was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular condition when I was 9 years old and treated like a liability my whole life, I get dizzy and weak just doing a simple dance move.
    I live vicariously through you
