Palm royale was visually stunning. Actors are great but, I feel like there was a lot of filler that we didn’t need… and that finally, if you can call it one, was underwhelming at most. 5/10
This show had all the elements to be everything I need. However that isn't happening. It's far too serious. The plot is weak and the motivations of the characters are all over the place. Carol Burnett is underused and Ricky Martin is either not so good an actor or the role is just written to be boring and unoffensive. Laura Dern as producer is gobbling up too much screen time to have "special" moments with her father Bruce Dern. I struggled through the sixth episode and may call it quits now.
This has better get a second season, it’s giving me everything I need from a show ❤️

I love this series!!! True it's like a candy store for the eyes...I've watched each episode several times just to see the sets and the clothes...
From the first frame I said to myself this is like walking into a Slim Aarons photograph! It is SUBLIME!!!!!! Season 2 please!
