@D0nATr0n Yup, in Avengers Assemble - didn't think about it when I wrote my comment, but it makes sense that he has some left-over Thor badassery in him ;)
No way...wait! They started DnD because it was his birthday wish? Am I understanding that correctly? I just befriended my husband's friends by having them come to play for my birthday!
@@littlemizredhead Yep I think Liam talks about in between the sheets He and Sam talked about playing D&D for AWNP, and Liam was working with Matt on a VO job and asked him to DM They played at home at first, pitched it to Geek and Sundry, and eventually got to this
@@WiseSageBum Actually, Geek and Sundry pitched them xD Apparently, they talked so much about their game of D&D that basically everyone in the industry knew about it and then Felicia Day had the idea of streaming it on her company's platform and asked Matt about it.
It's so funny to me that Sam is that dude who will bawl his eyes out because the final fight against Vecna forced his hand to use a spell slot he was saving to wish for Vax's life, and he's also the same dude to make sure a skeleton in Vax-like robes is brought up on stage and pupeteered for a couple secs so everyone can have a laugh.
It's hammy and playing the crowd up for/with the jokes, jabs and roasts. imo unnecessary and inappropriate for a D&D sess. But this isn't just a D&D session, its CR and a group of friends being friends with friends. Can't watch CR just for one aspect, gotta commit to the bit and take in the whole package.
@@arwo1143 which you can tell later when they talk to Gilmore and he gets choked up saying "We Tried" yes the character have become a part of the person at this point after all these years but they are all still phenomenal actors
It’s clear in the final episode that Sam is truly choked up out of character for not being able to save his best friends character. I think the skeleton is just his way of coping.
The dice gods know for whom the click clack rolls. I found any time I give characters a certain last name, they will inevitably have fantastic luck in the most dire of circumstances, and only in those moments.
I know it's difficult to know the intent of one's written speech and often times can be misinterpreted, but I had hoped to convey sarcasm. I was being sarcastic, people.
I was kinda disappointed. In my head it was like: Pike to unconscious Grog: Do. Not. Move. Turns around, lets go of Grog to get help, Grog falls back down on the floor. I told you not to move!
Fun thing is... when you look at Travis' interview with Brian, he talks about the first time he was asked to play DnD, and he turned down the offer because of.. whatever, he felt it was "nerdy". Then he gave it a shot. Now look at him as his Grog rolled his 20's. He was having the time of his LIFE there. Goes to show you should always give something a try before judging it. You just need to be lucky and find others who already enjoy what is being done.
261 damage round. The first two shots Tal pointed out he had explicitly not included his Dex bonus with those damages when Matt explained during the Crit that he still gets it, but included it afterwards and on that one.
Bertrand Bell. Not Fjord. Fjord is a gleem in his fathers eye on a whole other plane of existance and conteinant from where vox machina call home. Season 2 is 25ish years latter.
@@the_tactician9858reminds me of one of the behind the scenes things where they talked about how Percy and Keyleth would never have an affair, but Vex would totally try to set up a 3-way
Those nat 20s for Grog tho, it's like the dice decided: "Yeah let's make this as awesome as possible". You couldn't write a better ending to that fight.
Liam really knows how to salt the wounds doesn't he? "Stay close to me." -Lieve'tiel "Do not go far from me." -Vax'ildan... Thanks Liam. I didn't need my heart anyways.
But as a DM giving the kill to Grog is so narativly satisfying... I think he's fine :) I mean, sure, having Bertrand killing him would have been fun I guess too... just not the same ^^.
Taliesin’s memory and intelligence is impressive. 4,000 years and at least 3-5 different calendar systems later, but he still knows when his birthday is!
Did you EVER, in your wildest dreams, imagine a DUNGEON MASTER getting such a rock-star welcome?! Because I never did. Nor a D&D party. What a world we live in!
That's because Matthew Mercer is not just a DM, but one of the best DMs to grace this world. He is also an excellent actor with amazing range, a great world builder and storyteller, and just a swell human being on top of that. DMs in general are a dime a dozen. It doesn't take that much to run a DnD game. But a DM who ticks all the aforementioned boxes? There is only the one. And he deserves all that applause.
Did you ever imagine a packed theatre full of people fucking screaming and cheering at a double nat 20 to kill an Empyrion? This might not be the best timeline, but I've gotta imagine it's top 10% at least
Informing Gilmore about Vax is a closure I have been wanting for millennia. I like to think that as Pike has Grog and Scanlan... Vex, Gilmore and Keyleth have a trio group where they just sit and have tea sometimes, or just mental days together to mourn or reminisce.
I would think it would go like this, in pandemonium everything can hear him shout that wonderful phrase, but for the other planes, one of if not all the gods that are interested in Grog make it possible for anyone to hear "I WOULD LIKE TO RAGE!!!". The reason why I think it would go like this is because Grog has a good amount of gods who are interested in trying to make him their champion, so making it to were his voice is heard throughout the planes by allies and enemies alike would surely help him pick a god to be a champion of. That's just how I think it would go off of what you wanted.
@@Sistertotherain9 Same, he is my favorite aswell... I've already started rewatching c1 because I just recently got a friend into it, and it hurts even more now. But that's not to say that I don't absolutely adore the new characters. They're so fantastic! But Vox Machina will always have a very special place in my heart.
@@magiv4205 I just found this in March and I haven't made it to the new campaign yet. I woke up early this afternoon to watch 115, and now I'm looking for every scrap of Campaign 1 before I move on.
Nin Brannon - Enjoy the scraps while you can. I love the new campaign but C1 will always be my favorite. I’m beyond excited for the briarwood arc to be animated!!
I love how Matt's LITERALLY the most famous and possibly most loved DM in the history of the game... and he's still just like a little kid opening presents on Christmas when people show him love. Can't buy that... so amazing!
gotta say; considering that skill, that talent, that fame, those friends, and that wife...if he showed anything BUT humility, people would probably hate him. :P
Matt is good yeah, love him, but the most loved and famous? Guess you havent really played DND all that long, there have been many before streams like this. Hes great dont get me wrong, love him sure, but the most famous and love in the history of DND? Yeah, top 10 for sure. But Gary Gygax and the people who made this game, Matt Colville, I mean I could list several others who are just as good or better. The most famous and loved in the social media age? In the last few years? Sure Id agree. But the history of the game?
@@tangoxrayniner5659 To each his own. I'll refrain from making guesses about your history, since I've known you all of a few sentences... You prefer other people for the title? That's fair. I've seen, and do follow other streams. I simply share my opinions. Thanks for denigrating me and my thoughts. Hope it helps your day go better :)
I've always had mixed feelings about live audience shows of Critical Role....but Grog's turn is quite possibly the greatest 4-5 minutes of Critical Role I've ever seen.
Yeah I was there in the audience and I felt vaguely annoyed at times (you can't hear it but people said "Awww" LITERALLY EVERY FUCKING TIME PIKE TALKED. I'M NOT KIDDING.) But the last turn had both me and my brother on our feet cheering. Was amazing.
@@vishaansingh1019 I mean, i also feel an internal "awww" 72% of the time Pike speaks. Ashley just makes her so adorable. But i get it, can get annoying in a crowd.
@George Gebhard He could literally end the universe. There's no more unresponsible thing to do in the history of unresponsible things that have been done, will be done or can be done. Its also totally on brand for Grog.
yes and cause he formulated the other wishes wrong he only gained the fame of being an expert planar adventurer and having supposedly slain mighty beast of north and west
@@milkteawaygalaxy877 The original One Shot, for Liam's birthday was 4E so yes D&D. Though Pathfinder is affectionately known as 3.75 since it's essentially a slightly tweaked 3rd Edition. The thing that makes it most impressive was he intended to play the most garbage race and class they could throw at him. And he's weaved that into gold.
Taliesin: "I've not been doing the DEX modifier for Bad News." Matt: *(has to reboot his goddamn brain as he realizes Percy has probably done enough uncounted total damage over the campaign to kill another Vecna)*
He never attacked Vecna with Bad News, because they knew he can not be hitting unless it's a magical weapon, and Bad News is not. He attacked with Animus, which is enchanted
There's no bigger Critter than Travis himself. He's one of us and just happens to be at the table, always ready to be the hype man for the others whenever they need one.
The raw anger of a level 20 grieving force of nature on full display. She played that aspect of her perfectly. She was just DONE at this point. DONE with everything. We've only seen brief moments of her anger in the campaign, but... this was actually very cathartic for her along with her moment with Gilmore.
Big facts. Possibly the most poetic back to back dice roll I've ever seen. I want to play DnD so bad, and it's because of these guys. They're just chillin', solvin' puzzles, fuckin' around, and having fun. I wish I had a DM in my life. I tried to build a small campaign, but I realized that I'd rather play a character, than play a narrator... For now.
Grog gets the final moment with the HDYWTDT after double critting, but can we just appreciate Percy's 250 damage turn to set up this ending? I mean... that's a shit-ton of damage, but Grog's 154 double crit gets the glory in the end
"Rumors speak that atop this very crag, there's a space where words that are shouted against the wind can be heard by whoever the intended recipient is, no matter where they are on the planes." (53:02) Oh man, how did they miss that opportunity? "Hey Vax. I know you just left, but we miss you already." "Hello, mom? It's me, Keyleth. I haven't given up on finding you." "Vecna! Just thought we'd check in and ask how you're doing. ... Sorry, can't hear you, you'll need to speak a little louder." "Dear brother, I don't know what's involved in being the Champion of the Raven Queen, but if you can spare them, you did promise to leave me those boots."
Yeah another roleplay podcast The Adventure Zone has moved onto a new season with new characters too but their live shows are one-shots with the characters from season 1. It's so much fun, like getting to visit old beloved friends that you miss.
"You let HIM have the cards?" they ask. "You let HIM use Wish?" they ask. just like real life, incredible power is held arbitrarily in the hands of questionable people. at least Grog and Scanlan are fairly altruistic or at least not genocidal
I'm pretty sure all Grog is lacking to commit genocide is ambition, let's be honest. I feel like his hang up would be less 'Thats wrong' and more 'Why would I bother.'
Bards don't understand shit man. Most of them discover their talents by verbally ripping into a goblin one day, then it just fukn dies and they roll with it
Matt mercer knows how to really get to the heart of all the characters doesn't he? I mean trink is a bear and even when vex couldn't speak with animals there was still so much to him... always pulls at my heart strings
That moment really reminds me of the Jester healing Beau from death in the fight against the Rhemoraz. “Man, i could’ve hit it real good, i’m glad your back and stuff”
The group is talking about growing a second Percy from the arm stump, then Laura steps in: "No I like this idea, it could be fun!" *with an eyebrow raise* Easily the most underrated joke of the night
@@ZorgoXorgon lol 😂 how could I not think about that, thought it was referencing a in game geek joke.. No worries about asking my mother, been on the internet long enough to know about these things.. Believe me.
It’s like that one scene in TFS with Vegeta at Namek when Krillin and Gohan are about to wish. “HEY! Percy: "That is the most pompous, egotistical asshole I've ever met in my entire life!" Vex & Keyleth: *synchronized head tilt* (1:44:08) Hahahaha I love it!!! Gah, I miss Vox Machina.
No spoilers obviously (I'm only on Episode 52) but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I just can't get into the Second campaign like I got into this one. Hopefully it gets better but nothing can replace some of the dynamics of Campaign 1 and this video right here, proves it to me.
@@Helldog6 I'm on episode 88, certain events bring them together. Backstories are revealed and character arcs progress a lot, and along with them relationships are strengthened. At this point without any spoilers ford and caduceus are a noticeable pair forming, caleb is finally starting to thaw, and jester continues to be liked by everyone(in more than one way).
@@greywilds_2765 Im completely caught up and I still much prefer C1. To be fair, though, thats mostly because of Scanlan and Grog. The new group has their funny moments and all but Scanlan and Grog were consistently hilarious.
This was the best episode of Critical Role I have ever seen. The humor, the RP, the combat, the audience energy, and the absolutely insane ending. This should be the example when people ask why you enjoy D&D. It has everything. Thank you for doing what you do, CR cast and Staff!
I just want to thank Sam for taking the party to Gilmore and giving me the closure I needed to the most Glorious NPC that’s ever been. I love that Glorious bastard and I needed those feels.
So upsetting Vax never truly said goodbye to Gilmore. He just kept coming to him and telling him how he cares for him but that they cant be together. Poor Gilmore :(
@@xEvilRaptorx He did say goodbye the last time they have seen eachother in ep 113 right before the endfight againt Vecna. He said, that it has been an honor knowing Gilmore
They had to let Gilmore know of Vax's fate. It was needed. And it broke my heart and made me cry, but I loved that moment nonetheless. And then Gilmore cast a cantrip to hide his tears and put on a literal happy face (with refreshed makeup), just so he could make the children happy and being joy to other people's lives, even while he grieved for the one he's lost.
@Nicholas Wolfe well this whole world is made up, why do you care about any of them then? Trinket has been part of the story from the beginning, it makes sense for us to care.
Mercer playing Trinket when Vex does Speak with Animals are really some of my favorite parts of the first campaign. He's just so damn loyal to Vex and the rest of the crew, makes him so endearing, even if he is useless in combat.
@@zevo9314 The point was that they needed a way to transport Grog, but also wanted to bring trinket. Grog has way more HP and so in the extreme case that Trinket was KO'd, the necklace would be available for Trinket to auto-poof to. If grog was in there, there was risk of trinket dying.
Hearing Taliesin do his Percy voice again had a stronger effect than i thought it would. I can't be the only one who REALLY wants more throwback one shots like this?
I just hear grog with so much energy in his voice and I'm instantly overcome with emotion with tears falling down my face. It's amazing how wrapped up in a story you can get. Such an emotional investment and journey.
I only got part way through Vox Machina (up through the Briarwood arc) before I decided I wanted to devote my CR listening time to catching up with the Mighty Nein, but how on earth are Mollymauk Tealeaf, Caduceus Clay, and Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski DeRolo III all one person? Taliesin, you madman.
Vex takes Trinket everywhere she can, of course, because she's his mama, and also murder bear. But how torn she must have been here: take Trinket and risk his life in Pandemonium, or leave him behind with no guarantee to return, so soon after losing Vax... I wouldn't let him out of my sight either. No wonder we're so moved by Trinket's "I'll carry him." He didn't want to leave Vex alone. That, and convenient Grog backpack. :p
I took Trinkets wanting to carry Grog more as him wanting to help bring his friend back than not wanting Vex to go without him, though I'm sure that played a part.
Is it just me, or should a Grog backpack be a thing? Seriously, I'm not really into novelty backpacks, you know the teddybear shaped ones, but I would sure as hell buy a Grog shaped one... especially if it had a pull cord that made it yell 'I. WOULD. LIKE. TO. RAGE.' It'd make a fortune.
It’s kinda fitting that the First episode of Critical role on their RUclips Channel post Geek and Sundry is canonically the Last episode (for now) Of Vox Machina Campaign.
Can I just say that I am so proud of the Critter Community! It's been over a month and I have seen not a single spoiler about this one shot! I am exceptionally proud of all of you! 💚💚
I was thinking that too! Serious props to everyone who was there live. It probably wasn’t easy not immediately yelling about everything they saw, but they kept quiet just for us and for that, I am thankful ❤️
While I do agree with you, nearly as soon as it as released many Critters spammed twitter and various other Social Medias and some even claimed "You should be a true fan and watch it live" after they streamed it last night.
@@SharkfightersSH oh I dont disagree at all that they eventually would have done it. The kickstarter just gave them a reason to do it sooner rather than later.
I'm not very sure about the meaning of it. I've not followed the entire first campaign..! Can you explain / contextualize it for me, please ? :) Thanks !
Well if you watched this then the main part of it had already been spoiled, basically during the very last episode of campaign 1 Vax died permanently because of a pact he made with the Raven Queen, meaning that despite their wishes to bring Vax back they couldn't. So Keyleth can bring back Percy's arm, but she can't bring back her boyfriend
@@squattingheads Not really. He still lost it. It wouldn't make sense for Vox Machina to retain permanent injuries anyway since they're literally powerful enough to slay gods. I get Marisha's grating sometimes, but saying she ruined it this time is just wild
its so incredibly adorable how Matt is always super overwhelmed and humbled by how much everyone cheers for him every time he walks on stage lol Edit: omg they all sang happy birthday for Taliesin T-T
Yes. Even though when they first said it Percy says it was just a joke and that he had it tucked behind his back. I think it was more just to burn one of Keyleth's high-level spells before the big battle. xD
They did it because they're a bunch of nerdy ass voice actors/friends just having some fun roleplaying. This isn't really a show. Look at their faces in the more intense moments. This is real for them. (inb4 obviously this is a show. Just saying they truly care about these characters they've created, and are really just having fun spending time with each other)
And especially a druid. All the spells (though she likely chose them all beforehand since this is a one-shot and she could assume they wouldn't be taking a long rest), plus wild shapes, shapechange etc. Stats and rules. Druids are *complicated*
@@TheSolitaryGrape even more complicated with moon druid, she has so many more monster stat blocks than you would as a normal druid, Marisha did amazing handling all of it during the campaign.
@@TheSolitaryGrapeFirst time playing a druid. It is a constant battle having to anticipate the utility needs of my party, my role as our only healer, and wanting to do a little bit of damage. The complexity is real.
Except the first thing she does after entering battle is cast Shapechange...immediately after Matt saying any spell components worth more than 1gp were stolen...
So, Bertrand Bell seems like a vainglorious charlatan... But he's also legitimately one of the most dangerous entities on the planet... My head-canon is that he's *actually* a great hero, but has never had the fame he wanted. He's getting older now and is prone to exaggerating the truth out of building desperation to leave a glorious legacy.
you are probably right. i get the gilderoy lockhart comparisons, but gilderoy was a complete fraud who was completely incompetent in everything magical besides obliviation. anything above level 14 in DnD is damn near herculean demi god status, and as a level 18 fighter bertrand could probably crush almost anyone in the world in single combat
@@a7xguitar666 I've heard that he wasn't even good at obliviation. Someone skilled with the charm could carefully change the memories. He couldn't so he just absolutely blasted all of their memories (what happened to himself) and had been destroying the minds of actually promising witches and wizards for years just to claim credit.
@@a7xguitar666 can you guys calm down? empyreans, ACTUAL demigods, are CR 20+. Meaning they're about 3-4 times more powerful than a level 20 PC. A normal level 20 PC is CR 11 or 12 at best.

They played at home at first, pitched it to Geek and Sundry, and eventually got to this
@@WiseSageBum Actually, Geek and Sundry pitched them xD Apparently, they talked so much about their game of D&D that basically everyone in the industry knew about it and then Felicia Day had the idea of streaming it on her company's platform and asked Matt about it.

A very Grog thing to wake up from a coma and immediately brutalize the nearest fallen godkin thing.
The difference between Sam and Scanlan.
When he had the skeleton brought up he was in his Sam voice,.... Scanlan would have never done that
It's hammy and playing the crowd up for/with the jokes, jabs and roasts. imo unnecessary and inappropriate for a D&D sess. I was kinda disappointed. In my head it was like:
Pike to unconscious Grog: Do. Not. Move.
Turns around, lets go of Grog to get help, Grog falls back down on the floor.
I told you not to move!
To put things into perspective, Percy lost his “brother” only a couple of days ago. So “No Mercy Percy” is pretty accurate

My feeling that Liam’s proclivity towards dark and deeply disturbed characters would make him an excellent Hamlet: CONFIRMED
You should watch all work no play with him and Sam. They speak exactly of this in the show and he did play hamlet afaik
@@MrDevilWare Daaamn I had no idea. This made me so happy.
Crackpot conspiracy theory: Liam is Hamlet, reincarnated a la Link from LOZ
> When he picks up a skull and starts talking to it in Campaign 2....
Watch the first add of the break
Awww Marisha reaching out to grab Matt's hand when he walks out and is super nervous, what an act of love.
I just want to thank Sam for taking the party to Gilmore and giving me the closure I needed to the most Glorious NPC that’s ever been. I love that Glorious bastard and I needed those feels.
when matt played gilmore my eyes just bursted down tears
Glad we have the same Icon.
"I can carry him." - Trinket. Never have I cried so much because of a bear, may the gods bless that beautiful fluff ball that is Trinket.
A fictional bear even.
I don't get it, why is this such a big deal?
@Nicholas Wolfe well this whole world is made up, why do you care about any of them then? Trinket has been part of the story from the beginning, it makes sense for us to care.
Trinket positivity is rare in these parts and I live for it
Mercer playing Trinket when Vex does Speak with Animals are really some of my favorite parts of the first campaign. He's just so damn loyal to Vex and the rest of the crew, makes him so endearing, even if he is useless in combat.
"I don't know how magic works."
Rolls 28 Arcana check.
He basically shut down a God's magic 2 days ago in game too hahaha
When Trinket says "I can carry him" I just started blubbering and I didn't stop
Same
We all love Matt....❤
"I CAN CARRY HIM" I effing died.
i still dont know why he decided that. he'd be safer in the necklace. but if a sad bear wants to carry his unconscious friend, you let him
@@zevo9314 The point was that they needed a way to transport Grog, but also wanted to bring trinket. Grog has way more HP and so in the extreme case that Trinket was KO'd, the necklace would be available for Trinket to auto-poof to. If grog was in there, there was risk of trinket dying.
Hearing Taliesin do his Percy voice again had a stronger effect than i thought it would.
I can't be the only one who REALLY wants more throwback one shots like this?
welp we get another one friday, just hope they leave the door open for another.
And another coming next week :)
Also TWO seasons of animated goodness.
No, you're not the only one.
On the other hand, I almost cried at the begining. I'm not sure if I can handle all that emotion and sadness every time.
If you didn't finish the Briarwood Arc, you should still try to. It's still (I think) the overall fan favourite Critical Role arc.
@@TheKazragore fuck yeah!
Dear lord you missed SO MUCH
Strix182 the briarwood arc is great, second only in my opinion to M9 pirate arc. Fluffernutter AND the Fappy Fun Ball of Tricks? Winning
Calling him a madman would imply that he's a man, and whatever he is, thats definitelly no mere human.
"We could tie his hands together, he could be like a Grog Backpack!"
Or a _literal_ Grog of Holding :D
I need me a Grog of Holding. lol it would be so useful.
Can I just say that I am so proud of the Critter Community! It's been over a month and I have seen not a single spoiler about this one shot! I am exceptionally proud of all of you! 💚💚
I was literally just thinking that right now as I go into it, I have absolutely no idea what happened, I haven't even seen any fan art.
I was thinking that too! Serious props to everyone who was there live. It probably wasn’t easy not immediately yelling about everything they saw, but they kept quiet just for us and for that, I am thankful ❤️
It was REALLY hard to keep quiet. REALLY. HARD.
While I do agree with you, nearly as soon as it as released many Critters spammed twitter and various other Social Medias and some even claimed "You should be a true fan and watch it live" after they streamed it last night.
IKR!!! Awesome
Sam: Is the search for Bob its own adventure.
Matt: Nope.
Me: *looks to the Search for Bob video in my recommended*
Funny what people will do when you give them 11 MILLION DOLLARS
@@Karak971 Aw come on, he propably planned to do this anyway, and if not for kickstarter, then for charity.
@@SharkfightersSH oh I dont disagree at all that they eventually would have done it. The kickstarter just gave them a reason to do it sooner rather than later.

Honestly
"I'll regenerate your arm. I'll bring that back I guess." Nothing more devastating than that has ever been said in the history of Tal'Dorei
I'm not very sure about the meaning of it. I've not followed the entire first campaign..! Can you explain / contextualize it for me, please ? :)
Thanks !
And with that, she destroyed the whole point of the „missing arm“ story.
She couldn’t just let the joke happen. Ruined the whole moment
@@squattingheads Not really. He still lost it. It wouldn't make sense for Vox Machina to retain permanent injuries anyway since they're literally powerful enough to slay gods. I get Marisha's grating sometimes, but saying she ruined it this time is just wild
@@squattingheads and fuck up Taliesin's evening for a throwaway joke in the process? Yeah what a terrible thing to do, smh...
liam o brien only knows how to do ONE (1) female voice but gosh darnit he aint afraid to use it
KT I for one love his one female voice. It's sexy!
I love how the audience collectively goes "NIEN!" whenever someone rolls a nine
I feel like the 2 natural 20s were a way to apologize from the dice gods after the 3 natural 1s from the second season 😂
That moment when you realize "The Search For Grog." Was a one-shot escort mission...mind=blown.
its so incredibly adorable how Matt is always super overwhelmed and humbled by how much everyone cheers for him every time he walks on stage lol
Edit: omg they all sang happy birthday for Taliesin T-T
Grog: Wakes up
Emperyean: Why do hear boss music-
Ah the 4 plus hour roast of Travis and Grog
Wonder what he'll do during this episode
keep this audio guy. they did great!
No kidding, this is the first live show that doesn't sound like it's being recorded with a potato at any point.
"I'll regenerate your arm! I'll bring that back, *I guess!"*
*hisses through teeth* Ohhhhh, now I get it.....
I don't get it :(
ravinsaber she couldn’t bring back vax..
Huh, I never realized. I thought that was just Marisha being salty about spending a high level spell, but that makes sense.
@@vatatheoanonymous3705 She's definitely salty about that too. 😂 But yeah, she misses Vax most of all.
I like how Grog eventually just becomes an item for a bit.
Trinket equips Grog for a brief time with slowed movement due to Grog's size and weight.
@@elusivegamergirl im honestly surprised trinket is able to hold grog up at all. Doesnt grog weigh like 600 pounds?
@@jakewulgar lol true. But Trinket's a strong fluffball.
@@jakewulgar I mean irl bears ragdoll moose easily. Moose can easily weigh over 600 pounds.
Ashley doing that little victory dance when Grog gets the HDYWTDT at the end is so precious and adorable
...Do they make Percy lose his arm _just to preserve canon?_
And theyd do it again
Of course the storyteller would!
Yes. Even though when they first said it Percy says it was just a joke and that he had it tucked behind his back. I think it was more just to burn one of Keyleth's high-level spells before the big battle. xD
And then that scene wasn’t even canon
They did it because they're a bunch of nerdy ass voice actors/friends just having some fun roleplaying. This isn't really a show. Look at their faces in the more intense moments. This is real for them. (inb4 obviously this is a show. Just saying they truly care about these characters they've created, and are really just having fun spending time with each other)
Trying to play a level 20 caster after not playing a caster for a year is brutal. Mad props to marisha
💯 honestly
1 hour in and I have already laughed and cried... I love these people and their characters so much. "where's the pretty one?" broke my heart!
He's certainly competent enough.
@@makom2405 That just makes me hate him even more, holy shit

@@a7xguitar666 can you guys calm down? empyreans, ACTUAL demigods, are CR 20+. Meaning they're about 3-4 times more powerful than a level 20 PC. A normal level 20 PC is CR 11 or 12 at best.
