In the first movie, the creeper was mysterious and throughout the slow but well paced movie, it got more and more disturbing vs. the third movie, the creature looked less scary and the script was so weirdly developed and had a little bit of continuity. On top of that, the creeper hunted in the daylight and it's wings were smaller and less intimidating compared to it's second movie appearnce.

I just noticed a detail. Remember Gena Phillips' character aka Trish was holding glasses when she was in the car. That may mean that her eyes weren't that good at all if she needed them. However, even though she probably had something else the Creeper needed it wasn't more important than his need for eyes which Darry had perfectly. Also, you can notice the Creeper going blind which is why his eyes were a grey color. Another keynote, you know what is terrifying!! After Darry was taken by the Creeper in part 1, it was stated that the Creeper locked Darry in the meatpacking plant and went right back out to hunt throughout the night. It was stated that Darry was in the dark hearing other people being tortured throughout the night. It also was stated that the Creeper started torturing Darry in the day.
We’ve already covered this. They have done extensive work to remove him from franchise. He is not making any money from new movies. The plot lines were already imposed, having the third movie in between the first and second has never been done before. It had to be on the same feeding cycle, otherwise it would have to be 23 years later. He was very creative and was cancelled personally, but that doesn’t mean the franchise has to be cancelled.

The Creeper is one of the most underrated horror creations to exist in media; the fact that the 3rd film dismantled the foundation it built is heartbreaking. With that being said, I’m praying that Reborn somewhat adheres to the first two and pulls something miraculous off. I don’t have high hopes for it (due to certain set pieces and replacement characters) but I just want a solid trilogy for my favorite horror character.

I really enjoyed the first movie. The others seemed a bit like cash ins. Still...the Creeper is bad ass, and definitely the coolest movie monster to come around in a long time. So I look forward to (hopefully) a properly funded new Creeper trilogy.
I like 1 & 2. Well shot sequences and some great stunts especially in the second one. Fun stories in both even if there are things that make no sense such as the truck the creeper drives.

The only time when the creeper gets seriously hurt is when ever the weebing behind it's head gets hurt and it has been theorized that thing behind it's head is the alien. And check out Roanoke Gaming video on the creeper where he uses science and reasoning to explain that the webbing on it's back is a parasite. I'm the second movie when it's head get chopped off it the creeper replaces it with the nearest human head then the webbing attaches to the human head then becomes a creeper head.

Everybody hated the third movie, but I just feel it was released too late, the first two where already setting things for what happened explicitly on the third, it explored and exposed more the fact we already knew but was softener on the first two: the creeper is supernatural, the ghosts of previous victims walks with him and are able to contact chosen ones that happen to have some kind of mediunic powers awakened or not, his truck was too old and heavy to be so fast in the first movie and there we see it is also supernatural, the ideas in this movie would be more accepted near the times of the second movie, when it came out we where in the beginning of post horror, Wich doesn't accept explicit things and gore much, now for a horror movie be seen as something good it needs to be an analogy to depression or whatever.

Tashtego is an American Indian harpooner who is part of Ahab's crew in "Moby-Dick" (and there are four -- Ahab's personal harpooner, is hidden below decks and is a Zoroastrian called Fedallah -- and often overlooked by both readers and critics of the novel) All the harpooners in "Moby-Dick" are of different cultures: Tashtego, the American Indian, Daggoo, a West African and freed slave, Queegueg-- a Pacific Islander and son of a chief, and the harpooneer most heavily featured in the account of the narrator. Fedallah appears when the true hunt is on and is hand selected and kept hidden from the rest of the crew) Naming the sheriff Tashtego brought him instantly to life for me, as The Creeper very much carries the Trophy Hunter, Unstoppable demon represented by Moby-Dick. To destroy the centuries old bane of this town, who rises every 23 years to seek his hunt owes a lot to Melville. That Tashtego, named for a doomed harpooner, who then encounters an harpoon-armed truck was simple genius. And yes, I am a Monster Girl and have been my whole life. I love The Creeper's vague but grounded backstory and this design is one of the most original and, in my opinion, overlooked masterpieces of creature suits. He works. The story works. It also owes a great deal of its DNA to the tv film "Gargoyles", another great and overlooked creature film with one of Stan Winston's first full make up and suit commissions. It's still great, and one of my favorites. There's a hardcore group of it who know both and we keep coming back.

I have watched all 3 movies & STILL DON'T KNOW THE DAMN ORGIN STORY OF THE MONSTER. The 3rd movie teases us with it but never delivers. Even going as far as blue balling us burying a big sign that might as well have a giant middle finger to the audience on it. (the sign just says "We know what you are" & creeper after destroying the hand has a over dramatic NOOOOOO moment complete with falling to his knees and giving an loud scream. They even did the DUH DUH DUH thing. Such bullshit.

Absolutely, but the other movies were fun and tolerable because you went to the movie to see the Creeper Creature and not for the plot. HOWEVER This movie was HORRIBLE. Why in the world would you not bring the original Creeper back. The Guy who played the creeper in this movie was horrible! It's like having a 5 foot 4 guy play Jason?? The guy was hunched over most of the movie hiding under what appears to be a palm hat painted black. Such a HUGE waste of film. As soon as I saw that it wasn't the original Creeper I wanted to leave. He's served his time in prison, but after Jeepers Creepers 2, everyone found out about what he did, and companies wouldn't lend him the money he needed to continue the franchise. It took him like 10 years just to secure the small budget in Jeepers Creepers 3, which was too low to make a good film, and a lot of people boycotted the film because of his past. He's now sold the franchise so it can become successful without him holding it back.

This first film scared me more than any movie I have ever seen. Watching it in the dark, at 14 years old, traumatized me!

I like the theory that the Creeper was some sort of Prince in ancient times, that did someone wrong, and so got cursed to live as a monster for the rest of his life. I like him as a solo entity, not a part of any species or group.

I like 1 & 2. Well shot sequences and some great stunts especially in the second one. Fun stories in both even if there are things that make no sense such as the truck the creeper drives.

Well part 3 almost ruined the franchise. But jeepers creepers reborn..... RUINED it! I only paid $7 to see it and still felt robbed. I believe that Hollywood has become so woke, they have lost all sense of imagination in making good films. How disappointing.

I think because she stood up to him made her not useful because was not giving off “Fear” odor. The other issue is the people are getting too old for cast. There’s too much time passed. There were real veteran actors used. Now cast is too young for followers.

As far a JC3, what a waste! I was irked watching it. The red shirt did me in! He was fine in the trench coat and hat. I went on their FB page to express my disappointment….my post was getting a lot of likes too, I didn’t curse or anything…just was blunt asf about it because I LOVE the Creeper! That movie was not that great and it was not the original storyline that was proposed for part 3, it was diff than what I was expecting. I love horror movies, especially good movie monster. As you said in the video, he was one of the best monsters introduced in the 2000s, bc at that time it was only the real OG movie monsters aka Freddy/Jason/leather face/Michael Myers/Pinhead so the Creeper was a nice bit of fresh air too! I can’t wait for JC4, I will rewatch JC3 as a refresh, bc I only watched it once! Very rare I can’t watch a movie/show that I don’t love. It’s crazy bc I liked some of the actors in it! Glad to hear Justin Long returning as well Gina Phillips. Sad to hear JB won’t be returning, he was good and underneath it all he is an attractive guy with a nice smile 🤣🤣😁. There is a theory that the creeper was a cowboy one day an alien Paraste feel from the sky then attached itself to the cowboy then the cowboy started eating birds, crocodiles, and bats.But then started eating humans.
This theory is supported by the fact that the creeper has artifacts from the confederate war and the creator of the creeper said that it was a human.
The only time when the creeper gets seriously hurt is when ever the weebing behind it's head gets hurt and it has been theorized that thing behind it's head is the alien.
And check out Roanoke Gaming video on the creeper where he uses science and reasoning to explain that the webbing on it's back is a parasite.
I'm the second movie when it's head get chopped off it the creeper replaces it with the nearest human head then the webbing attaches to the human head then becomes a creeper head.

Everybody hated the third movie, but I just feel it was released too late, the first two where already setting things for what happened explicitly on the third, it explored and exposed more the fact we already knew but was softener on the first two: the creeper is supernatural, the ghosts of previous victims walks with him and are able to contact chosen ones that happen to have some kind of mediunic powers awakened or not, his truck was too old and heavy to be so fast in the first movie and there we see it is also supernatural, the ideas in this movie would be more accepted near the times of the second movie, when it came out we where in the beginning of post horror, Wich doesn't accept explicit things and gore much, now for a horror movie be seen as something good it needs to be an analogy to depression or whatever.

It's a creepy movie, made by a real life creeper, for the enjoyment of other creepers. Audiences get to eat this shit as entertainment, just liek they do when they watch a Saw or a Hostal movies.

“Successful franchise” is a bit of a stretch
Three tends to be a bit uneven compared to one and two, but has a great ending. What I truly loved about it (and I love this entire franchise, despite Silva's unforgivable deeds, which simply painted the films with an even more ominous message in its established plot line) in that the sheriff is given the name Tashtego.
Tashtego is an American Indian harpooner who is part of Ahab's crew in "Moby-Dick" (and there are four -- Ahab's personal harpooner, is hidden below decks and is a Zoroastrian called Fedallah -- and often overlooked by both readers and critics of the novel) All the harpooners in "Moby-Dick" are of different cultures: Tashtego, the American Indian, Daggoo, a West African and freed slave, Queegueg-- a Pacific Islander and son of a chief, and the harpooneer most heavily featured in the account of the narrator. Fedallah appears when the true hunt is on and is hand selected and kept hidden from the rest of the crew)
Naming the sheriff Tashtego brought him instantly to life for me, as The Creeper very much carries the Trophy Hunter, Unstoppable demon represented by Moby-Dick. To destroy the centuries old bane of this town, who rises every 23 years to seek his hunt owes a lot to Melville. That Tashtego, named for a doomed harpooner, who then encounters an harpoon-armed truck was simple genius. And yes, I am a Monster Girl and have been my whole life. I love The Creeper's vague but grounded backstory and this design is one of the most original and, in my opinion, overlooked masterpieces of creature suits. He works. The story works. It also owes a great deal of its DNA to the tv film "Gargoyles", another great and overlooked creature film with one of Stan Winston's first full make up and suit commissions. It's still great, and one of my favorites. There's a hardcore group of it who know both and we keep coming back.

I had no idea there was a third one! Were the second and third straight to video? I do not remember any Jeepers Creepers in theaters except for the first one.
3rd was a one night exclusive in theaters but I think you can watch it on Netflix now, I’m not sure about the second. You wanna watch them in this order: 1,3,2.

I have watched all 3 movies & STILL DON'T KNOW THE DAMN ORGIN STORY OF THE MONSTER. The 3rd movie teases us with it but never delivers. Even going as far as blue balling us burying a big sign that might as well have a giant middle finger to the audience on it. (the sign just says "We know what you are" & creeper after destroying the hand has a over dramatic NOOOOOO moment complete with falling to his knees and giving an loud scream. They even did the DUH DUH DUH thing. Such bullshit.
Jeepers creepers one is definitely my favorite two was pretty decent three for me was a miss my biggest reason for this is there were three people who had a vision on how to actually kill it the fact that they didn't show neither vision is completely unacceptable hopefully in the future there is a part 4 with Trisha returning I mean they kind of gave us that little teaser at the end of the last movie
It wasn't vision of how to kill the creeper I believe they saw its homeworld or some sort of back story but I could be wrong.
All of that is definitely possible but it's still as something audience should have been able to see one of the three times

Let me start by saying I am a huge Jeeper's fan. Was it downhill after the first movie? Absolutely, but the other movies were fun and tolerable because you went to the movie to see the Creeper Creature and not for the plot. HOWEVER This movie was HORRIBLE. Why in the world would you not bring the original Creeper back. The Guy who played the creeper in this movie was horrible! It's like having a 5 foot 4 guy play Jason?? The guy was hunched over most of the movie hiding under what appears to be a palm hat painted black. Such a HUGE waste of film. As soon as I saw that it wasn't the original Creeper I wanted to leave. His wardrobe and make up were just as terrible as his acting. BIG THUMBS DOWN! ALSO whats with not even playing the original music?? I mean I can go on and on.. The guy who made this movie should be banned. Make a movie with the original music and the original actor and I'll go see it, even if he's eating pancakes, I'll go see it. But delve into the history of the creeper more!
