Also, the guy that played her greek father in the first two movies actually died in 2021. Which explains why in the third movie, he passed away.
He played the gypsey in Thinner.
@@anubusxI've never heard of it. My big fat greek wedding was my only introduction to him.
The first movie I saw him in was “North Avenue Irregulars”.
@@meganjaime7728man, there are movies that he was in that I never heard of.
The guy playing Ian’s dad in the first two also films also died so the film granddads won’t be in the 3rd film
surprised he didn’t sin the handi-capable club being on the second floor.
Thought I was the only one that saw that
🤣🤣🤣
Hey, they’re handi-capable! They got that shit. What’s a few flights of stairs? People just lazy.
@@Marshmallow_Trees The ppl in wheelchairs looking at this comment disdainfully like: 😐
To be fair, my piece of crap run down high school DID have an easily missed and forgotten elevator for wheelchairs all the way back in the 80s - only the wheelchair kids had the key, I never really saw the inside (though I think I saw it being waited for). Also, same high school the main floor WAS the second, we'd walk in from the driveway to the second floor, so our handicapped things like a club would have been on the second (like in the library or the girls' gym or the boys gym or main office, all second floor features) :) We'd have to go downstairs to get to the 1st floor. And I'm now in a wheelchair and agree with all jokes and mocking here, so :)
Truly comedy is misery 🤣🤣🤣
Should add a “character closes door and then a lot of people barge in” cliche’. No way she didn’t hear the family that close to the door. As an Italian-which is pretty close to Greek- there’s no way the family is that quiet.
I know!
As a Greek person, can confirm. No Greek family is that quiet 😂
You even hear them before they're out of the car...
Oh, she heard them and tried her best to ignore them jk
2:53 - I wholeheartedly agree. During the last few years of his life, my father, who refused to admit he had health issues, blacked out while driving at the wheel on more than one occasion; once, he ran off the road into a ditch, and the second time, he smashed into the back of someone's car. I still give thanks every day that no lives were lost on either occasion, but it's scary to think about how it COULD have gone.
Unfortunately, you the Americans have designed your cities that way, so you all can depend on cars and not use public transport. You call it capitalism.
Automatic sin for any movie that uses the Greek letter S as an E just because it looks a bit like one. My Big Fat Grssk Wedding 😂
There's a whole Subreddit about it - r/grssk!
Yes, I know it's Sigma. So I have to say it.

Philosophy, Democracy, Tea, and traditional "medicine" have all been resposible for the death of _a lot of people,_ compared to all of them Penicillin has the lowest kill count.
I wouldn't be surprised if even paper was responsible for more deaths than it.
So let the Scott have his day.
Amen-thank you for pointing these facts out.
It's true. Paper almost killed Bella Swan.
How has philosophy or tea cause any deaths? Philosophy just means the love of wisdom, philosophers don't tend to go out and kill people they just stay in and read books. And you could say tea can be poisoned but so could another beverage.
I don't know. Penecillan was a very important discovery.
"Wow that Ben Affleck quip ended up doing some heavy lifting eh?!"
How do you get the early access what the..
I was literally going to ask this,tf???
Brought to you by “my big fat Greek wedding 3” featuring n’sync’s Joey fatone in theaters this weekend

Gold as always! By the way, the word you were looking for is actually "albeit," not "all-be-it," and "sic," not "sick," in the context of setting a person or animal on someone. Appreciate all the work you all do for these :)
Penicillin is a life saving medication, something I've washed down with tea, so the Greek version of Pavel Chekov's skewed history is not cute.
I actually found myself laughing out loud several times watching this movie. Maybe you have to have had similar experiences with your own family in order to truly appreciate this film, but I loved it.👍
How does Jeremy continue to write fresh jokes that are still as funny as the first time he made a video? Not one of these jokes fell flat
He has a whole team writing jokes
Listen, I know a lot of Greek people in real life. This is pretty accurate, although, they aren't obsessed with Windex. I do think that's a fine cleaning substance though. Lol
You’ve never met my Greek family then- they use windex for everything. They’re literally obsessed 😂
FYI, is it me or did Paris inherit her mom’s complete embarrassment of her family? Like Athena is like her version of voula who btw is hilarious but still would drive me insane if she was my aunt
Nine of these women irl would be married to men like this
@@purplerider2362 Considering Nia wrote the first movie based on her own experiences marrying outside her Greek background, I'd say your assessment is not the most spot on
@@NYChica23 I’m sorry. Do u love these women?? They look ruff AF
And I cannot WAIT to see the 3rd!!!!
Well, someone's gotta get married in it, and the only one left would be Paris, so there you go.
@@jaycee330 nope, that will be part 4.
As much as I love this movie and don’t love that I agree with the sins 😅 I’m very appreciative of your pronunciation of gyro ☺️☺️
I wasn’t aware this movie existed until they started advertising the third one.
I do not assume that people know about these movies if they aren't at least part greek.
Same. I was really confused.
10:57 This is a tease for EWW Fiddler on the Roof, right? It better be a tease for EWW Fiddler on the Roof.
Since Fiddler on the Roof makes me think of Zero Mostel (yes, I know he's not in the film), I also wouldn't mind EWW A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
Look, I like the first movie as a guilty pleasure, but the BIGGEST sin is that this movie EXISTS. 🛎 [DING!]
I liked the third movie where they visit Greece for a reunion, I would recommend watching it.
Highly cultural families are just a pain in the ass. Drama for the sake of drama. I’m so happy to be single.
Don’t know if someone mentioned it earlier, but you missed the fact that the handi-capable meets on the SECOND floor of the gym. I’ve never seen a gym with an elevator. This seems very discriminatory to me…
They are here in Vegas. There are quite a few gyms with elevators
The gym I go to in NYC has those in a few of their locations
So Gus and Maria had no witnesses at their original wedding? Are they all dead? Because Gus's mother and brother should have been there snd could have vouched for him to valudate the ceremony. Also why is Gus's mom living with him in America and not back in Greece with Panos?
True
Becauase in part 1 there was no Panos, there were 3 other brothers all living in Chicago.
Given thr until lives penicillin has saved, I would say its easily on par with paper and tead and more useful than philosophy
I'm giving you a sin for not knowing Robocop was based in Detroit.
Rest in peace Mark Margolis🙏
18:30 I speak Greek as a first language and his pronunciation here is so terrible that even though it had subtitles I still had to listen to it three times to understand what he actually said.
The family are proud greeks who never talk greek.
How about the first movie where Voula can't pronounce "biopsy" - a frigging GREEK WORD.
@@jaycee330dude, that killed me 😂
@@Leenapanther He's not actually Greek though.
You make a good point on the Superman and Lex Luther part.
Korean on Mondays, Greek on Friday, Handi on Wednesdays. 3:45 is a good time to meet. That is why they have different days.
Getting a handi on Wednesday is always appreciated.
I think it would have been awesome if this movie was about planning a wedding for Angelo and his boyfriend.
Why? Don't we have enough gay stuff in movies?
@@SnoopyReads Not really as we have far more straight stuff.
@@cara9648 that's because 98% of the population is straight you dolt, too much representation for gays as it is
@@cara9648 maybe because in the real world, biological men and women are attracted to each other more than the rainbow brigade.
@@johnkalap9314no. gtfo with your blatant homophobia.
CinemaSins Sin: Your caption uses the verb "alter" meaning "to change," when you should have used the noun "altar"
Also "all-be-it" instead of "albeit".
Do The Sandlot PLEASE
As a Greek, I can confirm everything in this movie xD
I only saw this movie once, but it was still a good movie. Hopefully the third movie is good.
Sin 59, sad but true. Many universities won't let people with some arrests into their school.
It still would be a terrible thing for the dad to do, even though of course it's supposed to be a joke.
I wasn't paying attention and was pretty surprised seeing Hector Salamanca show up
10:58 I started watching Fiddler on the Roof on tv by accident while flipping through channels. I came across the scene where the daughter's boyfriend was complaining and waving his arms around while walking in circles and thought it was a Woody Allen movie.😂
Nicky should have been the one to come out of the closet. If you watch the first movie, you see that under his goofball nature, he's actually artistic and sensitive. Give Angelo the kids and the wife who does nothing, and give Nick the boyfriend.
Because we all know that an artistic and sensitive man MUST be gay 🙄
Nick was also being secretive and evasive in the first movie. Clearly he was hiding something.
You should taken off a sin for the gem that is Andrea Martin.
And add a sin that they changed Toula’s name for the series and changed it back for this movie.
I recognize the name Andrea Martin - from a video review I watched of an adaptation of David Copperfield that turns everyone into cats, dogs, rats, monkeys, bear/mole thingies, and whatnot, apparently she plays the character Betsy Trotwood.
@@ilikecurry2345 She is very talented. She is currently playing a dramatic role on the Paramount+ show Evil (recommended)
@@Vahktang Alrighty.
8:27 There was a Beauty and the Beast 3? Wow.
And there’s going to be a third one! And it doesn’t even touch on anything in this movie that could’ve been it’s own plot as well…yay sequels!
16:38 OMG. OMG. Boy did you get something right.
A disappointing 27% on Rotten Tomatoes
“Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is as sweet and harmless as the original, but its collection of sitcom gags and stereotypes never coalesces into anything resembling a story with a purpose.”
Because the first one Nia has someone who looked over her work and helped edit it.
I actually liked "Old."
I'm one of the lucky 7. lol
I don’t know if this counts as a sin, but I legitimately thought Ed Burns was Iain Glen, the evil doctor from Resident Evil for even like a solid ten minutes into this video.
"womien in this family clearly have an issue picking men to fall in love with" from what I can tell, a lot of men and women regardless of genetics have an issue of picking mates lol
Why do I get the feeling if they had called this movie "We Don't Talk About Paris" that it could have been a horror movie instead of a comedy?
Stuck on how the aunt and husband can’t do the sign of the cross after being Catholics for years
I thought they were Greek Orthodox. Ian had to convert in the first movie.
They're Greek Orthodox...different thing from Roman Catholic
It was a great reference! Thanks cinemasins ❤😂
Yay, I was one of those seven people, Jeremy!!! 🙃
Im sinning "handi capable" the word is disabled. Im disabled
holy crap, I never knew they made a sequel
They also had a short lived TV show called My Big Fat Greek Life that aired 7 episodes 😅.
@@findingmariaselvis Jesus, they really pumped a mediocre film for all its worth
Neither did I.
I'm not even half way through the video and I want to pull my hair out with the shit I'm hearing both from the movie and the narrator.
The movie was so enjoyable. Even after knowing the glitches, it gives happiness.
2:08 Oh ho ho, you don’t know how right you are about this. 😂
This video is very unaware of Greek culture and the hilarity of it. It’s all just comedy. Lol.
I enjoy your videos, but please do your research about Macedonia before accusing Greece.
You need to do the Barbie movie
Please sin The Meg 2
Nice rocket raccoon reference.
For a future American tail 2 video:
1.during the cat attack when Tanya (and her family) are thrown out of her house you can notice that the authors decided to leave her without underwear in the sequel, they openly show that she has nothing under her skirt (2. The same happens in the scene when Tanya falls in the powder puff); 3.when Tanya dances in the bar you can notice that her big muscular body (from the past shots) has turned into a thin female waist (her legs especially became longer), how is it possible?
I'm sure the 3rd one is going be next😂😂
Wow! The first one you did was in 2016? Holy crap!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!!!
….rip it to shreds
I wanted any sin involving Mark Margolis to use the bell Hector used in BB.
Here for the Old reference 🤭
I mean, everyone should just switch to Mediterranean diet
"I hear they took care of the Greeks once upong a time" HAHHAAHAHAHHAA
The end is the best. Seinfeld, Simpsons, it has it all
I never went to a school with lockers. But if I did, it would have a couple a Venom, transformers, and pokemon stickers.
Please do Airplane! (1980)!!
Been a min since I been here
There's 2 of these? 🤨
Sequels can be a hit or a miss.
Can you please do rush hour, rush hour 2 or 3? I love your videos and make me laugh so much 😭
Ace shout out! Rare amongst even queer creators!
Penicillin tops all the other examples
Ya missed the next moment of the college move-in scene... "Um, are they staying?" (Cut to Toula, Ian, her parents and several aunts)
I understood the reference!
Share with the class!
@@cynclairewoods4225 As Adam Smith, the 18th century philosopher and father of modern economics, said: “It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.” Both parties to a voluntary exchange transaction have their own interest in the outcome, but neither can obtain what he or she wants without addressing what the other wants. It is this rational self-interest that can lead to economic prosperity.
Or it's about the horror movie ,,Old''.
...Or it's about funny cats. My best guess is ,,Old''.
Roll Weddingits!
I desperately need "EWW Fast X in X minutes" in my life. I shall not rest until my request is met
21:21 Yeah, I get the Old reference.
"Roll the maps"!
I didn't know that there was a 3rd movie
Waiting for Fast x can't wait 😂😂😂
22:14 that's perfect
I’m not even Greek and I’m rather offended….I don’t care how accurate it is haha
Wait did you do the first one?

10 (23:34): Star Trek: First Contact (Paramount Pictures, 1996)
Because Macedonia is Greek and so it’s it’s history. That’s why we insisted about the north part.
I don’t know Joey fatone was in this?
Ok. In a traditional conservative Greek family, the writers thought "Oh homosexuality... No problem!".
Done with this garbage.
Fat?
Wife - Does this dress make me look fat?
Husband - No Honey, it's the fat that makes you look fat.
LMAO!!
I think you meant Aromantic or Asexual Aromantic.
But I'll hold the sin because you tried.
Spanakopita!
It was a fun family movie. I really liked it
is the origin of the word "Windex" Greek?
They kill off Gus in 3 for the same reason Paul was killed off in 8 Simple Rules. The actor died.
"America gave you the missionary position. You're welcome!"
Would love to see a sin video on the movie " A knight's tale" at some point!
YES! 💯
Ok, the North Macedonia thing is a very complicated and sore subject, I don't know if you should use that as a flippant joke. I don't see you using the war in Ukraine as a quip, so maybe don't do that for this as well.
Could have made a Cyprus joke instead...
