You can't teach an infant that young not to grasp. As I have said in other similar comments, the baby is exhibiting a reflex, and you can't teach away a reflex. They GROW out of it. This infant has no clue what's going on and can't even clearly see at this stage of life. You can keep the cat safe by removing the baby's hand, and of course that should be done, but nothing is being "learned" through that redirection at this stage of development. What are people learning in high school biology? I knew this even as a teenager, how are ppl so ignorant as to how their own species grows and develops???
One of the sweetest baby and best friend cat videos, especially since it shows a mother teaching her child how to/how to not touch her cat! Loving touches to our pets are learned! Thanks Mom!

You can't teach a baby not to grasp like that at that stage of infancy; she can't even rollover at that age much less control her hand movements, lmfao. Definitely need to remove the baby's hand to keep kitty safe, but that grasping is a reflex the baby will eventually grow out of, not a choice😅 All these ppl with no clue about human development.
@@Starlight_16 everyone’s saying the child should be taught the to be gentle with the cat but no one is saying anything about teaching the cat not to be in the baby’s crib and not to sit on the baby’s chest which can slow down the babies breathing and she could have easily suffocated the baby in the crib. A baby doesn’t know better but the cat is very smart and should be taught not to do those thing because it could really hurt or smother the baby to death discipline the cat not the baby everyones pointing out the baby grabbing the cat but forgot to acknowledge the cats wrong doing as well the baby clearly isn’t ready to play with a cat yet keep them both safe by keeping them away from one another or supervised don’t allow the cat on top of the baby and don’t let the baby pull the cats but the baby clearly needs time to grow a little to understand what she is doing

Cats are very loving and they love their special human and get very attached and protective of their favorite human specially if that human is a small child, many people don’t understand cats but they have adorable and sensitive feelings, I’ve had cats since I was born and I’m 64 yrs old
My adolescent cat Mac was obsessed with my daughter. Before she was born he would constantly cuddle my belly and tried laying in all her things. When she got here he stayed out of her stuff but would always be near. So if she was asleep in the bassinet he would be on the bed watching. My daughter passed away at 6 months old to an undiagnosed heart defect while asleep in my arms. I didn't think animals grieved like humans. But he did, he would lay in her spot on the bed, anything that was hers he was drawn to. I wish I could have gotten to see the interactions of them when she got bigger. I'll just have to wait till heaven to see them together again.

I think cats probably also think human babies are cute. There's a spot in both our brains for us both to really like _their_ babies, there's gotta be something making us really like _our_ babies, too. Right?
LOOOOVE seeing a parent teach their child how to be with pets! too often parents let their kids pull and tug and hit on pets and hurt them. i also love that while she clearly trusts kitty and its clear there's love between kitty and baby, she makes sure she's always supervising them. safe parenting, both pet parent and human parent!

So true, I’ve had several and they are the most affectionate cats!
Black, white, ginger, gray it doesn’t matter. My multicolored NFC and MC does the exact same thing. The kindest giant cats I have called my family members!
Same here: since 1989, I have had 5…two Came To Me….picked me…(too long to explain) and were my definite “SoulCat”.; the other 3 (only 1 remaining, a recent rescue) ALL sweethearts, not a mean bone in their bodies, except when it comes to insects (or, as they’re called in our household, “Buggies”….Just the simple utterance of the word, along with a friendly eager loving sense of urgency, gets their attention and they are ready to GO!!!)
What does it being black have to do with its personality
Orange cats are descendants of the devil or even devils in disguise.
That's her kitten baby
Smiling baby and happy cat: kind human detected! ❤❤❤
"This baby-soul's like catnip" -Dark Lord Sheba
Love the fact that momma is teaching her very young child how to treat animals. Warms my heart.
Thanks Mom!
Baby anxiety taking care of......purrrrfect 🐈❤
Cats are beautiful in their own way. And they protect the home and owners from unclean spirits🙏🏽
My cat growing up knew he couldn't get in the crib, but used it as a way to get my mom's attention when he knew something was wrong. so smart
She's going to be guarding her for ever, I grew up with a cat for the first 16 years of my life and he was like a big brother to me even though he was a cat. I really miss him sometimes.
Catbro 😂❤
😢 I'm sorry for your loss.
he's looking down on you from kitty heaven, with the rest of your loved ones.
My heart
Same! My parents got a cat right when I was a newborn. She lived to 17. Miss my animals everyday
They have a strong bond!!! Luna reminds me of my cat that had lived to be 19 years old. There isn't a day I don't mist my cat.
I can only imagine the beautiful memories this little girl will have when she’s older
She is protecting her "kitten"
I want to see an update on these two cuties
I so agree with you, videos of those two as she grows older. ❤
You know this cat LOVES this kid. Didn't even flinch with her whole ear in baby's fist. And good on mom for gentle correction. These two are going to be the BEST of friends
Salutes to the baby's mama, who teaches baby not to hurt the kitty - awesome! 🤗
What beautiful baby and her cat. Her protector. Cats can and do fall madly in love with their human. They like the rest of the family...but their human is who they want. Much love to both Callie and her Luna. ❤❤
i love how she teaches her baby to be gentle with another furr baby.. early stage of compassion. great job mama!
Every baby needs a fuzzbear.
Cats are absolutely loyal and true protectors
Such precious girls. Luna is a very special family member with the enormous amount of love and care that she is sharing with the baby. Luna appears to share such a special bond with Callie. Luna is a magnificent cat and deserves all the love. I would love to see how it blossoms over time. I wish them all the happiness in the world.
People don't give cats enough credit for having interaction with with us or family members. I think it's great and as your child grows they will be best pals together. God bless you and your family.
My elderly cat saved my oldest sons life! She never once got into his bed when he was a baby one night she jumped in his bed screaming her head off i got up and he was blue! Luckily i got him breathing again come to find out he had the flu and had a high fever! If it wasn't for my cat nala my oldest wouldn't be here! I am forever thankful for her!
😲
Oh damn
My cat saved me when I was choking on a snack she started to high pitch meow constantly which she never does so my mom rushed her and her name was Nala too! (Idk how you pronounce it but ours is pronounced Nay-La)
@@UnknownVoicezthat’s it i’m naming my next cat Nala
@@aphr0d lol maybe the name will just make a cat affectionate (in reality tho it's based off how there raised)
This is melting my heart❤.
Super sweet. This brings so much joy.💕
Glad the Mama is teaching the baby not to hurt The Kitty Baby.. They are Both Beautiful..🙏💖💖💖✨
Love mom’s sweet voice when talking to both baby and kitty ❤❤❤
She's adorable! True sibling love.
She is lucky having a guardian angel in the form of a cat ❤❤❤
You are such a good Person, I cant stress enough how important it is to teach our Children at a young age to be kind and careful with our Fur Babys, you are such a good caring Person and I am certain your precious Baby will grow up to be just like you,,, kind, caring and loving' Thank you❤
Those two will grow up to be the bestest of friends. I had a cat when i was 2 or 3 and he was my best friend. The one whom was always there for me in the mornings snd was there at the end of the day. He lived to see me graduate from highschool and even saw me get my first job before he passed away.
RIP to your amazing cat. He had to just make sure you were good before he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have a feeling he's there waiting patiently for his best friend.
😭
@@chriswarren8834dont leave him waiting 😭😭
The cat had no idea you were graduating or working
The love between them is great
Cat is so in love and chill for not even reacting to that ear grab n twist.
Thank you for correcting your child from pulling on Luna. I've seen so many videos where the parents dont correct their child from pulling and ragging the pets
She's marking her as hers. I think it's wonderful.❤❤❤
They are going to be bonded for life.
Luna is Bewitched!
That is precious! Never have seen a cat be loving toward a baby like that! So sweet!!❤
Cats are very loving and they love their special human and get very attached and protective of their favorite human specially if that human is a small child, many people don’t understand cats but they have adorable and sensitive feelings, I’ve had cats since I was born and I’m 64 yrs old
There is something special about house panthers. I've had my first one for about 6 years and she is such a blessing.
❤House panthers❤
Luna is gorgeous and Callie is adorable.
This is one of the many reasons why I love cats ❤.
Our black cat loved my infant son as well. 🖤🖤🖤
Luna is a healer..and protector ❤
This is wholesome...I had a black male cat growing up from a very young age( my first cat) and no other cat can be compared to that one cat...It was very affectionate towards me and I miss him so much...Never met a cat as loyal and affectionate like the black cat just yet but the cat I havr right now(only few months old) is becoming bit more like it...I love cats and this video made my day...Thank you❤
Imagine being a Cat and being like 😻 "that human is my size!"
"They got me my very Own Human"😺
😂😂😂
What an adorable pair
Cats love babys
I think they like the
Innocence and the
Smell of the babys.😊❤❤❤😺😻😽😸
*babies
I think they know they need to be protected
Baby smell like milk 🥛 probably
I think cats probably also think human babies are cute. There's a spot in both our brains for us both to really like _their_ babies, there's gotta be something making us really like _our_ babies, too. Right?
Cats absorb stress and Luna doesn't want her baby stressed
LOOOOVE seeing a parent teach their child how to be with pets! too often parents let their kids pull and tug and hit on pets and hurt them. i also love that while she clearly trusts kitty and its clear there's love between kitty and baby, she makes sure she's always supervising them. safe parenting, both pet parent and human parent!
Cats purposefully keep their claws retracted when around babies.
They know how delicate they are.
It's a bond that can't be explained. Luna found her special human.❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
A very tolerant kitty. ❤
Love that mom corrected baby❤ the cats face and the babys smile as she tugged her ear smh lol
This is the most wholesome thing I have ever seen.
Ahhh!! I love that you are letting that bond grow between Luna and the baby!!! So very sweet! ❤❤❤
That cat will protect her as long as she lives.
So keep her with her at all times.
Blessings to you and your family, and enjoy the cat growing with your baby.
No! Never let a cat be near a baby, when the baby is sleeping! Cats like to snuggle too close, sometimes & could accidentally suffocate the baby! Google it. You’ll see that I’m right.
Luna must be her familiar👣❤🐾
Im really glad she doesnt leave her in the crib unintended! Cats have a habit of sleeping on babies faces, which can suffocate them very easily!
This just melted my heart.....
I’ve had a lot of cats throughout my life and it’s the black cats that have a special place in my heart. Idk what it is each of my cats we’re special in their own way but there was just something extra with my black cats 🥰
Yeah, the witches knew what they were doing always choosing black kitties for companions..🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🧹✨🖤😀
I TOTALLY AGREE!! I just lost my bk cat last Friday (RIP 😢 😞 💔, Bear 🐻), and I know there is no replacement for him 😢😢😢. GOD took him 💔 too soon😢. He was SO special and loving ❤️ ❤️ ❤️. I hope to see him Heaven one day 🙏 ❤️ 💙 😊😊❤!!.
1st...they're so cute together. 2nd....mom wasnt freakin out over superstitions about cats & babies. 3rd...mom protected kitty from sweet babies vice grip on its ear.
This was really sweet to watch, thank you.
Cats often bring there baby’s together for a stronger chance of survival, meaning cat is probably seeing this baby as part of her litter or trying to help you with your litter shows how much your cat cares for your family.
I hope that the baby will be healthy thanks to that and won't have allergies in the future.
This is so sweet. Mom seems like she's doing a really good job with her little nugget. She gently corrects her. Love it
Love love when parents teach there kids at early age not to hurt animals & in a nice way
Much love
Oh that is just so sweet.... It's good mum is erring on the side of caution - poor Luna looked so worried when she thought she was gonna get caught illicitly smuggling up to baby - but mum just knows kitty wouldn't hurt baby, even accidentally ❤
That cat is her guardian angel.
Luna understands The Assignment..Beautiful❣️🙏
That is is the sweetest cat i've ever seen. ^^
Luna truly loves that baby girl.
It's definitely a best boy/girl cat ever seen.
keeps the baby warm too
