Thanks for the shout out Jedd. I’d say that “we’re helping each other”.
Thanks to Uncle Larry for introducing you to me.
Here because of Unc too 🤣
You’re a great player and songwriter Jedd 👍🏽
@leftwrite, that Uncle Larry dude is off the chain; both his personality and playing.
Mr Jedd, you speak of being struck by Vince's and Emmylou's and Rodney's stellar songwriting, well young man, you are a stellar songwriter and musician who's time is arriving!
Thank you mate, very kind of you
Killer song. Love it Jedd!

Jim
Thanks Jim! Glad you are here mate
When in Tulsa, be sure to check out The Church Studio, which was owned by the late, great Leon Russell!
Hi from NZ. Jedd, this song is a stunner. Best new song I’ve heard in a while. I ended up making my own at home version and I can’t wait for the real deal. Love it!
Love that song…great vibe! Keep plugging away and finish it up.
Just heard you on Otis Gibbs channel. You are a great breath of real❤ you are a wonderful person. Thank you, in a world of so much anger, you're living proof happy is available if you look....
Beautiful song and guitarplaying. That Martin sounds great.
Watching this in Adelaide , Jedd , keep up the sublime work !
Feels like a lost America song. Love it.
Really enjoying the channel Jedd... thanks to Uncle Larry for introducing me to you in the first place. I lived in Nashville for 14 years, but only discovered you after I moved back to Australia!
Hey Duncan! Thanks for tuning in mate!
Oh yes Otis is one cool mellow dude ❤
@fivewattworld is a great guy. Helped me a ton. Coming to the show tonight, Friday. Can't wait!
@@AskZac hey Zac
Otis is so down to earth, a great interviewer as well as a great singer songwriter. Saw your interview with him and thought it was great!
Im lookin forward to hanging with him more. Great fella for sure
Thanks for all you do Jedd!! Great song!!
Thanks George!
Thank you, buddy. Brightened my day. You have a great sound.
You and your music have such a calming energy and effect on me.
Killer song man. Great lyrics and the hook “ I miss you” is perfect.
That’s great you’re heading out to Drew’s shop. He comes to the philly guitar show. I’ve bought a few really nice guitars from him. Great guy , pleasure to deal with. Plus he’s the best t shirt guy in the business
Had to watch again to listen to your song really good mate
Kieth is a good guy, he lives down the 4 lane a bit from me in W-NY. I listened to Otis every Saturday morning in the shop. He always had a good tail or 2 and is relaxing to listen to. 8) Like his newer format too! I remember the "how I blew off Mark Knophler" story w/Uncle L. LOL Man, what a privilege it would be to play 4 nights w/ Vince! A real "Eagle"!! LOL. Actually, I think I like all his stories the most! He just makes me laugh so many times, that's priceless!! Later mate! 8) --gary
Saw the show at Ryman last night. Epically long 😀, but awesome. Cool to see you getting some RUclips traction. Well deserved. More people should hear you.
Great interview with Otis...really cool chat, thanks for that Jedd.
I spent some time in my 20’s building apartments in Tulsa. So much cool vintage gear floating around that town.
I saw Rodney Crowell perform at my only visit to the Bluebird Cafe many years ago. What a great songwriter! Planning to go back there sometime soon! Neat venue.
Oh man, I love this song. I lived in Monterey and drove to LA to see my girlfriend. The song and the lyrics hit me. You're the best Jedd!
From monterey to east la, dig it.. Miss that california sun and cruising up and down the 101.
Jedd- would be interested to hear about your “typical” songwriting process- lyrics first, melody first, etc. Thanks a lot.
Dear Jedd, this astral projection are very rare you' re lucky to remember that one and turning it into this Beautiful song I really enjoy playing along, love the nice chords and melody ! What's the name of the song ? When you'll be in Tulsa go visit Seth Lee Jones guitar workshop you won't regret it !
Saw that opening night show at the Ryman, absolutely Phenomenal. Can't wait to catch one of your own shows 👍
Just bought one of your shirts from guitar house. 👍
Great song!
LIVING THE DREAM man! love to see it.
Really liking how that song is developing Jedd. It definitely takes me to that place that great songs take you, where you’re inside the music and for a few moments you’re kind of unaware of your surroundings. 👍
You haven’t ever played or sang a note I didn’t like but today was special….great song!
You can never know somebody until you know somebody… But after being in the music business for 35 years, I can tell when some one is truly sweet… You are a truly sweet human being. I appreciate you so much. All of my relatives live in Australia! And I’ve been there many many times… I wonder what it’s like for you to live in Nashville and not in Broken Hill, SA or Manjimup, WA!
such a beautiful song!
Years ago, I was at MerleFest in North Carolina with Harry’s Guitar Shop on behalf of Taylor Guitars. The main stage Saturday night lineup was Nickel Creek, Dolly Parton, and the Sam Bush band. John Randall was playing guitar in Sam’s group. I thought at that time it was the best acoustic guitar performance I had ever heard.
Like your song
Love the sound of your marten
Caught the Otis interview and really enjoyed that. Great tune! ….that one needs to find the light of day.
That intro song! Great! Very interesting to hear you talk about crafting your songs, origins of lyrics like dreams...Please more! Maybe you can take us with you into the different phases in the development of a song. Lyric wise and chords...and how it all interacts. Thanks for your great work! ✌
Salinas, Monterey to LA... back in 2007 I did a USA road trip with 3 aussie and 2 american mates. This great tune took me right back to those fantastic times on the sunny west coast. Greetings from freezing cold Melbourne Jedd!
Greetings from South-East Queensland. Looked up your channel after watching the Otis Gibbs interview. I can't believe that I haven't caught up with your music before. I've got a lot of great music listening ahead of me obviously and I'm looking forward to following your channel. That D-21 sounds epic!
Saw the Thursday night show at Ryman. It was great. 4 hours of pure good. Thx.
Trigger notes! I'm hooked. The way those landed... how'd you do that! Would love an episode in trigger notes for sure. Great stuff, sir!
That song is coming along very nicely, man! It sounds really nice played on that old Martin too. I haven't seen you yet on Otis's channel so I have that to look forward to, which I do.
Yes! Astral Projection, and a dream that lingers in the forefront of your memory without fading is called an an EPIC dream.
It's a great song!
Looking forward to hearing more from you and watching your channel grow.
Have a great weekend of playing !

What a Talent!! Great song, Nice "touch" on guitar (As always). Keep it going dude!!
GREAT SONG
that is a fine song for sure. on par with the best of the early 70s singer songwriter era, which is no small feat ,
I’m taking the Jedd deep dive. Otis Gibbs sent me. Loved the Mark Knopler story. HATED it for you, but damn, kinda funny.
Watching my 3 and 1 year old beautiful children asleep, while listening to your song on headphones just made my day. Thanks Jedd.
Wow, man... you sound great! That is a good song! Happy Friday! Enjoyed the Otis video from earlier. The Mark Knopfler story was funny on Tom's channel! HA!
haha thanks mate!
Man, glad to find your page.
I saw an episode on homeskoolin. Uncle Larry was talking about your uncanny way of finding The Sweet Spot on any guitar. I noticed you just called that sustained note a trigger note.
I would love to hear you elaborate more on that...
Oh, and digging what you're doing!
Enjoyed seeing you on Otis Gibbs' channel. Hope to see more from you both!
Great song! Love it!!
Song is sounding fabulous Jedd!
Thanks Bob
Hey Jedd you may not see this but… you mentioned Emmylou and Rodney and it got me to thinking about the great album “The Travelling Kind”. My fave track is “The weight of the world”. The song the groove is killer, but the solo just knocked me flat! Whoa man…in my world it ranks right up there with Jeff Baxter on “My Old School” and Albert Lee’s solo on the Dave Edmonds track “Sweet Little Lisa”. You’d mentioned on another episode you’d worked on this record but I only just realized that it was you blazing that perfectly created moment.
Wow!
Trigger notes , I like that. I’m gonna steal that one if you don’t mind.
I really love how that song is coming along, the new verse works for me!
Loved hearing you play this week
That was a great interview with Otis!
Thanks Michael!
The song is awesome man. Can’t wait to hear (and purchase) the studio version ;-)
That’s a nice sounding guitar, Jedd. I like when you talk about songwriting. I love when you discuss going from one chord to another in more unconventional ways. Your songwriting and approach have great insights. Thanks, Ian.
Good tune Jedd
Man, great tune!
I hope and pray Jed you Make it Big Time 😅😅😅😅
This is a killer tune thanks man
Man Jedd, I just luv all you do bro!!
That song has feels. You gotta "finish" it.
Great interview with Otis!
That Martin sounds Killer :)
Dude I remember when you first hit the US and I saw you play in Augusta, GA in a few places...had to be around 2002-03...dig your music brother
Damn…., what skill… life goals… Love and respect 🙏 Mr. Hughes
Can’t wait for the Otis interview. Love all his stuff.
Talk about your Super Groups 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤 💯
Mine all forms of your dreams, Jedd!
Have you ever contemplated keeping a dream journal, Jedd -- or a journal in general? It's amazing how many phrases and ideas can be ground for gems -- from ideas birthed in our sleeping, and from our waking mind. You're such a profoundly talented player, Jedd. The flip side of that is your lyrics also need to rise, or a song will be so unbalanced, you'll fall off the stool! I know this isn't anything you don't know, I'm just responding to this video in particular, and your ask for engagement! Cheers.
Introduced to you by Otis Gibbs' channel. Just subscribed.
🧡🧡🧡
Sweet song man!
