@@TruthSurge there are many young guitarsist that still does not know how to play an harmonic in right way on guitar or to made a scale pattern with tapping ... i teached these things even to older guitarist that were supposed to know these van halen licks
@@BlackWolfgang70 aw, thanks. I try! I think I don't want to make how-to guitar vids because I feel there's already a billion of them by now. People just need to settle down and learn their basics along with their fav tunes. Start simple and learn some basics! Good luck!
@@TruthSurge i remember i learned to play message in a bottle of police from one your videos and you pretty good even on playing tapping and van halen ... 100000000 thumbs up for you . I am your italian fan ;)
its all fine and dandy and excellent but where are you going to use this? Not everyone of the average public is going to enjoy this at the bars. Special women who want too dance, not be dazzled by technical difference.
@@MarshallAmpMan these are guitar solos lessons , for hard rock music . If you watch the live without a net eddie van halen guitar solo i don't think people neenee to dance in that moment
These techniques were not designed for club dance bands! If you want to play the dance circuit fine! Then you get paid 50$-100$ a night if you're lucky! Learn 100's of songs... Many quit these dance club circuits because they just don't pay for that reason. These club owners don't understand or care about the cost of equipment and insult your intelligence because of their greed for you to bring your followers to their venues. Been there done that! Paydays are embarrassing! The scene is so much different when playing as an opening act, playing festivals, college concerts, etc. The trick is being versatile and talented enough to know the difference... Go to Nashville and see for yourself how many talented players never get the recognition they deserve... It's a doggie dog business!
@@jeffmcdonald8076 so nice , it means that these nice words are coming from a real musician ( and of course a nice person ) therefore i value all this the most . I haveto say i am liking a lot satriani playing in this tour with sammy hagar and even the drummer they have is amazing ...
@@BlackWolfgang70 Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking satriani. He's just not Eddie Van Halen and he don't have the same feel. Yeah their drummers okay lol 🤣 . I can't toot his horn too much. I've been playing 45 years.
Very well done! I appreciate your examples and the pace at which you share the explanations. Thank you !!
