Yes it was,I really think they totally fucked up 7/9 by putting her together with that fucking face-painted looser freak,at least it fucked up her character for me,and in a way killed my love for both 7/9 and the voyager serie. I really think she should have been put together with the Doctor,because he was really the only one on that ship who really truely loved her for who and what she was.
