Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
I don't know. But Marina Sirtis gets a 10

Tom Hardy did a magnificent job at this role.
He also portrayed, Eddie Brock, Jr., to the letter.
He's scary as fuck in this. That ship too. Everyone's afraid.
Looked as gay as humanly possible too
In what military setting would the two most senior officers leave their ship and go into a dangerous situation together?
Starfleet mutha trucka! I thought you kneeeewww
In Star Trek
imaginary
It's not imaginary. Up until the 19th century, top generals, sometimes kings, lead soldiers into battle. It's called skin in the game. It ensures that a leader won't ask for people to take risks he wouldn't take himself.
Every single star trek episode ever...
He was born in the darkness. Molded by it.
I heard Bane as well. lol
I didn't.

This clip reminded me that I've always wondered why Data wasn't created with built in sensors
Because they would have to be replaced/updated as tech improved.
@@richarddeslonde4402 Data did have upgrades throughout seasons and movies
What an incredibly versatile actor Tom Hardy is. But, let's face it, he's best when he's being threatening.....
Agreed❤
Bronson is my favorite role he’s ever had it felt so raw and authentic
Than I would suggest you watch the whole movie, because he is very threatening and malevolent caracter in this movie.
His character isn't threatening here? I beg to differ
Dude, I genuinely convinced myself it couldn’t be him - he hasn’t aged a day!!
I honestly forgot how compelling and haunting Tom Hardy is in this role. Amazing acting!
Agreed
interesting fact about the movie:
"Hardy was nominated for Best Supporting Actor but lost out to Andy Serkis for his role in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" (c)
The Saturn Awards
This wasn't even close to his first film. They just chose that title to get people to click. I hate when channels like this do that. He was in Tommoso, Get a Grip, Band of Brothers, Blackhawk Down, Deserter then this movie. So you are skipping 5 films for some reason. Well I don't like when people lie to me to get me to do what they want so I'm just going to block this channel. If others do the same maybe they will stop.
I didn’t realize he was in band of bros
band of brothers and few the films you named were after this film.....
@@chrissmith7669 He was the private who was getting him some sack time with a blond freulien while Spears just wanted his silver.
@@GamerKatz_1971 I had no idea. Cool
I first remembers seeing him in Band Of Brothers and Blackhawk Down
Did not realize that was Tom Hardy
Tactical analysis Mr Worf..
A fuck ton of guns and missiles Captain
His first role was black hawk down
His first major role
Band of Brothers ( September 2001) was released before Black Hawk Down (January 2002).... so technically speaking Band of Brothers was his first role.
@@GamerKatz_1971he was in British films prior, like Statham
@@BahnGop Ok then there ya go. Black Hawk Down was still not his first.
@@GamerKatz_1971 if you want to split hairs - Black Hawk Down was a film, Band of Brothers was an HBO series. The video title says first film role.
He's a beast! Love all his roles!
Agreed❤
0:54 = I know that Epic voice from ANYWHERE, ...that's Ron Pearlman!
I'm wondering if No Man's Sky got any inspiration from this movie, the warbird looks strikingly similar to a sentinel interceptor if it was the size of a freighter.
That game’s kind of an amalgamation of a lot of Sci-fi properties, so I wouldn’t doubt it
It wasn’t his first role. His debut was in black hawk down (2001)
Was this a younger version of the Captain Picard? Is that why he looks like he's seen a ghost?
@-user_ye7sm1kt1d wel shi xzonnus scthuky a clone of Picard but h hes younger clone so yes he youngervoicard 😊
Yep hes a Picard clone the Romulans meant to use against the federation but the plan was scrapped and he was instead sent down in the mines of Remus.
Yes. He's a clone of Picard.
He is a clone

You fight like a younger man with nothing held back. Admirable but mistaken
Why does he remind me of Dr Evil?
Came here to find this comment. Thanks. You did not disappoint.
Star trek was simply spellbinding, I wouldn't trade it's role in my childhood for anything else.

I heard some Baine coming out. 😂❤

Never thought this skinny kid would be one of my fav actors of all time. Time was flown so fast!
Into him since day one 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 one of my favorite Star Trek Movies
Agreed❤
Nemesis is my favorite Star Trek film, and his acting in this film is one of the highlights
First film role was in Black Hawk Down 2001. Star Trek Nemesis was 2002
Tom Hardy's first film role is playing Twombly in Black Hawk Down. You can already tell that he's gon be good.
His first film role was actually in Black Hawk Down.
No it wasn't BLACK HAWK DOWN 2001!
Turns out the younger tom hardy is the better his english got. Most roles he doesnt seem to talk that much because of his accent. Yet in this role he spoke very fluently.
At around 1:30 the music almost echoes the fight music from the original series. Kinda cool, imho.
Never watched it before, and even through all that makeup, you could see Ron Pearlman
Fun fact: both Patrick Stewart and Tom Hardy ended up being in Marvel movies.
Xavier and Venom.
Talent should be rewarded and celebrated. These two are incredible actors! ☺️
At this point, it would be easier to count the actors that DIDN'T end up in Marvel movies at one point or another.
Not together
"Fun fact"
I never saw this movie, but SOLD. In my queue for tonight.
wish he wasn't so antisocial on the set but he did great in this movie
TLDW: Tom Hardy doesn't appear in this video until 2:19.
Tom Hardy was in black hawk down a year before this.😊
I didn't even realize this! This was an amazing role!
As good as Tom Hardy was, i still think they should have had Patrick Stewart play both roles.... he would have been a superb villain and it have more impact on the film.
Despite heavy makeup I had no doubt thats Perlman, he's instantly recognizable
He is comfortable in the dark, alright. He was molded by it.
By the 4:15 second mark the human eye would have been able to tell what his face looked like. I hate it when movies assume eyes pick up on differences in light like celluloid film does or a camera sensor does.
Movies and tv shows never follow the true rules of science. Do you think the Incredible Hulk and Tony Stark are real? Of course not 😂
@@tulip9146 So by your logic any movie with fantastical elements is good, so long as you go into the movie accepting those fantastical elements? No, it doesn't work that way. Just because you're willing to suspend your disbelief for the impossible (FTL Travel, Time Travel, Magic, perpetual energy), it doesn't mean you're not gonna resume your disbelief for the possible. I know what you're trying to do, you're trying to make me look foolish and unreasonable, but if anyone is foolish and unreasonable it's you, dick. It doesn't matter if a movie is about vampires or transformers or wizards, or whatever fantastical element one can think of. All movies are bound by logic, human nature, probability, and the lore the movie/franchise established. It's not enough that something is possible in a world of the impossible, it has to be probable.

Yes Sr... you kinda did
So he wasn't in Black Hawk Down a year earlier 🤔
Did not know that was Tom. I thought he was just some unknown bad actor stand in at the last minute.
By the way. Tom's Warbird is a powerful MOD to play in Star Trek Bridge Commander PC Game. Lot's of fun piloting that ship in space battles against Federation ships.
Bad actor? He was nominated for an Academy Award for this role.
No, this wasn't Tom Hardys' first movie role!
Evil, but so pretty
Yes❤
THAT WAS HARDY???? And his first role too?! Holy shi!
LD50 Lethal Dose. A bad movie with scary spice in it. I worked on it at Pinewood Studios. The old geezers said ‘watch him, he’s going to be somebody’
For those that don't know, the reason Picard and Hardy's character are so connected is because they were gay lovers in an episode in season 6 of TNG.
I dont think it was his first film role, he was filming in another country before he got the call for this.
This actually isn't his first film role. That'd be as SPC Lance Twombly in Black Hawk Down, in 2001.
I didn't necessarily hate Nemesis when I first watched it, but more likely it just felt... unnecessary, just like Insurrection before it.
When the acting severely outclasses the costumes. It's like the crew actors realized they had to step up their game for this new blood on set. Makes me want to watch the movie again.
Tom Hardy played in another movie yrs before this one about a legionnaire who befriends an English boy who joins the lwgion and yvey are deployed to Algeria. Cant remember the name.. Was a good movie though.
wow, at first I thought he was goofy looking, but Tom's performance made it actually feel menacing.
I remember when he came on screen I was actually blown away at his on screen face acting without saying words. So sinister, so diabolical, he acted amazing in this movie that my uncle who took me to see this in theaters bought the DVD. Such an amazing memory.
I hope you'll forgive the darkness, .... you merely adopted the dark, I was born in it, molded by it,
Tom got the Allen Rickman treatment here, and also they should of put the Picard wig on Tom it would of been hilarious and a fun call back
The 'Riker pivot' was well-done here.
He was like, "Don't make me f-ck you up on your own ship."
Charles Xavier and Venom are meet each other in the multiverse
Yet, you and English are foreign to each other, though you seem to speak it.
Fascinating and illogical.
Love the old Star Trek stuff cried a little when data sacrificed himself the ultimate human thing to do
I thought Band of brothers was before Star Trek.
Its Sean Atwood!
Sure they would send first and second in command. Also. Darkensess and light? Very bane.
This actually the first time I noticed Tom and how good he was .
He elevated this otherwise mediocre Trek entry.
I find it hilarious that it took this clip telling me it was Tom Hardy - to realize that Viceroy is Ron Perlman
I always love my lighting raised up by 4 levels. That's the sweet spot!
no way.......
this never cross my mind because the only bald man i know only patrick steward
Not really the first - one year prior, Hardy starred in "Black Hawk Down" as Lance Twolby.
Where can I watch nemesis without paying or using putlockers???
At first glance I thought this was a Hellraiser origin story on young pinhead.
I never realized after watching that movie many times that Tom Hardy was the actor playing that role .
I thought he was going to be some weird dude that never met other humans
He kinda looks like Solas here :D
Hardy is just an excellent actor. Even back then. Very good here.
Omfg I remember this I had no clue this was hardy.
No wonder he got to be such a great actor.
It's Dr. Evil!
Actually Black Hawk Down was his first movie role.
Actually Tom Hardy had a roll before this. It was in the mini series Band of Brothers.
His first film role was Band of Brothers. His first movie was Black Hawk Down.
Might want to check out Blackhawk Down
He looks like a mixture of Adam driver, and that one guy who played the mummy here lol
I was delightfully surprised to see him! And he killed that role! Also his armour is really cool!
I mean his shoulder pads looked better than Trump/Harris debate female monitor did.
And Ron Perlman as viceroy
Venom, xavier, and reinhardt from blade 2. Three marvel actors.
Pretty sure his first film role was black hawk down the previous year.
Fun fact: Nothing good came of them listening to Picard when he told them not to activate shields
He was in black hawk down which came out the year before this, both great films
was this a movie or an episode on a tv show? i don´t remem er exactly
No it wasn't ..that was in black hawk down...do your research...prat ...
Hardy appeared in Black Hawk Down one year prior to Nemesis.
"Let the games begin! "
The AWESOME Jerry Goldsmith's last Star Trek score.
Ironic that it was almost like the Bane scene " I was born in darkness"
İ don't Agree. His first movie Black Hawk Down.
Tom Hardy was in Black Hawk Down a year before this appearance.
