    I remember someone saying that BB King can say more in 3 notes than what other musicians would need in 7 notes. BB was always known for his brevity and pauses.

    This one is really good for advice as well as building a solo. Thank you for saying that it's not about how many notes you play, but rather what you say with the notes you do play...making sense with your playing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Cause I don't play fast. Whew!!! what a relief.

    What flute model do you use for jazz?

    • @DrDavidandJudiKlee
      @DrDavidandJudiKlee  5 лет назад +2

      Hi!!
      For years I was using a 10k Brannen-Cooper Flute with a 14k Lillian Burkart head joint. I have recently switched to a Powell 9k Aurumite Conservatory flute because I like the better response its gives me. I am currently doing more orchestral than jazz and I like the darker tone the Powell is giving me. David

    One quick question- can I play jazz on bansuri?

    • @davidklee1163
      @davidklee1163 Год назад +1

      You can play jazz on almost any instrument or voice. You just might have to adjust what notes you use depending on what notes are available on the instrument-could even play the pentatonic scale. DK
