Am really late but I only just finished this game today and came on RUclips to see what the shape message was all about. I’m glad I found the answer through your video. Given what the game was about, it feels right to share these last moments of it with other players who were as touched by the game as I was.

The games are quite different on the surface but this entire segment of talking to people about their feelings and their game was a callback to Doki Doki Literature Club.

I think the code is different for everyone
My shapes are different
I think everyone gets a different pattern of shapes (mine were also not the same) what matters is what the shapes are.
Each shape seems to have a corresponding “cannon colour” if that makes sense.
Hearts represent pink/top left
Triangles represent red/top
Suns represent orange/top right
Stars represent yellow/right
Waves or Small Swirls represent green/bottom right
Tears or Water Drops represent turquoise/bottom
Moons represent blue/bottom left
Big Swirls or Circular Swirls represent purple/left

I did the exactly same thing what you did, but the password didn't work and I don't know why. 😿
The password is actually different for every game, and a couple of the symbols are really tricky.

I have tried over and over again, but I can’t seem to get it right. Do you have to get it right the first time each time you see him? Do I have to keep resetting to try and get it right each time? I’m so frustrated at this point.
If you're talking about the password, it changes depending on the copy of the game. I think the game's wiki has a page explaining how to do it.
It's a super frustrating thing to get.

Was that the code I used to access the post game secret? You’re supposed to be able to see the code in the end credits.
