Z Reviews hello from Puerto Rico! Do you know if there are a problem with the dt770 pro sound in the actual models?
The $64.000 question is: WILL AXPONA ACTUALLY HAPPEN IN AUGUST??? I ask because I reside in the communist state of Wisconsin where the governor is keeping us inside for at least another month and a half. By August, I will be 65 years old and it will probably be illegal for me to still be alive, as I have nothing to offer the state than only being an audiophile.
So here we are in Oct, any luck on the Axpona?

Triangle was found by a guy that wanted big soundstage, the goal has always been to create big soundstage, to make the speakers disappear (and to give the best sound reproduction of the voice, by using paper cones). And you feeled it so they have succeeded. (sorry for my english, i do my best)

They are excellent. Big fan of Triangle. French designed speakers are amazing.
The guy wanted more than "big soundstage".
He wanted "spatialisation" (soundstage + instrumental separation).
And yes the brand definitely did it.
Once you see the 2 ports and Triangle logo as 2 eyes and a mouth you can't unsee it. 😂

I had a pair of Celius 202 Triangles that I really loved. The sound when paired with tube amps, my hobby is monoblocks that I build from scratch was lucious. They also did very well with an Edge model M.. wow is all I muttered many times. Am in the market for these as I have a pair of 6H30 amps that will be an excellent pairing. Thanks for the video, well done.

On amazon or massdrop or apos. They let me keep the borea and AIO so if I sell those it may pay for groceries a few times. BUT if those higher up bookshelves hit me with the PP hard and I end up paying to keep them.. That is the wrong type of cut, down the road sort of cut.

Seems like Triangle has improved a lot.. I auditioned a pair of floorstanders some years ago (I believe it was the Color series) and they were not great
Trianlge were always good. The Colour Series were just cheap and nasty.

the stereo image is by the woofer imo because i just listened to the Triangle Color (special edition) (netherlands market only unfortunately), only the woofer is similar, and they had the same voodoo in the imaging, they outperformed even the 2000 dollar/speaker Fyne audio in imaging details and balance
Try “Pneuma” - Tool for a test track for mids. It’s one of the best sounding . You’ll love it!
Locking banana plugs are super nice. That's the reason I dislike banana plugs - they always seem loose/non-secure compared to bare wire.
You can usually put the banana in the raw wire hole and clamp it down also. Usually.
I have the QED Airlock ones and they go in so tight that you could pull a speaker around with them if it was light enough.

first off , your approach it's like settling down and listening to a good story , don't go changing , which isn't possible , anyway i listened to this review , agreed , then i searched for your diy Swan's sound demo , the dome midrange and ribbon tweeter together make such a convincing argument , i think i'd rather have them.

just hope its not sound quality compromised since its a wall mount, still looks like a normal speaker, just not very deep.

How do these compare to Klipsch RP-600m? Could get those for 360$ versus Comète EZs for 720$ (in Europe).
I've been using my Triangle Comete speakers with a Cayin A-50T Tube Amp since 2010. Cost me $1200 for the lot brand new.
Ok I've watched Event Horizon, now watch "The Most Toys" (Star Trek Next Generation) S3 E22 and watch Fajo do an impersonation of Zeos.

I own these. No issues. It's just pure joy. Like eating ten gallons of vanilla ice cream without the the consequences of my own actions.

I bought these secondhand for $250. GREAT sounding speakers with my Atoll IN30 (which I found used for $100). Unfortunately I wasn’t able to place them proberly, so sold them off with a nice profit. This review makes me miss them though 😄

Don't put them upside down, just forget about the ikea table, stands on the floor, and get some isoacoustics aperta stands or something, they will sound even better

Just go to France LOL. Lots of hidden speaker brands there. Just don’t hype them up like Zeos. The prices will only go up when the overly enthusiastic Americans get involved.
How does this compare to the Legacy HD monitors? Similar price and specs are better with Legacy but I would like your opinion on listening comparison. I like these speakers so far. I want to stay under $1,600 a pair for the best bookshelf.
What amp do you have - what size room - What type of music ? If you have a low powered amp then the Triangles will destroy the Legacy HD Monitors with their dynamics alone and massive soundstage. If you listen to highly compressed rock / pop recordings and have an amp or amps with plenty of power then it might start to even out. But overall they are entirely different speakers - not a matter of one being better or worse - totally different applications. The Triangles like being in free space as well - they can get thunderous if close to a wall.
Z you have to review tannoy revolution xt series speakers, they have a similar tweeter going on except in a coax driver. Tannoy may look like your grandma's furniture but they don't sound like it.
I'm on the fence regarding Kef R3, these Triangle's and building a set of Philharmonic BMRs. Your videos are great but really haven't helped. Any insight?
Philharmonic BMRs will become a cult classic. Can't go wrong if they are mint and good price. Between Triangle and Kef, I'd do Triangle.

@@jamest1973 Can't go wrong. I thought about these years ago but didn't mainly because of size. The Focal 807Ws, while not small, gave me everything I needed soundwise. Can't go wrong with a Philharmonitor, now a classic.

I wonder if that would be a nice upgrade and a more balanced option from the rp-600m. I like the wave guide it helps to bring music to life at low listening volume in the bedroom but if you crank it up it becomes too shouty for my taste.

Who can explain what the sliding sound when No Sleep Till Brooklyn comes on is?! I had something similar happen on my klipschs when I had tweeked movong them around and there was a nice vibration in my ear drum that also happened at the same time, then I moved them a little more and have never gotten it come back haha.
These speakers play loud AF, until the shit hits the fan and then they surrender.

All speaker change, these would have less issue with low end due to the port placement. I would still never put a speaker ON a wall, breathing room is always better.

They're really not. I listened to them for about 12 hours non stop. I've only had them for 2 days so probably not even sounding their best yet. I find them to be extremely detailed, full, crystal clear and zero listening fatigue.Aimed directly at me approximately 8ft away. Absolutely fantastic speakers.

They are not THAT small, But the front port would still work closer. Basic speaker placement principles still apply.
With your windows recessed you should play them as close to the glass but put some wadding behind they would work well in that position
