I auditioned them both today at the store, it was difficult to say who is the better one. The bro3 has less quality of the cabinet, but they sound just as good as the comete ez.

Very nice easy to understand comparison. I have the 30th Anniversary Cometes with crossover upgrades and am astounded by them daily. Would be neat to hear the bro’s sometime.

I also have the 30th Ann Cometes - can you describe what your upgrade involved please. I am happy with them as they are, but am curious to know what other owners have done with their speakers

I actually found that I preferred the sound of the BR03's soft-dome tweeter than the comete's

How does the Triangle sound vs. B&W “sound”? I have the CM8 S2.

I'm interested in an all in one system with a streamer/DAC/amp. Would the bluesound powernode 2i pair well with the triangle BRO3. Or would you recommend another streamer/DAC/amp? My budget is between $1500-$2000, feel free to recommend another pair of speaker and streamer.

Stephane Cherduville the bluesound could be a pretty good match for the BR03. I’ve heard them paired with B&W 606s, their sound is pretty good for the price, but i think they don’t have a rich tonality compare to Hegel H190 or Naim.

What do you think about Esprit Titus EZ vs BR03? Which is better? Is it worth to buy Titus?

That Comete looks beautiful! great video man. There are only 2 RUclips videos reviewing the Comete ... yours and the one from Z reviews. Since I can't audition the Comete these videos are all I got lol. I have the BR03 also.. but it's hard to decide if the Comete is worth the upgrade (Here in Canada BR03 is 650$ and High Gloss Comete is 1900$). How do you compare them to your Burchardts ? S300 / S400 the one you mentioned in your video, buchardt is also a pair I am considering S300 is around the same price point as the Comete. Anyhow, I appreciate the video, I don't understand Cantonese but I watched your Cantonese version of this anyways LOL

    • @skysreviewdesk
      @skysreviewdesk  4 года назад +3

Bun C if you really like the instrument sound of the BR03, Comete Is the way to go, I really like that too, the buchardt S400, in my opinion, is totally opposite, if you like the sound of triangle, I don’t think buchardt will fit you, although I didn’t listen to the s300, but I assume they are same sound signature to the s400, my next video will be s400 review, and after that is comparison of kef R3, buchardt s400, and Comete EZ, I would highly suggest you watch the comparison video before you make the final purchase, it is my goal to help out people make their right choice.

@@skysreviewdesk Nice, I love Kef sound, I own a few pairs from them. The reason I am interested in the s400 is for the sound stage, dynamics and imaging, I read they are very good at those, s300 for the insane bass. Oh yeah, I checked out the tunehifi webpage. Nice page, too bad no online store, I don't mind buying internationally as long as the prices, conversions, and customs combined, are less expensive than buying here in Canada. So I'm always shopping around. Will be awaiting your next video.

Great job. I am interested in a desk top set using BR02, Vanatoo Encore, and Wharfedale which i see on your desktop. Any guidance including amps would be appreciated because i live in Costa Rica and not able to demo in person.

Hey man. I actually just got the Br02 for my desktop setup. I've paired it up with a Marantz Pm5005 intergrated amp with the SMSL SU-8 DAC.
Its a pretty good speaker but you gotta make sure that your desk setup is not near a wall as the Br02 has a rear firing port. My desk was initially near a wall but I thought if I moved it a few inches away from the wall, it would be fine BUT I was wrong. The bass was extremely muffled and boomy.
So I had to move my desk completely away to have it in an open space, away from the wall, so that the sound is able to open out. Additionally, I also realised that positioning for this speaker is REALLY important. You'd need to angle it so that the speakers are facing directly at you so that you can get the full range of the highs and lows coming at you. Also, you gotta ensure that the speakers are on level with your ears. Will reccomend to get a stand on your desk for the speakers if your desk does not have a raised platform.
Apart from that, I love these speakers. They're definitely an upper level entry level product. Love watching movies and listening to music with these - especially acoustic songs, the speakers produce so much detail it blows my mind.

HiddenFilms thanks for the info. I ended up buying an NAD 3020v2 with the Triangles for the desktop. I put them on yoga blocks until my stands arrive and simply put socks in bass ports to reduce boominess. For my ears, it sounds really good for a desktop and the reviews about the Triangles soundstage are not hype. They are great even with poor quality audio from RUclips.

One thing I want to ask, does these triangles boreas do depth ? Like the Adam t5v monitors do depth, depth is also important for me along with soundstage, don't want flat soundstage, also you have JBL lsr i think so you would get what I am talking about

    • @skysreviewdesk

I totally know what you talking about, I would say the Borea do depth, but not a lot, compare to the comete, Comete does more noticeable depth.
