I managed to buy one of the few that made it into my country, specifically the Mark 1 variant. Slapped an Elcan C79 optic on it to complete the look. If you're alright with proprietary magazines, and the fact your standard pouches won't fit .308 mags, the gun is great. GBBR-tier trigger response, accurate and powerful but lightweight, and the gun sounds flawless while firing. This gun is pretty much perfect out of the box that you'll really just need accessories to tailor it to your style.
This gun is so nice, original, and the noise of the gun is very clean...i ordered one, two days ago, can't wait to have it!! With my CMF-16, i'm very satisfied of my setup :) G&G
Awesome video my favorite part was the shooting down range and RGKs review, it was funny ! That fire selector was way too indecisive it was chilling in that semi safe position
For all looking at these guns the gearbox is hella fuckin built, everything you would want is there and very tech friendly. Put a perun etu++ mosfet with it and it is perfect
I'm actually in the process of putting together a cyma 308 SBR. I can tell you that my reasoning for it is simply because no one else locally has one. I honestly think that's the only reason for it in airsoft.
Why? Don't think of it as a DMR - think of it as a Battle Rifle-based carbine. Yes I know it's airsoft and all BB's are the same caliber, but airsoft is like 80% fashion anyways. Funny thing is, I was actually looking at getting an M110 to build something like this!

But to Cisco its certainly seems to. He has stated in a roast my build that you can have a m4 shoot at 450 to 500 fps and it would never be a dmr. So as I directed a question only at Cisco to learn if the caliber irl truly mattered to him.

556 is a much smaller round. 308 is larger and is effectively longer ranged irl. SO. Would it be a dmr?
IRL caliber means nothing in airsoft. Only thing that makes it a DMR is the upgrades needed to make accurate shots at 300 feet
