The price for all of the upgrades you get out of the box is game-changing. Not saying that higher-end manufacturers are bad, but the Arcturus comes with a tight bore inner barrel, a micro-switch trigger, and a very well assembled gearbox out of the box with high-end internal parts. The polymer versions are around $150 and full metal versions are in the $200 price range! High-end companies really have something to compete with considering most of them are about $300 with 6.06mm inner barrels. There is now an option to get a really good performing gun out of the box at a much more affordable cost!

I've been looking for one so I can attach this ar15 platform drum mag,a front grip flashlight,red dot ,mock suppressor,and buttstock cover even a small springer would do...

Pretty sure at least the external is not built by ZCI. I think the most impressive part of Arcturus polymer M4 is the Polymer. The polymer used is real steel grade DuPont stuff. It’s very stiff, heat resistant and durable. Lower receiver buffer tube mount uses cnc metal inserts, making it much tougher than any polymer receiver I’ve ever seen in airsoft.
I don't see all the hate for m4s. They are a great starting gun and look cool in my opinion.

That's similar to an ICS Hop up unit, even the retention spring. it's one of my favorite features of ICS guns.
I bought this gun like a year ago and when it arrived I tested it ... there was something wrong with the trigger ( when shooting on semi trigger doesnt react every 5th/10th shot). I heard that this is a very common problem with these so just beware. Sent it back to the store and dudes there fixed it so now its good. Overall best low end AEG rifle.

@@tylerfouts9550 I know its not cheap but thats airsoft. When is say low end I mean AEG that is built with good materials and internals for lowest price possible.

I think I have that problem as well with the ny02 cq, you just have to pull the trigger firmly and then it'll fire
mine does the same thing but not that often mainly if I fire very fast in semi

Same here. Bought one as my starter rifle and so far couldn't be happier) Ran into few small issues, but they were easily fixable.

@@anthonyknight170 depends on the stock but if it's like mine, you take the lever u usually push towards the gun to extend the stock, and pull it away from the gun then you can take it off
Hey how could I go about putting a flat trigger in? Would I need a whole new micro switch trigger unit? Is it possible?
I got one of these rifles, the mag release is horrible, the mags rarely lock in, but when it does lock in everything is good

Is the sling plate installed correctly? I always thought it is installed where the curves go towards the receivers, not the other way round
Curving towards the stock is the correct way, used a few real ar15's and they all had it that way

Do the M4s take high cap mags? I would assume so but I really am not sure.
Yep! I wouldn't recommend Lancer Tac mags though, I picked up an extra hi and mid because they were cheap and they fit extremely tight. CA has some great metal mags that would work fantastically with these rifles and give them a little more heft in the midsection.

Do they include the original flash hiders that come with them in other parts of the world or just the orange bird cage?
I purchased mine through Airsoft Atlanta because it's just down the road from my place and it did come with a CNC aluminium black powder coat flash hider, though it is not a standard M4 flash hider, it's about 1mm narrower and 8 mm longer without the ribbed contact points. If you're looking to attach a QD mock suppressor, I'd pick up a standard steel ribbed M4 flash hider.
Is the nyo3cq m4 TM Compatible?
My AR01 has thoroughly stripped handguard threads straight out of the box. Kinda makes me worried about their QC.
I have a question I hope I get an answer for it, the high end line is it lipo ready? Can I use an 11.1 with 20 c ?

i have an arcturus AT-NY03-CQ and it would help a lot if you guys could answer that, can i use a 11.1 lipo battery in it without any internal upgrades?
I have the exact same model as yours. Due to the internals being good enough I believe you can use a 11.1 Lipo. I am currently using a 7.4 v which is recommended. Currently I have upgraded my m4s motor to a SHS high torque motor and I have also upgraded my barrel. Those are upgraded that do not require any work with the gearbox.
It works fine with those, but it shortens the gun's lifespan in the long run

I think so. Just research the mosfet you want to get and you should be good

You have to wiggle the gearbox out a little from the body. Then its just a quick change spring system

Oh cool. Just got mine in a couple hours ago!! As I'm looking at it, there's a few neat little features im just noticing that aren't mentioned in most reviews.
1: The hop up dial has numbers etched into it. Hard to see but they're there. (In my 70 foot backyard, I found around 9 to be the best with .25s)
2: Most reviews say you have to remove the whole stock for battery access. You canactually just remove the rubber butt pad if that's the version you have. I was able to fit a 9.6v nmah nunchuck battery this way.
3) Though you get two flash hiders, the orange one is still glued in, even after taking out the tiny screw with a little allen key :/

@@smileydog5941 it’s my favorite m4 I’ve owned so far!! Just push in pretty firm on the dust cover. You must first release the bolt with the release paddle.
why does ur ROF sound so snapy compare to the other same model as the AR15?

Youll need a mosfet if you want to stop worrying about trigger contacts. Look into optical mosfets for best performance

Those aren't "empty slots", they're mlok slots. You can buy mlok type attachments or can get mlok to Picatanny adapter pieces if you want to use standard attachments.
Should I get this or a Krytac?
Krytac or VFC Avalon. Either one is going to be your best bet.

Ironic, I recently picked up a BOLT M4 just b/c I wanted their AEG recoil. I received the most compliments on the field b/c my M4 was classic lol I guess they mean standard no frills with carry handle. Honestly I am not at all excited anymore when I see M4's, it's like trying to wow me with a Honda. I'd rather see period piece airsoft guns, sci-fi mock ups, and other out of the ordinary body styles. B/c face it, if you actually play Airsoft you have an M4 or an AK and you like what you have. Your side arm is a Glock, M1911, or an M9. That's all been done. Let's get unique!
I recently got my starter rifle. I wanted to be unique, but... ANYTHING that is not M4 or AK is either more expensive, has some durability/compatibility issues, not available in my country or all of the above. So, to be unique currently you need to either drop much more money on your rifle, or also put a lot of work into upgrading it right away.
Just bought the LC-3 and it cost me almost 400USD for a proper G3 platform. Unique costs more to make due to the differences in manufacturing as well as R&D.
My first guns were G36C and a MP5, but after a while of using them, I just now am unboxing my Arcturus M4😂
