I no longer recommend buying Meepo boards, and I'm not linking to them on my channel. If you would like to know why, you can watch my review of all of the issues I've had here: ruclips.net/video/qXOF2Iiwskg/видео.htmlsi=K06kUWIoZbxIQC72
⚡ *Meepo went for Hobbywing ESC on this and it is silky smooth!* ⚡ Nice to see a belt drive board on the channel, havin full urethane is great, and the ability to put quality Orangatang wheels 👌🏼 Envy is an awesome board and I hope they continue to put Hobbywing ESCs on their new boards. I hope they send you a Meepo Flow, same controller and battery size but double kingpin, so much fun once you dial in the trucks to your preference.
I have a question Ronan. Got my first board this week (im 44 and havent skated since i was 14!) Getting comfortable in a car park i felt better riding goofy (i cant remember what i rode as a kid). However goofy puts my back to traffic when i ride on the road. Should i try and learn to ride regular? It doesnt feel very safe not being able to see cars until they're already passing me.
Hey. Where are you based? I’m in Dublin, and ride regular so I can see cars. I’m pretty sure Casey Neistat rides goofy through NYC… so I’m sure it can be done. I think what I’d say is maybe try to get comfortable with regular while you’re still in the car park and see if that’s ok. If you can do that then great, that’s your problem solved. Otherwise, I’d say to be very mindful if you’re on the road. I always glance back before I overtake, and I do it a bit just to check if there’s any traffic coming my way. Especially if I’m at a spot where there might be traffic on both sides. I also never use headphones or earphones when I’m riding. I think if your careful, riding goofy shouldn’t be a problem.
@@ronanhutchinson Manchester, so goofy seems to be a problem with driving on the left mainly. Imagine it's an advantage in the US. I'll see if I can get used to regular somewhere away from traffic. I did try both for a while and neither felt terrible, I just found I could turn tighter goofy and didn't get as tired.
Interesting that you didn’t get as tired riding goofy. Yeah, we drive on the left here too, so I totally understand your concerns. I think if you can get comfortable enough riding regular, that’s probably the easiest solution for you. But if you have to ride goofy on the roads, I really don’t think that it’s an insurmountable problem. You’ll just need to be extra vigilant of your surroundings when you’re cruising. Either way, I hope you’re having a fantastic time on your new board!
@@ronanhutchinson thanks. Mostly planning on riding off the roads in parks and cycle paths and such anyway, but the nearest one is a mile of road away. And I'm no fan of carrying 10kg of board a mile! My other problem is a live at the top of a big hill, so if I leave home with a full battery I don't have brakes! Not sure there's an answer to that than ride around my home until I've cleared some capacity for sustained braking.
@TheAegisClaw I know what you mean. I wouldn’t fancy carrying a 10kg board a mile away either… I’ve never experienced not having brakes when the board is fully charged. All my boards have engaged their brakes even at 100%. So it might be worth testing that - but not on a steep slope! I am aware of the warnings about brakes not working on a full charge. So if you are testing it, I’d say be careful.
Hi thanks for watching. I actually have had issues with this board. I’ve a video coming in a few weeks detailing them all. The big one was that one of my trucks snapped while I was riding. Hopefully your Voyager will be fine though. I had a really bad rattle for months before it actually broke 😞😞
Hey! I hope you enjoy your Voyager. I’ve just made a video about all the issues I’ve had with my Meepo boards. You can check it out here if you’re interested: ruclips.net/video/qXOF2Iiwskg/видео.htmlsi=11cdcZFckVAD5ZXE I’ve never used a Voyager though, so hopefully you won’t run into any of the problems I’ve had 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yeah I’m SO impressed with how smooth the Envy is. It’s a really great board for cruising!
Great review Ronan! Love this board! Love the meepo product
Thanks Drew! Yeah, it’s SUCH a fantastic board! I’m so impressed with it.
Decent board mate ! 🤙
Hey Reece! Yeah, it’s a LOT of fun.

I've been looking at this as my first board. But shipping takes so long.
Yeah, i ended up ordering the Tynee Ultra because of that.
Yeah, shipping can take a while, but it’s TOTALLY worth the wait! It’s an amazing board. Especially at this price.
The Tynee Ultra looks like a great board too! How long did you have to wait on shipping for it?
@@ronanhutchinson I only ordered it yesterday, I'll tell you when it arrives. They claim 2-8 days.
Awesome! I can’t wait to hear what it’s like when it arrives!
Any issues with this one? I just order a Voyager
