Great how to! Very well and confidently presented.
I waited so long for your next video!!! Your videos are awesome.
Nice video, one of the best homemade smokers I've seen... also good tip on the tape packaging to make a seal with the intake-- Thx
Great video! Love seeing a young dude with an appreciation for BMWs and McGyver skills. Keep 'em coming.
Great video as always!
Excellent explanation!
Great video my friend, a lot learned
Good video thank you for the info that was very helpful I got a problem in my 1999 Expedition air leak but I will find it with this machine that you made thank you so much good good job
Fantastic video
Smart young fella.
Great idea. You could use smoke pellets instead of burning oil. Makes it easier and safer. Get them from a plumbing supplier.
Great Video, Is there a way you post the list of item a person will need to make a smoke machine, right now, I have 2 empty coffee cans and small paint cans, Thanks
great video man! good camera quality and angles. little dark at times but very professional looking. I'm gonna try your method because the video is clear start to the very finish.
thank you
,👍very good idea.
genius!
Take your brake boost hose off and go through there, it goes straight to the throttle body.
I thought you'd left YT!
What kind of issues did you had driving?
Good video one question the car is not running correct
No it isn’t.
Hey there, I had a couple questions; why didn’t you use dry-ice? Does it have adverse effects on the intake system?
+Michael Carr Dry ice "smoke" dissipates too quickly for this purpose; that's because it's actually water vapor. Also this is cheaper :)
Thanks.
did you find the pin that holds the flap onto the Disa?
+Phillip Long Yes! It's designed in a way that it's impossible for the pin to fall out while the DISA is installed. The only time it can fall out is during removal so I was extra careful.
that's good to know. I have been meaning to check mine just to see how it's doing but I haven't yet, anytime somebody mentions the Disa I get worried lol.
Just vape into the intake.
thanks:DDDD
that's all I did
great vid i ll do it next week end with ping pong balls :D
what's a disa?
+Bill Cornelius DISA stands for the German “Differenzierte Sauganlage” which basically means Differentiated Intake, and it is often called an Intake Manifold Adjusting Unit.
Pardon my ignorance, can anyone tell me what a desa is??
Mike Harley don’t feel bad, I didn’t know either, I don’t own a BMW. Google says...
The DISA valve is a component situated in many BMW intake manifolds, and is vital to the smooth operation of the engine. DISA stands for the German “Differenzierte Sauganlage” which basically means Differentiated Intake, and the valve for it is often called (at least in our catalog) an Intake Manifold Adjusting Unit.
don't feel bad i never heard of it either.
You are not affluenctial
I feel stupid because I never thought of this.. Great idea, thanks!
Hi. I have question. My BMW E39 252d while push some more acceleration make smoke after me. It's realy bad for people after me. It can be that I have some vacuum leak? I change turbo this year for another reason. can you help me and say some tips what can be the problem? Thx in front. BTW. Your videos are Great!
Trying to make a smoke machine is like trying to make your kids go to bed. It's a pain in the ass and doesn't always go well.
Not bad, vacuum leaks suck
