Man, I loved this season so much, flaws and all. I don’t care what people say. I got so attached to the characters
The body count of that last scene is SO INSANE!
Paul showed up big time in this episode.
There’s a lot of moving pieces in this season. Trying to do 4 main characters couldn’t have been easy to write.

Watching it back, I can't help but still feel that what this show really needed was... someone other than Vince Vaughn.
Personally I think this season could have been an episode or two longer all the way through just to have time to explore the side characters more... The story is there just needed more time

This season might be terrible overall but at least it gave us Vinceposting. "Someone hit the fucking warp drive and I'm trying to navigate through the blur" lmao poor Vince Vaughn, his acting ability was being stretched thin.

But I can guarantee when you finish watching 2nd season and the 3rd season
You folks will Truly understand why Season 2 was Bad and True Detective Season 1 and Season 3 are just *SPOT ON!*
