Set in the criminal infested Vinci, California, the lives of 4 individuals collide due to a grisly murder.

Great reaction. Major respect for not abandoning this show after S1 like so many other reactors. There are definitely some great elements at play that make it worthwhile as you go forward. You guys should react to the Fargo series after True Detective seasons are completed. I think you'd really appreciate the writing and overall artistry of that show.

I'm really glad yall got me to watch this season. I was able to buy Vince Vaugh's acting pretty early on, Rachel McAdams has taken longer but she is starting to come into it. This season is dark in very different way than the first. Each character seems to have internal demons and very real life struggles. I just can't see how this works out well for any of them.
Enjoyed the story to à point...love the cast...the story ...You'll see.
It really starts picking up….
I still believe that if this wasn’t called True Detective it would have been well received, certainly less critical.
I wish True Detective Season 2 didn't even existed to be frank
I have nothing against _Vince Vaughn_ or _Colin Farrell_ i just felt cheated after masterpiece Season 1, the same makers made pathetic season 2!
On good side, atleast Season 3 is much better! 🙌👏👏👏
Ray Velcoro is the only carrying this season 2....
