I like to finally share this publicly about the person behind Amorous, Jasonafex. I had a good friend who went by the username of Bluebomberimo. He use to do voice acting clips for Jasonafex until one day my buddy acted weird and left the furry fandom behind and asked Jasona to remove any work he voiced for. 3 years ago, my friend blue took his own life and when I shared this with Jasonafex, hole pretty much scoffed at the fact my friend is no longer with us. Pretty disrespectful if you asked me. Then when I curiously played that game, Amorous, I couldn't help the fact that he used some of my friend's voice clips even after his passing into this game. That and he's pretty much leeching on the furry community with lewd games for a cheap buck, as he put it. I strongly advise anyone who reads this to avoid anything and everything this man and his partner puts out so they don't get a single cent.

Just play Adastra. It's not so much a dating sim but a visual novel with fantastic writing and lore that makes you truly invested into the characters. I cried a little at the end, and I don't cry about fictional characters.

He was so terrified at the possibility of losing his channel from some badly programed algorithm mistakenly believing him to be a pedo, it made him knee-jerk react against the whole scenario. As someone who's very familiar with this game, if you ever want to come back to Amorous, just know:
- You have nothing to worry about content-wise as long as you have SFW mode on.
- Skye is an awesome character, and not having an X on her hand means she IS over 21, not that she isn't.
- Seth (the green feline guy at the bar) is the best choice if you're okay with dating a male character.
I was torn between Seth or Skye or Lex as my favorite. All three of them were so good. I almost didn’t want to pick another character to date at the end. I’m like yep, that is solid. One after the other. 3/3 hits uwu

Hey Spark! Just letting you know (it's too late but) and you wouldn't really know this unless you are deep in the furry fandom but:
the game Amorous is created/led by two furries (Jasonafex and Kabier) who are known Zoophiles (Kabier has had sex with dogs). Annnnd Jasonafex has created Tween Animation that has included artwork (by others) featuring underage characters and Kabier has made sexual artwork depicting underage characters.
Not to mention Jasonafex has been grooming his now wife Kabier since she was 15 years old and used her vocals (when she was 15) for a nsfw animation.
Just a heads up for this one! I wouldn't support them any further as they are kind of outcasts in the furry community for this!

I love Amorous. Love that you ended up checking out my two favorite characters in it too. Mercy's easily best girl, but Skye is a close second. I did a playthrough of the game on my channel a while back. Though I didn't do the SFW version, lol. Not even slightly.

My Favorite Route and probably the best route in the game is Seth (The green lynx cat near the bar). He's shy at first not trusting you at all and slowly gets more and more comfortable to you and trust you. With his author career and such.

Hey ! For further information, Lovers of Aether was a joke for April's fool and even if it's a good game, it was mainly to advertise the fighting game Rivals of Aether (which I recommend by the way)
I liked Amorous, though there were times I wanted to scream at my character and beg the game to give me back control of the dialogue, because my character was just saying the dumbest shit.
God imagine that... A fursona that cosplays. That's like several layers.
Amorous story lines are lowkey one of the best things i have ever read they really can strung you by your heart strings :3

"Angels with scaly wings" A weird one, a visual novel, but no focus on anything sexual. Interesting characters though, and one of the storylines broke my heartless heart (at the time I played it).

I recommend Familiar Travels; the dating aspect is really secondary to the story and characters which are surprisingly great.

There are a few "self insert" type characters in Amorous. Not sure if they were friends of the devs/artists, or paid to be in it.
I went on a fun dating sim adventure phase and this was one of the ones I found. It's cool that it doesn't limit you to just male or female interests, and some encounters are funny, but I wasn't really drawn to many of the options. It's always a fun challenge to try getting good/different endings though.

I think the arctic fox you meet named Skye is cosplaying Skye from Zootopia who was an arctic fox that was part of the original cast of Zootopia in earlier versions of the movie that weren't used. But the characters Skye as well as Jack Savage became extremely popular in the fandom.

Also Jasonafex and Kabier who are the creators of Amorous have always been quite controversial as they are both racist and transphobic on top of engaging in other shady things over the years. That also includes them falsely accusing the owner of the apparent they were staying in back in 2017 of committing sexual offences against Kabier because the owner asked them to start paying rent to live with them which they had every right to ask for. The owner was also good friends with Jason and Kabier before the incident so the couple were staying with the friend mostly for free until the incident.

Yeah, Mittsies music is used in this game I should know because "Sixtenzu" is being played in the background. So this leads me with two conclusions Mittsie knows that their music is being used(or always let people use their music), or they just put it in because Mittsies music sounds very good.
