- Demo of 9 odd sound sources and different instruments into the Particle 2 by Red Panda. This video explores how anything besides an electric guitar, sounds like with this granular delay effect pedal. Everything from a guitarlele with a slide under the strings to an analog synth to a spring reverb tank.
This video is mainly to demo how this FX pedal reacts to other sounds, it's not a tutorial... I just like to experiment with audio FX.
If you want to hear how electric guitar sounds into the Particle V1 sounds like with an electric guitar then check out the KnobDemos video:

Heh at last a demo not just using guitar but a range of sources
Hey Martin, glad to see your still making vids man, your stuff is always professional and informative
Egor Petrovic excellent... Glad you like it😉 yeah, I kinda missed RUclips a bit, but it's good to be back now
Thanks, must give the reverb tank a try
It's a surprisingly playable as an instrument😉
Cool! I want a Mood, but this looks easier to use. Plus, it's wayy less money. Thanks!
Also it's stereo.... Mood is mono 😉 but is a different flavor of course
I've been playing around with both a Mood and this for the last few days. My early impressions : This is largely easier to "learn" & get "intended" results. The Mood is (I think deliberately) slightly more chaotic and less about taming it, more about going along with the ride. The Mood also offers a micro loop function which this doesn't. But this combined with a looper would arguably be more flexible in the long run. I hope that helps.
@@JohnWilliamEvelyn The Micro looper is really the function I'm looking for, I think. I eneded up going back to the Particle. It's pretty much all on the face. Now I just need to figure out the looper part. Thanks!
Such a unique pedal👍
Yes indeed... Yet it pairs well with other fx, don't you think?
@@MartinYamMoller it definitely pairs well with others, and that’s where the experimental fun comes in!
Very nice Martin!
Thanks a lot Michael👍🙏 it's a wicked pedal
Awesome video, just ordered one and can't wait after watching this. What is that device with springs at no. 8?
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. The device at nr 8 is an accutronics spring tank, often used inside of guitar amps for reverb
This is great thanks!
StonedApeSociety lang Thanks 🙏👍 playing with the Red Panda context v2 right now🤘
Ahaha wonderful! I've got one incoming this week I can't wait😌
stereo in stereo out??? wow I stand corrected! Didn't know that!
👍🤘
Hellya!
🙏🤘
Really want to try this with my noise boxes and other metal stuff. But do you think there's no need for the EQD Rainbow Machine if I already have this one?
Dunno.... not tried the EQD Rainbow Machine
You gotta comb that rug, Marty.....fine demo, though.
Walter Smetak it's actually nose hair... So unruly😉... But thanks, glad you liked the demo🙏
Thank you for that! When you are using a microphone do you use something like radial's extc-sa for reamping? Also, do you prefer the new version? Thanks again!
Glad you found the video useful.... I just use the Røde VideoMic Pro Plus directly into the pedal with a mini-jack to 1/4 inch jack adapter. The videomic pro is a battery powered mic.
I've not tried the version 1 of the particle, so I can't say whether I prefer it or not.
@@MartinYamMoller , thanks for replying so soon. It will be particle or mood, I guess. Carry on!
hey martin
i like your moog voyager moogerfooger rig in the back. what rack are you using. can you send me a picture of the whole?
I built the moogerfooger/Voyager rack myself ... With a lotta help from my brother in law. It's just two sides outta walnut wood and planks between ... You can see it on my Instagram instagram.com/p/CAHqCnPhjfS/?igshid=7izeslsnxahi
I think the sounds fed into the PARTICLE pedal where too odd to really understand what the pedals' role was, in the end result.
yeah I get that
