I just bought this pedal on a whim and had buyers remorse, thinking I wouldn't find any use for it....but your video just calmed my mind...so many great sounds to be found! Thanks!
Both amazing pedals but i think the Particle can be more easily usefull because of the presets you can save. It's a shame that Fable hasn't presets by the way.
I have the V1, and judging from this demo, it’s quite different. More glitchy and unpredictable. I tried following/playing along to this but couldn’t get the same results based on the settings shown. RP says that the V2 is higher fidelity and some parameters have been changed. Thinking about another purchase (😖). Advice, anyone?
I never had V 1 but I'm loving this V2 Particle..Each mode is great and a lot of variation..not to mention expert mode when you can mix the modes together.. although I've far from mastered it.. Also this video didn't show the stereo capabilities of this version.. Really awesome stereo spread....
Have you set delay and pitch mode to only play the low octave? I'm pretty sure the default in this mode is both octave up and down. I would be interested to know if/how it can be set like yours through the web editor!
I didn't dive too deep into the expert and deeper functions of the pedal, but the web editor is really easy to use and has tons of options for all of the areas of the pedal. I'd check it out!

This one or the Walrus Fable... that is the big question for me!

I can highly recommend V2, if for the stereo spread (from update 2.2) of the particles alone. Awesome pedal!

It's easy to set it to a few different pitch modes..It's all in the web editor..Do you have the latest firmware update?
