The way watermelon is somewhat sweet but is highly refreshing when you eat it, sugarcane is the same but with its own unique taste. The sweetness amount is arguably slightly more than watermelon.

I think a company started to reuse banana fibres to make sanitary pads for example. In Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, there is the technology and potential but I don't think the scale is there for repurposing sugar cane pulp. Maybe composting but that's it. I would love to visit India one day but solo travel as a woman can be overwhelming!
Sugarcane chunks covered in lemon and Tajin (or a bit of chili powder) is incredibly good. The sweetness balanced with the sour and spicy is worth peeling a sugar cane bit by bit.

The way watermelon is somewhat sweet but is highly refreshing when you eat it, sugarcane is the same but with its own unique taste. The sweetness amount is arguably slightly more than watermelon.

I think a company started to reuse banana fibres to make sanitary pads for example. In Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, there is the technology and potential but I don't think the scale is there for repurposing sugar cane pulp. Maybe composting but that's it. I would love to visit India one day but solo travel as a woman can be overwhelming!
