I can’t find my link file in twinmotion any help?
does not work, maybe I missed an install or plug-in. direct link settings source is showing revit name and project name. what am i missing help
If you can see your revit model listed in direct link meaning it's all good, now go back to your Revit then try the steps below:
1. Open a 3D View (realistic model display style)
2. Make sure your section box is turned off or at least your WHOLE model is shown (no cuts or anything)
3. close all tabs, don't do window tile or window cascade, only 3D View remains (this wont really help, only important thing is your 3D view is the active one)
4. Go to Datasmith Tab and click Synchronize again, should work now.
5. The model "usually" spawns underneath your camera view, so don't forget to look down. or press E/Q/M
6. Extra note, click the ground or landscape in twinmotion and delete/hide using scenegraph, your import "might" be underneath. I havent had a model spawn underneath the ground but give it a try too.

@@AinsHowToTutorials it is fine next problem was it's only showed 50% half the project model then i reread your instruction and make sure the revit model is inside the cube now my project imported full. Thanks👍

Hi I tried installing twin motion then after downloading the datasmith it showed no supported version of revit
What can I do? Do you have like Facebook Page that I can message you? Thank you
When i was new to this twinmotion thing, something similar about revit version not showing as well. Anyway, this will be tedious but..
what i did for me, install revit first, install twinmotion, (make sure you have all your desired revit versions available before you install datasmith), now once you install datasmith all your current revit options will show.
Now as for 2024, the twinmotion is alreaady embedded in it as a new tab in revit ribbons, so you wouldn't require a datasmith for that as long as you have a license
