Can very much confirm Tobias and crew roaming around smaller cities. 2015 during the Black to the Future tour, a lot of us went to a pool bar after the show. Noticed a few out of place Swedes there but didn’t want to be that guy. Gentleman in slicked back hair approached me and asked what I had been up to. Mentioned I was just at the Ghost show, blah, blah, blah. Guy says he knows because he was talking to me in the back of the Orbit Room while the opener was playing. Only person I talked to was someone in Papa Emeritus costume, but thought it was just a fan. He asked for me ticket, and signed it PE III. I was going to ask the forbidden question, but was cut of with “I guess we’ll never know.”.
Time rolls on and Ghost releases the Popestar EP and subsequent tour. I desperately wanted to go, but was low on cash, and justified not buying tickets because I had just seen them at home in GR a few months prior. That changed when I heard WGRD was giving away tickets. I must have called every time they did a giveaway, until I finally scored a set of tickets on the last chance to win them. Show was at the Kalamazoo State Theater. I brought a friend with, we got there early, and decided we needed some food. In front of the theatre was the tour bus and truck, next door is Harvey’s on the Mall. We went to Harvey’s for dinner and sat in the back. Time rolls on a few not so American looking guys roll in and sit at the bar across from us. Time goes by, our food comes, and we get asked what we ordered. I pause for a second and realize the guy across from me is the same guy that that I had talked to at the pool bar during the last show I had been to. Craziest part is, this guy says I look familiar. Like he talked to me a few times in GR. This was during the time everyone was speculating who the band members were but couldn’t confirm it. I had asked this man if he remembers the question I had asked him and the answer he had given me. He smirked, and said “I do. I do remember.” The only words that had left my mouth were, “Well, I guess we now know.”.
With all that said, I might have to see if there’s any tickets left for the show on the 19th and make the trek over to Saginaw. For all I know, I might run into that mysterious man again. It’s been 6 years since the last time I saw Ghost, so who knows if he’ll remember our encounters. It would be fun to remind him I was right all along. Guess there’s only one way to find out.

Ghost graced us with an amazing Ritual in Tucson. Saw them in Phoenix earlier in March, but the Tucson show was absolutely awesome. Hopefully they will come back. The atmosphere was electric. As an obsessed fan, I can't get enough of Tobias and Ghost!! 😁🤘❤❤❤❤❤❤

You're on that square, and on that level Tobias. I went to my first show in Austin this year and yall are absolutely a-fucking-mazing. Mesmerizing. Your brain is on another wave length than others. You are (in my book) the best front man to any band in this Era. The story and music is by far above any others in the industry. You have a bright future and I can't wait to watch your movie when you (decide) to come out with it. You are a force to be reckoned with and the only one on your level compared is Rob zombie and his music sucks, yours does not. His movie ideas are all shock factor and you have comedy and seriousness. I can't wait to see how far you'll become and how much you and your fan base will grow in the next few years. I'll be here to witness it hopefully.

I really appreciate his presence in current day rock and metal. You can tell by the way he talks that hes just matter of fact about where rock stands today and isnt disparaging of hip-hop. He truly seems to be a music appreciater of all sorts and just wants to put on a good show

he aint wrong saw ghost last night in providence they undersold. alot of open seats but its been like that all summer at concerts. I saw dead and company at gillette, they closed the 300 level and 200 level never seen a concert so small at gillette, and metallica filled that place in 2017

Matt sounded like he knew Ghost pretty well until he said the thing about the "famil friendly" element. Papa curses. And Papa & the ghouls gesticulate sexually regularly.

or Allentown! or any place close that has a good sound system and acoustics. Trenton sounded bad
