It's hard to imagine that this eloquent/well spoken, calm, very down to earth, polite (bordering on humble), man transforms -on stage- into this very flashy show-off that is Cardinal Copia. 😁 Fascinating!
an intellectual person being a rock/pop musician. What a rarity. He goes his own path never relying on anyone else, not as a band nor human. He had a vision and he made it real. Great guy! Go Tobias! Ghost rules!

Dude that was some kind of other ambient noise, maybe a chair on the floor like a pp mentioned. Have any of yall ever heard a real fart? Lol never thought I'd ask that question online but here we are lol
This guy and his band ghost will crush any American country band in a second. His influences of horror movies I can relate to. Country and rap is what stupid America loves. A true talent is ghost and I push this band on everyone!
I LOOOOVE Ghost....I love Dance Macabre !!! His voice is amazing and Tobias himself is very well spoken, he puts alot of thought and effort into getting his point across. Inspirational, to say the least..
Wow. Tobias provides an exceptional demonstration of the change in the metal scene in the last 5-10 years at the end and the interviewer just goes, "very interesting" and closes the interview.
@@joerusso7851 I'm 47 and have been fortunate enough to see FNM 4 times as well as Mr Bungle and Tomahawk. If you get the chance to see Mike Patton in any of his guises ,you must take it 🤘
Thanks Ash for posting these! Tobias is always thought provoking and Ghost is the best live performing band I have had the good fortune to see in concert.
Wow a free thinker, a leader who understands that it is about a good time, I have always thought that christianity was about punishment and sadness "Jesus " won't love you, I have been a practicing spiritualist for many years.
I would love to see Ghost and Alice Cooper do a tour together someday. It would definitely be a celebration for me to see my two favorite bands together. ❤
Being a Christian there are certain things I don't like about ghost "certain lyrics" BUT I love their music. Tobias is a musical genius! I love how their music is well rounded and not just one genre. I love the heavy and really love the poppy stuff. Also, Tobias is very friendly, smart and treats everyone with courtesy, especially the kids. He also has a wonderful voice. I'll be seeing them in August 2023 in Cincinnati. Rock on Tobias 🤘
I'm a Christian as well and definitely get your point about those lyrics. I gotta add that I' ve been able to distance myself from these. I dig the vibe but don't take it personally because I just don't share the same spirituality but I do share the same fun and enthusiasm. And that's what should be the most important thing, right? I'm just glad to see other Christians enjoying their awesome work!
I don't pay attention to the dark themes. It is all just theater. Having seen interviews with Tobias. I think the last thing he is trying to do is convert people or selling blasphomy. As a young kid, I use to love old horrer movies- Lon Cnaey, Bela Lugosy, Claud Raines, early black and white horrer movies (I am in my 60s). I find there music and definitely is very reminiscent of that.
That bit about the stage hands it really sad and disappointing. If it makes anyone not from the US feel any better about the southern states, I'm from Texas and drove 3 hours to watch Ghost play in Oklahoma, and they got a lot of love from those of us in the audience. There are plenty of goofballs in the states, but there are still a lot of us who aren't like that (I'm a Christian btw, lol).
It's kind of wild that Ghost can tour in Catholic European countries like Spain & France without a problem & also Latin America which is predominantly Catholic but they can't tour in Asia & get protested in certain regions of the US (which isn't Catholic majority )
We need to free the bonds of the enslaved by oranized religion we are free beings Tobias speaks real truth not the false truth conveyed by christianised religion. I love this band they are the source of my strength and truth to my views bring on the lightbringer
I keep seeing that the questions are stupid in the comments but everything Tobias says in this is fascinating. Really gives a good insight into his personal morals and ideas of the bands purposes.
They should have a more enthusiastic interviewer ,🙄,come on !!!! Interviewing some one so talented, charismatic and charming like Tobias Forge ,❤❤❤❤❤❤pleeeeaseeee
What I don't get about those stage hands that all called out sice. If they don't like ghost and think what they're doing is wrong, why bother taking the job? Was it to intentionally ruin the show? If so that just makes them mean people.
@Ghoulette of Ghost BC it may not make economical sense for them somce they won't be able to make big money in India if they arent well known. But if they want to play a show once in a while like the old days when they were underground and feel that again, being able to interact with people in the audience and play small venues, India is a good place. Mumbai, Delhi, big cities where there are good venue facilities and people more exposed to Western life. They could play at a hard rock cafe !
I love Ghost but let's get one thing straight - they're not Satanists & they're not even scary. True story.....when they played at the London Palladium ages ago, we hung-around outside, afterwards their guitarist emerged & we practically made him cry. He was having some sort of argument with his English or American girlfriend, a few of us laughed & he went fucking mad, virtually bursting in to tears. It wasn't this guy in this interview, it was the one who looks like the racing driver, Sebastian Vettel. Anyway, as an aside, they also had 'Pappa Johns Pizza' delivered to the dressing rooms via the backdoor, which I thought was funny considering the whole 'Papa Emeritus' schtick but yeah they were good live & I like them a lot, but they're not satanists!.
@@notramesses4790 Same. I got on the band wagon late so I just got into them earlier this year. Great stuff, really hope to experience one of their performances. I hear they're legendary.
You know he is a great guy and well spoken. I have to remind myself that he is not from America. Having said that, his pauses get a little annoying. I mean these questions he is hit with, probably gets all the time. The questions are not that deep and the responses should be quicker and more decisive.
Rick R He takes his time because he cares and is considerate about how his message received by people. He also doesn’t always answer the same way to the same questions, he always gives a little bit more each time further then the last time he was asked.
