- I chatted with Tobias Forge, the man behind one of my favorite bands, Ghost! This is just days before IMPERA won the AMA for Best Rock Album 2022.
I've wanted to speak with this man for AGES and I'm glad it finally came together.

The interviewer is fantastic. I’m new to the band and it’s the first time I see this interviewer but I like how he seems well informed, manages to respond and converse about things Tobias says, rather than him just reading of questions and sticking to those. His bright smile creates a very open and welcoming atmosphere, which would put me at ease if I had to talk to him. Tobias seems very focused and concentrated so he doesn’t smile as much, but he gives nice answers and it’s great he takes his time to answer

I love how you address him properly and let him speak, most interviewers have been treating him so disrespectfully. He deserves recognition for the fans he's made and helped, all those people he made happy. I still remember him being adressed as Mr. Ghost and not Tobias or Forge. I felt so frustrated watching the interviews, was always the same questions too.. Glad this one was different, very informative too, good job c:
This was a good interview. The question engaged Tobias, a person known to be difficult to interview without a guitar with you. You earned yourself a subscriber for sure.

This guy is the coolest. He literally studies everything. He's not just a musician, he is a detective as well. I have to go look up NECROVORE.
It’s why I love Tobias and ghost, he does such a great job at making me look up new artists, or rediscover a band or singer I forgot I loved due to it be a kid. I checked out necrovore but it wasn’t my taste which was strange considering I love Dethklok, but I still check out a band I never would have.
Latin. History. Politics. Italian. Religion. War. Hate. Love. This man has sent me scurrying to find out what he is writing about. That’s the beauty of art. It expands the heart and mind. Plus he has helped me kick ass playing Jeopardy.

@@lanimorris2462ahhh me too! The reason behind mummy dust was dedicated to “ mammon “ who was a Dominican Priest in the 13th century called Thomas Aquinas who was described as the son of greed . That’s why the fake money comes out at the end ! Or the Hungarian countess Elizabeth Bathory which the song Elizebeth was about . I have looked up a lot of what he’s written and tried to understand what he means it’s interesting and each song is meaningful for that reason. A great history lesson 😂
I LOVE how he thinks before giving an answer unlike others who just drone on and on and spew irrelevant nonsense. He gives off a vibe of high intelligence

Ill never get over the fact that Tobias is Swedish, but his English is flawless. If I didnt know I would just guess he's from California. Oh ya, that and he's an all-time visionary genius. Great interview
His English is superb but I love it when he asks a certain word sometimes and how to pronounce it correctly 😊

Not only is it mind blowing that a channel this size got the interview but it he absolutely KILLED it!!! And the A/V quality is also top notch. Clearly not this man's first rodeo w/livestreaming/podcasting.

In all honesty, Ghost has never ever made a song or an album that I didn't absolutely love and feel amazing about. Tobias Forge is a musical genius. And I want to thank him and everyone evolved in making the magical music happen❤❤❤❤❤❤

Amazing interview! Really good questions, the attention to details and the intention to engage with Tobias' answers is much appreciated. Theres very few interviews where Tobias seems to truly enjoy the presence of the interviewer and, fewer ones where he jokes and laughs as authentically as we see here. Don't get me wrong, Tobias is a funny guy, but here the jokes seem a little bit more directed to Jon rather than to whoever's watching and that's 100% because of Jon's questions and his ability to make the other person feel comfortable and heard.

Kids temp 😂 That's brilliant. Finally someone that takes their coffee the same as me. Tip though, ask for your normal coffee and a small cup of ice separately. Then add a couple of cubes to your liking. I get some strange looks 😂 Fantastic interview, great questions and a great vibe.

Just saw them in concert last month. His band members are some of the best musicians I've ever seen while bigger bands play so sloppy live
They are very tight as a band live . I prefer to hear them live which is unusual for me with bands !
