This is one of the highlights of an incredible album. And yes, they are CLEARLY influenced by Queen. Not sure why that's an argument. This song, Be Calm, Barlights, even Some Nights, all sound like they were composed by people who listened to a lot of Queen, and yay for them! Queen's a great band and so is fun.
Now my favorite part happens to be the bridge at 2:20, when the texture changes and it's like clouds opened up or something. Definitely some great musical choices. That little piano riff in the background sounds like something Randy Newman would have written but not as campy. 😝
That's my favorite part too! This whole song is great but that part is just so smooth and satisfying to listen to.

Thought this would be the only song from Aim and Ignite that I wouldn't like but eventually forced my self to listen to it because all the other songs in the album were bangers. Glad I did because now I'm obsessed with it

All I know is that this is the first song I've ever heard that uses the word "beautiful" to mean I use it for. It isn't a physical characteristic, but something that describes a person's spirit.

What's wrong with discovering them that way? I found them because there was a spoiler saying Glee was going to cover. I looked it up because I'd never heard it, and instantly fell in love from there. I own and love both albums, I have tickets to see them in January, and I follow Jack on Tumblr. Does how I found them mean I'm not a "true fan" despite all of this? Of course not!
I'm buying my boyfriend tickets to see Fun. in April, since he's the one who introduced me to them :)

For the record, I'm 16 and I LOVE queen, my mother raised me up with music like that playing in the background. Stop judging others and start judging your own faults, maybe then you can grow up.
also, for everyone freaking that people discovered them after We Are Young, unless you listened to Nate's first band, The Format (a local Arizona band) and heard that he was forming fun. after the Format broke up in 2008, you can't bash others for liking them after here a good song.

"Emo" does actually mean something. It doesn't mean you cut yourself, although some do. It means emotional. Some people are just more emotional than others. And I guess i'd say i'm "emo," but I love these guys. Anyone could like them.
