I chose to go with this setup, but there is more than one correct way to do this. Your cheapest and simplest option would be to get the OEM radiator with the integrated oil cooler like the older chevy trucks used to have and the OEM oil cooler lines that connect directly to it. The use of the thermostatic oil cooler adapter is completely optional and unnecessary.

I dont remember the exact measurements, about: 5 ft each hose, one being about 4-5 inches shorter than the other. I actually have the whole set up for sale if you're interested..

Does the driveshaft ever make contact with the aftermarket ls adaptor ?
No because it goes on the side next to the oil filter not underneath..
Why crank it with out fuel if the thermostat won’t let you prime the oil cooler it’s not going to fill with oil till it’s up to temp
I added oil in the oil cooler as well as the lines before connecting everything but this was over a year ago so I dont remember if I showed it in the video..

No kit, I looked for my own parts. But I have some of the parts for sale if you’re interested.

I took it off because I sold the tahoe and I wanted to keep my parts. But I enjoyed while I had it installed..
....and I got the oil cooler, the steel braided lines, and the adapter.
