- Shutter lag has always been an issue on Android devices and this continues with the S23 series. Here's how to fix that.

Is there an option to lower the mic while video recording? Besides pro mode. The gain is so high all I hear is my hands on my case.

Turn off the animations no shutter delay or click developer options and turn off the animations that way there's a couple ways to do it now

@@Szalbert you havr to turn on dev mode then got to the neaf bottom and its tight near then end theres 3 options related to it it also speeds up your phone

Animation speed has nothing to do with the shutter lag
I have camera assistant but don't have those options. But, I have not noticed any major lag either. Was this changed and fixed in One UI 6? I never tried with the original software, I got this phone couple of days ago and installed all the updates right away.
I wonder how much of a hit does the quality really take. Is it noticeable?
i think this can just be done with settings then advance intelligence options then set to minimum. no need to install additional app

@Joshua-rh5wg the 100x zoom is awful though. Absolutely no point to it as the image quality is so bad as there is so much processing going on. 30x is just passable.

@wevved I've taken plenty of pics with 100x zoom, and they came out clear. I was able to read the name of a boat all the way across the harbor from where I was standing, taken pics of license plates far away on the highway and tons of start shots, just from my everyday phone. Apple can't beat that AND 200mp photos
I used iphone most my life and just recently got an s23 ultra as an upgrade from my IPhone 11. It was my first samsung phone and I will never go back to Apple who I've blindly followed for years until realizing what other brands have to offer, which is much much more than Apple
@@Saucegod207I like the animations in iPhones. And the faster processing times too. It just feels like their processor could do so much more than what they offer. It's like they are only using 45% of its capability vs android using 70% of their processing capability. I would want to have multitasking and stylus, desktop mode etc in iPhones too.

I noticed with android your constantly having to fix things when you first get the phone you need to get Rid of all the bloat you got to change the resolution to the correct resolution… just stick with iPhone no need to fix.

and that's the beauty of android, if you don't like a particular thing there's a setting or a way to fix it, unlike in ios when you have an issue you're pretty much stuck because of the lack of user control.
@Michael Apostol yep. I've had no issues with my S20 Fe until I actually started digging for them.. but there was still a fix 😅
