Thank for your tips! I always make ideas in my head during my freetime, work or traveling. But everytime when I want to start something... my brain shuts down and I just can't start building. Because I want to do a lot things immediately. With these tips, I can visualize and also visualize things IN game.
Really great informative video Wikz! I'll admit that I don't really factor "prioritizing guest satisfaction" in my creations... so that's something new for me to consider to elevate my future creations! Question for ya in regards to the templates.... I noticed you had different colored ones in one shot... do you color code your templates? I really like your way of using the templates after watching this video... I've been using another template method for placeholders but I'm going to try yours out as I think it might work easier for me. Thanks for this video! Now back to Sakura, lol! ☮& ♥~ Smiling 🙂
Happy you like it! Guest satisfaction is just an important factor, in the way you should spread out attractions, shops and facilities. And if you have that in your mind, it’ll might be easier to do an overview or layout of your park! The colored templates were mainly because it was based upon different areas of the park. Red was Asian, Brown/Dark was Steampunk, Yellow was Mainstreet and etc. Hehe. Enjoy Smiling! 🙌
Yup, theming is very important. But doing the park layout first is very important! And then you can always figure out what themes you want to make your parks. Thanks for the watch!
I think European theme parks are generally better for theming than American parks. I personally don’t care for the rides or coasters lol. I visit theme parks often, but never go in any attraction 😂. I’m just there for the theming & nature. - Disneyland Paris the best themed park in the world but it’s crazy expensive. I’m sure the Disneyland parks in other continents are also great! It’s Disney after all. They have a massive budget lol. - Phantasialand (in Germany) basically Disneyland style theming but smaller (of course) & very affordable. - Efteling (in the Netherlands) mostly for kids & teenagers but it is very well themed and lots and lots of nature everywhere. Lots of walking though.
Pretty perfect only one thing you missed, dont forget your own vision as a designer, sure its important to cater to guests, but that automaticly happens when you create something you love your self, your vision should guide decisions within the themes you set for yourself further more nothing to add😊
Oh and Diegesis as an interesting strategy to pick fitting ridesystems for your story in my oppinion the leading principle in choosing the correct ride and even theme to tell a story
And one personal design principle but doesnt work for everyone prioritize space for rides first over overal layout this way you place the experiences at the forefront and the layout can form itself from there, but that is more of a personal preference not perse a universally correct one haha
That is true. Also why I explained how I built my mega park, Dania. With my own visions and goals! My person goal with this video, was to share the knowledge and the basics on how to start a park layout.
Hehe agree with this! In total we all have our different preferences when it comes to park layout and design! I just think sometimes people forget how to divide attractions, staff facilities and shops! So zoning is an important part, also with the guest flow!
@@WikzGaming totally agree capacity is also one too many people forget about unfortunatly😭 THRC and dwell time also help guest flow immensly love your knowledge you clearly know your stuff!

Awh thank you so much!
Appreciate the like and welcome in!
It’s important to have some type of theme before starting. The theme will guide you through the entire build.

great video, but is the software used in modeling

European theme parks are for sure better themed than American parks. I agree.

I want to make a video game park but the dumb map size makes it impossible
You mean too big or too small?
@@WikzGaming it’s too small I would like to see bigger map sizes
@@tailsprowerfan2729are you using the city biome? That map is smaller but the other maps are huge😂
