Hey Larry, Great advice and video! I've learned this along the way in my journey of this way of eating.
I've been Ketogenic for almost 5 1/2 years, (clean Keto 5 yrs, Carnivore 4 mos, ⤵️ 150 lbs.)
You just have to keep moving forward, if and when you have a "failure" meal or moment. Keep your faith and God's strength, and a positive mindset, learn from your failures!
This is a lifestyle for me and I'm never going back to the S.A.D.! There are too many wonderful benefits! I'm taking my life back, one day at a time!!💪🏼☝🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
God bless you and yours, 🙏🏼❤️😊

Absolutely LOVE your analysis and description of resilience and how to build it. You shouldn't plan failure ( that's so dumb, why would anyone do that?) but failure is an opportunity to build resilience. So you don't need to be sad about it.
It goes along with something I have learned in my own life- that what seems like a terrible disaster at the time can often turn out better in the end. 😀

I did so well on Carnivore when I first started over a year ago but I wasn't losing weight, even though I knew things were happening behind the scenes, 2023 ended up being a stressful year for me and even though I know Carnivore took away the cravings and made me feel my best ever, I hit so many different stumbling blocks. Mental and emotional mostly. Ozempic became the big thing and everyone around me was getting on it whether they were diabetic or not and they lost weight, a lot of weight! This did not help my psyche at all. I know deep down that it still isn't a magic bullet and if those people ever go off of it they will have to face their food demons again someday. I think what I realized is that I KNOW that I know Carnivore works. I know that my body needs time to heal and I now know that I need tools to deal with the stress if I'm going to be an overcomer in the long run. I have people close to me that are high stress/anxiety. I've always cared for others and been a hard worker providing financially etc., but I have completely failed myself. I don't want to go another year tripping over the same obstacles. This video is so timely for me and I really needed to hear these words. Thank you...

Morning chief. Im a non drinker, but i think the carbs and sugar in most alcoholic drinks is a stumbling block for a lot of people. The drinking culture in the Australian military is/was horrendous. I know that the realisation that Carnivore means no booze, causes a lot of people to fail to commit.

100% agree John, we have the same drinking culture in the US Military and veterans

Before beginning this carnivore journey I have been having extremely hot baths followed by an ice cold bath. It lowers inflammation.
It also helps build your resilience when you force yourself to get into that freezing water. Because you are taking charge of your brain.

PS I have RA, OA, fibromyalgia and injuries from a car crash in 1990. On MTX and a Biologic Baricitinib + 8 other prescribed medicines.
The inflammation is everywhere including my brain, which causes clinical depression as well.
Had a total ankle replacement and heel reconstruction a year ago, due to have the other ankle and heel replacement next year and my knee replaced in 2 years.
Been in continuous pain since July 7th 1990.
But I am lucky to be alive- had to be resuscitated, was technically dead .

Hi , I subscribed a couple of weeks ago but haven't been getting notifications, so now I'm catching up.
I am trying to get to carnivore but I really really crave fruit in late evening. So I saw on one of Dr Berry's lists that raspberries are one of the least bad fruits. And I have been having them with lots of thick cream 😕

Best athletes in the wold at the Olympics some still crash or fall ! It does happen to the best but as long as you learn from it
I do say the upside is you can LEARN from it so its not all to waste UNLESS you ignore it then its wasted if that makes sense
Also beating yourself up does nothing
Learn from it and move on armed with new info
