    Awesome video, sir! I've seen so many kayak videos here in the states that are sinking. I'm buying a hobie with a ton of gear with it and bilge is one of the top items included.

    Great setup! I am trying to find the pvc connector as shown in your video. U happen to know the name of this particular part?

      Hi, thanks for comments. Its called a bulkhead fitting.

    Great video. I understand how the electronics work. However, did you use a waterproof container to protect the battery and wiring connections, or do you rely on watertight bulkhead? My ORU Kayak lacks a watertight compartment, which would require a submersible batter container. Thanks

      I've got the battery in a watertight container. I used a waterproof plug / socket to allow it to be removed. Velcro to stick it to the inside of the kayak.

      Thanks for responding. I just purchased a Nocqua 4Ah water resistant battery kit. Hope that works as well as what you have. Including a closeup of the install and container (or link to that part) might be helpful to others looking to do the same.
