    HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... LOVE the new kitchen and these dumplings are to die for. I have never had this before. Fancy fleur-de-lys shirt. That's some fancy vanilla. Idk how you get you fridge to be so shiny. Mine always has streaks. Fancy corer. OK, everything is fancy! 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Stop making hole in the dough! 😀😀. Love the hidden nuts. Again, fancy leaf embellishments! 🤢🤢I am green with envy! Stop teasing!

      If you bake them without the sauce for 20min first it gives the pastry a chance the cook and firm up then put the sauce in and cook for the amount of time to reduce the sauce and brown the top and it will be a lot nicer pastry on the bottom half

    I had a lot of fun making these for our Thanksgiving dessert. They turned out so pretty. My grandsons got a kick out of watching your video too, they were great helpers. My only concern was that my apples were still pretty firm after cooking for an hour. When I make these again I think I will bake my apples a bit before wrapping them in their crust and baking, or I may try smaller apples. Thank you for the wonderful recipe! 😊

    • @TheSandersKitchen
      @TheSandersKitchen  10 месяцев назад +1

      You know, I’ve never had that with mine. I’m thinking it’s got to do with cooking in different climates. So whatever you need to do to make them come out great. That’s what you should do. I change up recipes to suit my personal taste. Then I make that recipe. If it’s great, then that’s it. But I’m usually tweaking along the way.
      Glad you guys had fun in the kitchen. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
