Fun Fact: Some of the execs at Disney wanted Luisa to still have a small, more "feminine" figure, but the animators fought to have her with bigger frame. I personally love the choice. I even love that Mirabel isn't even super slim either. Helps relate to girls of all shapes and sizes to show that we're all beautiful no matter what we look like or how we're built.
Well I prefer the bigger size for Luisa since she seems very sensitive it’s a great contrast
It's actually just one animator who claimed it and it's really unlikely, but it became an internet "urban legend" fast...
And let's not forget Mirabel is the first Disney princess with glasses
Lin Manuel Miranda wrote this with his older sister in mind. She took more than her fair share of her family's burden while they were growing up.

This is my favorite song from Encanto!! So real & relatable especially if you are an eldest sibling so much pressure!!
This is so good she cares so much about her family that she puts herself through mental hell so they don't have to. During the song she does everything to protect her sister showing her that she will always take care of her family dispite what it's doing to her.
This has now my favorite Disney song because it has a great meaning and really Hits home

And and I really dont get when people think its an empowering song and didnt catch at all that she isnt okay... thus I immediately like each reactor who understand this xD

I agree with you! While 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' is very catchy, this song deserves so much love. It's my favorite, too, as a middle child myself.
I absolutely love this song. I feel like it is the song of my soul and I have been watching every reaction possible of it. But when you said; "I cannot crack. Not once. Because then I am afraid something bad is gonna happen" it hit me so hard. I knew I related to this song, but you are the first one to put your finger on the issue with precision enough that I know what to work on now. Thank you for that ❤️

From what I can tell Luisa can Lyft well over a 100 something tons just by carrying them donkeys 6 alone she's carrying well over 3 tons cuz the average donkey weighs over 1'100 and another fun fact Isabella's oldest Luisa the middle and Mirabelle is the youngest but if you go by the order ages of their voice actresses Mirabel will be the oldest Isabella be the middle and Luisa will be the youngest
I like this song better too, it’s just amazing. All the songs are amazing though, they’re all different and special in their own way. Family Madrigal is next!!!
