    I’m so glad more people are coming out about the ACTUAL way a person can lose weight. We don’t NEED injections or medications to lose weight, most of the time. Most of us just eat TOO DAMN MUCH. And too much processed and fake foods

      @@aoutsky there’s nothing wrong with taking medications FOR YOU! I’m not trying to yell, but trying to show we all want different things for our life, and that’s okay. However, some people don’t mind being at big pharmas mercy, but I don’t want that to be my life. Yes losing weight and maintaining is hard! BUT being obese and even severely obese is hard too! They’re both hard, you gotta choose your hard. And if you know you’re emotional eating, you’re halfway there, don’t know your belief system, but ask the Lord to help you and maybe think about getting a counselor to get to the root of your problem, hope this helps anyone!

    Steep tea every day. Substitute sugar with raw honey for sweetener. If you want iced tea, steep it then chill it. It helps kickstart metabolism, replaces sodas and other sugary drinks, and gives the body a ton of antioxidants. You can see results in as little as six weeks if you drink one 16.9oz serving every day. Cheers.

    I started intermittent fasting and changed to a whole food plant based lifestyle and it’s been a game changer no cravings for sweets since I cut out refined carbs, sugar, and processed foods. No calorie counting, I’m full longer & I still eat good food but with medicinal properties. I was losing without exercise but I incorporated walking to keep the blood flowing and now starting strength training. I have so much more energy and I’m never going back just wish I would’ve done it sooner. The processes stuff has addictive components. Diets, moderation did not work for me but this I’m doing for life. Was diagnosed with T2D in June but not to the point of needing medication so I’m working on reversing it and never having that diagnosis again. 37lbs down

    I agree with you 80-90 percent of fitness is what you put in your mouth and how much of it. With that said, I completely recommend some form of strength training training(weight lifting or resistance bands) along with cardio. There is such a thing as “skinny fat”. When someone loses a significant amount of wait but they don’t look healthy and they don’t have any muscle tone. Strength training is beneficial in so many ways. Strengthening not only your muscles but your bones as well. Adding more lean muscle to your body helps slow down the aging process. Weight lifting boost metabolism, lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease, balances blood sugar levels, boost mood, strengthens bones, lowers blood pressure, improves sleep, burns fat, improves posture, etc. the list goes on. At 45 I went back to the gym and at 52 I have more muscle than I ever did in my twenties.

      @IannaYvonne  2 месяца назад +5

      Thanks so much for watching! You are absolutely correct. I discuss many of these exact points in another video I have called “ lose weight and keep it off for good”. Strength training is the fountain of youth!! I typically recommend starting a fitness journey with low intensity steady state cardio so that cortisol levels don’t shoot up. Also most people who are overweight likely need to improve their cardiovascular health. However progressing to incorporate weight training, even a few days a week, is a must!

    The physical activity (weights) is so that you make your body stronger. You’ll feel better.
    Eating less calories than what you burn will add to weight loss.
    Seek medical advice before intermittent fasting and one meal a day. For some… this could mess you up. For many it’s fine. Best to be sure.
    Balance in meals is important. This lady is correct. Blood sugar spikes can be managed by the foods you combine when you eat. There are cgm blood glucose monitors out there that help you keep track of what spikes your blood glucose. If you can get a cgm… do it.
    The journey can be intimidating… but can be done.
    Edit: Nov 2023 - Today: 44 lbs lost. I’m 57 years old. Was skinny most of my life. Gained weight during Covid… so glad to have it off of me!
    Good luck everyone and may God Bless us All!

      @@nicolew9419 that's very true. But I find that I'm usually so hungry that I tend to over eat. I've even done Omad for a month and still didn't lose more than 2 kg which was insignificant compared to the 'suffering' of hunger I went through. Plus I'm usually irate and very depressed when I'm fasting so all in all it's not even sustainable for me.

      Someone can do all the intermittent fasting but if they overeat on their eating window, they wont loose weight,when you add insulin resistance + hormonal issues/ PCOS it becomes harder.Weight loss is not a one size fit all.The best way is to do what is best and what works for our health and body. @@nicolew9419

      A lot of ppl who say IF doesn’t work doesn’t do it correctly. It’s not about just eating it’s also not drinking. Not consuming anything that will spike insulin which is anything other than water, black coffee or plain tea. It gets a lot easier in terms of hunger the more you do it. For me personally it works way better than counting calories cuz I don’t even have to count calories doing IF. I lost 55lbs doing IF 18:6 and OMAD. I got off and maintained and now about to start it up again to lose another 50lbs then I’ll be done.

    • @IannaYvonne
      @IannaYvonne  Месяц назад

      Hello. Thank you for watching! I simply meant Glp1 medication should be “considered a crutch or support”. They work because you are not hungry … and therefore do not eat. The medication itself is not “curing” any medical conditions. They is very beneficial for type 2 diabetics in controlling blood glucose levels and insulin production…. But again… this can be done with diet and exercise. I have bed- bound patients whom have lowered their hemaglobin A1c with diet ALONE and are no longer type 2 diabetics.
      The goal with these medications should be to use them WHILE making dietary and lifestyle changes so you do not have to remain dependent on a medication (especially an expensive one) long term. ❤️

    🎯True. I lost 40 lbs in 3 months with no exercise at all. I ate four small healthy meals a day, with a 100 calorie snack about an hour to two hours after each meal. I was full all day and too full to eat anything else after 6pm. I would eat a slice of pizza OR a kid's cheeseburger OR something fried ONE day a week and ate veggies & fruit on the side. I drank a glass of water before every meal and snack. I would have one non-water 8oz beverage a day. So, you definitely can lose weight by just eating better.

    Just eat only at 2pm and lighter berries strawberries at 3pm, and was going to supplement about 4pm and try to get 1700 to 2000 calories within 4 hours.. Then eat a lift protein high fat no carbs snack at 8pm round 250 calories or beer liquor if your hoping to party without the 8pm protein snack. Do not attempt to eat again till 12 hours later or 2pm again which is 18 hours later for best results. Do light stomach and body strengthening exercise to help promote burning a fat in those key areas while fasting. Never work out after eating
    Never work out right after eating.👈🏾☝️💪🏾💕
