I cant being to describe the emotions that your song stir in me. Thank you for including my daughter in the video. You song brings to light this silent disease. To see the beautiful faces all of the children in your video you would never know that they live with a disease that rules their life. Thank you from our family to yours. WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, FABULOUS !!!
Chuck, I cannot believe how well Maggie writes for her age. i am sure you are a very proud Dad. While I would not categorize myself as one who likes country music, I can great appreciate the level of intricacy in her craft. The lyrics are great. The music has a n almost "haunting" quality to it. On behalf of all people with GSD and as a fellow musician I say, "Maggie, keep up the good work!"
Had the privilege of hearing this song a little early and I was blown away - Maggie is a young Natalie Maines - but has lyrics and melodic ability - passion and experience shine through in this young voice !
Your Maggie is an amazing young lady !!!! Her voice is so captivating. My Amanda sings as well. She is more into the musicals and classicals. Our Amanda has Pompe disease which affects her breathing, so she struggles a bit with her singing, but she never gives up. To see and hear your Maggie give light to a disease that has been in the dark, is so thrilling. I cant wait to hear her CD when we get it. I cant wait to see what she does next !!!
Awesome Job Maggie, you make my heart cry Happy Tears, and fill my head with knowledge. Way to sing a song, and share your heart with the world. Rock On Maggie. Never hide your story, or the truth in side. Sing it out loud, and sing it proud. We've all got a song in hearts and you show us all how to stand up and let that song out. Thank You, for being you today, and sharing you talents with the world. Peace, and so looking forward to seeing and hearing the next one soon.
Awesome Song, Maggie!!!!!!!!!! Really love it!! All us Freaks can be Proud!! I have rare immune disease myself. Lots of artists are different, sameness is mediocrity!! You have a gift of music few have!!! Relish in it!! I'd come to your concerts anytime!
Thanks for using you talents and gifts to help others! And to make a difference in the world for a cause that does not get enough spotlight! Great song too! Love it!
I have GSD type 1a, everyday is demanding. What people dint know is that gsd can cause many other problems. For example, i have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, poor bone density and recently gout. I am now 30 years old and everyday is a battle. I really hope a cure will come soon for the young children that suffer from this unknown disease.
Wow Maggie, this song is so great. I'm sorry to hear about your brothers, but keep up the good work. I really wish we could have done a song together last time you came down!
