I had my gown made by the same lady who used to make my school uniforms. I sold it afterwards... It paid for the Cedar front door I found for our new home... From being carried over the threshold, to becoming part of it! (We paid for our own wedding)

It needn't cost a fortune. I'm sure there is a competent local dressmaker, who could do it, without the overheads of a bridal boutique. I sourced my own Thai silk, and embellishments. Good luck. 👋🇦🇺
