Yep. It was just my mom and my best friend with me when I chose my dress. And it was always about what I wanted to try and what I wanted to choose. Not "some of us want..." This or that.
It was just my Mom who went with me. I didn't want to invite a bunch of people and my husband's family because they are very opinionated.😂😂
My niece took her mom and best friend/MOH with MIL getting photo text updates. All she wanted and all she needed.
This mom is not what I was expecting, she's kind when she talks about the dresses on her daughter. She's so thoughtful, and I love it. She's so kind hearted and her hearts in the right place. I love mom's like this. She's honest but kind about it
She also kept an open mind. She had an idea of what she wanted (not too much skin) but was open to interpreting that in many ways.
The mum was a hoot. And she was right about the other dresses, even if she had an unusual way of describing what she didn’t like. A lovely family and a beautiful bride.

Her mother held back what she truly felt so her daughter could make the decision, not her. Then she did what every mother should and she embraced her daughter's choice.
That was the most caring, controlling Mother I have ever seen. Such a beautiful dynamic between the mother and daughter, and what a wonderful mother-in-law; so supportive without judging the mother. These three women are going to have a blast together when there are kids born into the family..

So many comments about her Mom, but I actually liked and appreciated her way of "sensing", of describing things as having an energy about them. I understand about the one dress she describes as being exhausting. She's also sweet and sensitive, I think and feel like she and her daughter have a beautiful bond. Maybe a little intense but means well.
I agree! We expect the bride to get a “feeling” when it’s the right dress. Mom was doing the same thing.
Mom is like a SNL skit and I mean that in the cutest of ways. She's adorable. This bride is so sweet and her mother-in-law is so supportive ❤
Mom was definitely not afraid of speaking her mind, but she was also right most of the time and never said it in a hurtful way which I think is so important

I actually loved the first dress. It was simple, the shape was incredible and the way the fabric was draped was special.

It was interesting to see the mother-daughter dynamic in this one. Mom is a little eccentric, but she means well; daughter wants a dress that makes her happy (naturally!) but is very respectful of her mother's feelings and intuition. And what a sweet future mother in law! Nice family.

I liked the mother and daughter bond. The mother noticed how the bride liked the dress and she changed her mind. Let´s be honest, the bride didn´t look really excited in the other dresses and I guess the mother noticed it.

lol this is an example of how autism is definitely a spectrum! I’m autistic & people like this drive me a little crazy (not because they’re not nice just the extra-ness). But you can see that she really loves her daughter ❤❤❤

I’m glad I gave the MOB a chance and kept watching, because she’s a supportive, unique, loving mum and I found myself agreeing with many things she said! 😂❤
I think we should be kind to the mother. We don’t know anything about her and she probably was suffering some kind of nervous tension. Her daughter is beautiful and her mother in law to be is very kind and supportive to both of the other women.

@@leoniephillips8781I was thinking that or ADHD. My sister in law has ADHD, and the way the mom described the one dress as being overwhelming and exhausting is exactly how my sister in law would describe patterns that are too busy and visually overstimulating.

I was so shocked to find out how funny and nice the mom was about the dresses she didn't like and how she asked how her daughter felt about the dress. We need to see more moms like this on this show.

Nice job Anne! She knew exactly when into chime in to support the last dress and win the mom over! And because she kept to herself and let mom’s words shine for most of the consultation, mom was all ears for her input. THIS is how women work together.

That bride is simply beautiful, such a unique beauty!!! I’ve never seen anyone even remotely look like her, she has such gorgeous features. I think it’s the almond eyes and dimples….and this comming from a straight woman.
