for anyone reading this: I went to Art Center for product design, and these are the classes that I paid tens of thousands of dollars for. This is an incredible resource.
All I have to say is that your channel is way too underrated. Your content is incredible. Best of luck. And if you ever make a full course from start to finish on how to design and print your toys, I will probably be the first to buy it. Blessings ✌️
Great video Oasim! I'm getting ready to use my airbrush for the first time so this insight into your overall process is extremely helpful. Thank you! -Leo
How high up do you go on the sanding grit? 1200? 1600? (Or higher to get glass like finish?) I have a smaller Neptune printer and do scale models as well, do you sand with higher grit sponge sanding even over smaller details like rivets, fine ridges, etc to eliminate the print layers? And if so what product number 3M sanding sponge you use?
With sanding paper (wet sanding) )I never go over 600, I'll use 1000 if I have a vizor or something that needs to be super shiny. As for 3M scratch pads I start with Fine Code 03809 then Super Fine Code 03810 and if I need shiny surface I'll go to Ultra FIne code 02601 and rarely I'll use Micro fine code 02600
