    What kind of glue do you use to glue your art toy pieces together?

      @karmieh  7 дней назад

      Thank you for the kind words. I use two parts epoxy glue and super glue for small pieces. www.bison.net/en-en/products/bison-epoxy-5-minutes-blister-24-ml-multi-lan

      @@karmieh Do you know if you are able to use it on fdm prints aswell, PLA specifically, and is it possible to change speeds? Thank you!

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  21 день назад +1

    What was that "bath" you put your 3D print in? And is it possible to make these types of toys without all these extra devices?

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  Месяц назад

      That is an ultrasonic and yes you can make everything without any of these extra devices, as a small studio these devices help me save some time with each step but when I started I used to clean each piece manually with a toothbrush. And I still do when I clean the parts after sanding.

    why do you sand again after priming it?

    • @emmamarx9284
      @emmamarx9284 4 месяца назад +2

      Helps reveal rough spots, easier to catch them with a light prime. I take a similar approach, his is way more professional tho, I’m definitely taking notes. 📝

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  4 месяца назад

      Thank you @emmamarx9284 Yes it is exactly that. But on top of that, it also acts as a filler, if you have seen my primer video ruclips.net/video/hfXSz8zFFUU/видео.htmlsi=p9havzTtD-1V7dMd So it's a double advantage, I hope it helps!

    "The print took about 50 hours" Does it usually take this long to 3d print?

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes! And this is a medium print length, it can go up to 100 hours, but it's done in stages, so each build plate would take 20 hours and sometimes a piece would be split into five separate build plates.
