Captain, what causes these stutters in taxi is the route that was inserted. If you insert only the SID and only insert the route already in flight, there are no stutters on the ground.
What do you think about this masterpiece? Absolute stunning photorealistic ultra high polygon visuals, superb ultrasharp textures, the absolute insanity of recreating a double-decker cabin with 1000 photorealistic high polygon seats (+ luxury cabins and seats on the upper class floor), a performance so superior I can run this photorealistic beast even while having no graphics card in my computer with very cool 15 FPS. And FlyByWire is the first team ever who tried to faithfully recreate a A380 cockpit MCDU operating system. So impressive! And FlyByWire team also means we will get: Ultrarealistic hydraulics simulation with fluctuating fluid depending if the gear hydraulic cylinder is out, or if turbulences is shaking the plane and therefore also the hydraulic fluid, perfect simulated electrical systems, a functional printer inside the cockpit - it will be just a matter of time until we get a PRINTER!! And it´s the second plane ever having OANS (the iFly max is the only other one).
iFly actually doesn't use the Navigraph OANS, but they build the map from the airports AFCAD file. LatinVFR however also has OANS in their aircraft. I love the A380. It's the best freeware for flight sim ever!
Nice video! How did you fix the random MSFS crashes? Seems that you’ve fixed it. I unfortunately still have the issue so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Manuel what scenery did you use? That Bangok looks nice. Is it in the premium airports? How do i get the callouts for the Runways? Using latest build dont have it. Do i need to activate it in the EFB? Also the Autobrake off call is not in my a380. Thx 4 teaching us the plane..greetings from Berlin!
I don‘t know… Sometimes I get weird stuttering all over the places and on other days it works just fine. Must be weather dependant or sth. route is always the same. EDDH/EDDM/LSZH.
@Emi - what did you do before you got on to rwy 08R when your frame gen started bugging out. I noticed it and it looked like you clicked somewhere and it fixed. Are you in window or full screen mode? I hate when Frame Gen messes up in msfs 2020 Love your vids!
Thanks I was getting some fairly regular CTD (Blue Screens of Death) from my CPU when i first built my system., I have a I9 14900K 24 core CPU I turned off the Hyper Threading and now i no longer get any kind of crashes. Might be worth looking at?
Hello Emanuel, 1) Why did you not set the frequency of MSW NDB behind RWY 08R for depature? 2) What happend to the elapsed time indicator on the Nav Display, when you were preparing the approach? The indication was gone. 3) Why did you set the altimeter for VTBS and set STD again? You can preselect the altimeter pressure just by rotating the knob. You would then read small numbers of your preselected pressure over the Std. Greetings.
While you down there - take a short stint with an a320 to Koh Samui (VTSM) - quiet an interesting airport for European standards :) not sure a correct scenery exists though
From real life cockpit videos of A380 I have the THS FOR is left blank on the TO perf page. I don’t know exactly why or what difference it makes. during checklist the pilots confirm the trim value on PFD matches. ofc the aircraft auto trims this anyway so it’s confirming the aircraft own setting. Maybe you can ask A380 pilots you know ?
@@A330Driverthe 2hour free video from just planes on YT a380 Eithad Abu Dhabi to Paris at 3:00 just shows the pilots checking the TO perf page and this option is boxed fields and they confirm it’s all correct and move on. Do they fill it out later I don’t know? They do confirm trim on PFD matches aircraft setting yes. It’s just starting to bug me now. Maybe you can call a favour off pilot friend who flies A380 and settle eaxactly what this does or do ? Maybe the auto trim of the A380 negates this field im just checking. In the sim who knows if matters there are much bigger issues 😁

It seems that they don't land with managed speed... is this also part of the Airbus SOP? don't think so....
@ good spot I missed that. Thx for info just it’s been bugging me only thing I can think of is that as you said is it gets completed as part of another flow but I carnt find anything showing pilots actually updating this field to know 😁
Thanks very much for this!! I was just wondering, which scenery is this for münchen as i was looking to purchase one. Ich hoffe, lhnen gefällt der A380! Bis zum nächsten Mal.
You have bad stutters on landing and when you change view because you seem to use the 8K version which is not recommanded for system with Frame Generation
The increased simrate mode actually worries me. even is they decatvate it the lockout can we ovrwritten in one of the simobject folders and if you try a 4x increase the ap becoms just physically unstable meaning the magnitude it which it vibrated dieverges in seconds .... somehow I think the fnix a320 has a similar issue (tho dosent matter as much on short haul). This is one of the greated strengths of pmdg their ap is stable even at 8x in the 737 often even at 16 x ... But they also had year to optimse the dampemning Nonthless all other at least manag 4x including th a330 neo ... Since they never bothered with it on the a320 fbw most likely also do nothing for 380
FBW A320 works fine for me on 4x. It is stable enough, but as you've said, it is just to shorten 2h flight, so maybe that is it is more stable. I haven't try A380 though to compare.
Ich nehme einfach random was :D
Depends. I really don’t see why they do one in first place and I’m not going to give them a hundred bucks for a plane I already have. If I can get a review copy I’ll surely look at it, but I won’t pay 100+ $ for it.
How do you get so constant frames? I got rougly 30-40 fps with the 4k version. Sometimes 70fps, but lord, if I would turn off frame generation this would be much worse... My Setup: - AMD Ryzen 5800X3D - Nvidia RTX 4070 Super - 64gb DDR4 Ram 3200mhz - Samsung Nvme 990 Pro I am using a few small mods, but mainly Gsx and nothing else (except for all the navigraph plugins), liveries and a few Scenerys. They're probably not available in public, but most people will have the chance to get hold of those numbers with sufficient resources and perhabs some shady sources.
1:15:19 can anyone pls explain why when the flaps is above 30 degrees it stays at 1? and i wonder if its a common practice on all aircraft types or it's just the airbus. Thanks!
From the Airbus operating manual "On ground, hot weather conditions may cause overheating to be detected around the bleed ducts in the wings, resulting in “AIR L (R) WING LEAK” warnings. Such warnings may be avoided during transit by keeping the slats in Configuration 1 when the OAT is above 30 °C." So that's the reason, only applies to Airbus as far as I know

Nice - thanks for the video. I personally find it quite hard to get all four throttle levers into the correct detent with the A380.
You can increase the detent sizes in the tablet.

Did MAN - DXB. Took just short of 7 hrs. Suspect there maybe a memory leak currently with it, as at one point the sim was using over 50Gb of RAM 🤔

Leaving boxed fields blank doesn't sound like anything conform with Airbus SOP. Do those perhabs have a company option which FBW did not simulate?

Airbus recommends leaving the flaps at conf1 if temperature outside is above 30 degrees Celsius
