For BTV - plan mode, zoom in, drag map with mouse to choose the landing runway first on the map (click on the runway marker which should be green for the planned runway), then you can select the vacating taxiway and you can choose BTV
Actually just click on the box with the runway number That the triangle is pointing to. The green triangle is just showing you what runway is selected for landing in the FMS. I say it this way because I've flown numerous landings in this bird with the landing runway loaded and no green triangle.....It even gave me the disagree message, but by selecting the runway BTV still worked perfectly on it.
18:09 The THS value is GWCG not the ZFWCG. On the tablet you can switch from ZFW to GW and then get the CG. Bottom of the PFD is the same value as GWCG and that can be used.
Thank you for publishing these insightful videos here, it's helped me learn a lot about SOPs in planes (Especially Airbuses). I've always wanted someone like you would feature Singapore Changi Airport like this too since it's my local airport
The FBW A380X does not have a fully developed engine model yet, we're using a modified LEAP-1A that's why some systems including the engine oil QTY simulation don't work iirc. As for the Electric hydraulic pumps, they are located on the aft part of the OVHD panel
As usual an awesome video! Thankyou for all your hard work, I really appreciate you’re videos and tutorials. Without them I would’ve had a very difficult time learning the A380X 😂
It’s a good start for an alpha for this aircraft. Looking forward to revisiting it in 6 months or so and seeing if the numerous issues have been fixed.
BTV you did it right but you need to click on the green arrow that is on the arrival runway first in the plan view you had before the taxiway. This selects the runway and shows rwy info top left. After that you select the taxiway where it will box the id on taxiway then you select left click.
At least the train between terminals is working. In real life it's been out of action for a while and buses used between satellite and terminal! Really enjoyed this as I've flown this route a number of times in real life with both Malaysian and Singapore Airlines. To top it off the scenery needs loads more AI aircraft.
At 11:16 on the a380 and a350 you can just press the accus reinflate next to the parking brake to recharge the pressure though im not sure if it works in this sim. In WMKK a380’s would usually occupy the C17,C27 and C37 bay
I have the same problem with chart pinning. Sometimes won't pin and often I have scroll the list up or down in order for it to actually pin. Not sure if it's a bug, but FBW can certainly improve that a bit. Overall, I'm absolutely loving the A380!
I know you're "in Singapore" so reading from right to left is OK! Hearing you say "25.3" while typing 35.2 !! But, as others have mentioned, apparently you need to enter GWCG here not ZFWCG. I love learning from you but can't resist teaching (retired!) as well. Mag-nifi-Sent !
Hey Emanuel, would you also like to have such a button on the A330 for the passengers (Instant) in the real plane? 😂BTW, I love the A380 also! I am currently flying into JFK and my departure was EGLL. A little over 7 hours flight I think. Alt was FL400.
Hi Emmanuel! I have a suggestion/idea: Could you do some videos where you would explain us some memory items etc. that a pilot would do in some typical emergencies? Stuff like: Engine fire Engine out Hydrolic pressure gone Etc. Maybe for B737 or Airbus? I would love to get into "non normal procedures" Thanks for considering!
According to FBW team engines are wrong - too powerful so the climbrate you see is not accurate at all even for lightweight A380. You can set yourself default cockpit view as you wish it is in the settings I have it on CTRL+F10 hotkey it is called like (I will update comment when I will play MSFS later today) also you can save custom view for yourself (total 10 custom views can be set. It is usually used for setting up gopro cam view and wing/engine views hotkey for that is ctrl+alt and number 0-9 on top row (over qwert).
You should switch to the 4K model instead of the 8K model cause I suspect you use frame generation and dx12 beta and FBW indicates that the 8K version is not ok with fg and Dx12 beta and it causes stutters that you can see from 34:33 to 34:53
11:45 i was about to say do not do the red flap. that's the disconnect and u need maintenance item to reset that. had to fly without eng 1 providing the green system due to that XD Also for BTW, after you have went into plan mode, the runway which u have programmed will have an green arrow. you have to select the runway first, then the exit
Tsk Emi. Who didn't read the FBW Documentation and therefore didn't know how to operate BTV? ;) And you can use your keyboard to enter numbers into the MCDU. Not the simulated one, the one in front of you. :p And I see you still open the GSX window by clicking the icon with the mouse instead of using a keyboard shortcut. Umberto has said often that using the mouse resets the menu logic and can cause issues. Only use the mouse once when you initially use GSX in your session. After that close and open it with the keyboard shortcut. You will have to use the mouse again once when you are at your arrival airport.
Dear Pilot Manuel thanks for all your tutorials..so, an question..when RAAS call Approach Rwy 20C , in primary display flashing in green color App 20C. I also installed RAAS, but not appearing in primary display when before line up ..thanks a lot..friendly Roberto
@A330 Driver: you’re encounter stutters at 34:50min. You’re clicking around and the stutters are gone around 34:56min. What is your action how you solve those stutters? I encounter them too, but do not know how to easily solve them. Thank you!
The THS value is GWCG not the ZFWCG. On the tablet you can switch from ZFW to GW and then get the CG. Bottom of the PFD is the same value as GWCG and that can be used.
Hello Emanuel, One interesting fact about the SIA A388 is that you hear 2500 and 2000 callout in the real aircraft. The former HIFLY A388 also had this configuration because their A388 was a former SIA aircraft.
I gave up on it. Despite cabin being off and using 4k I'm still getting bugged camera sometimes, how do you restart the GPU with a click? I'd love to do some Flying Honu flights and also I like that well developed FMC but the way this aircraft is designed, as well as some FBW features is just killing me the same way as flying the A320 does... Knowing also other developers products I see that PMDG has developed very smooth sim operation feeling that I can't find in most of the ariliners.
When some crew training is required. In the same way that Lufthansa had short flights between Frankfurt and Munich when training their crews for the Boeing 787-9.
@Emanuel 1) Does the FBW A388 have ATSAW? 2) Does it have Autopilot TCAS? I do remember that back in 2009, the A380 was the first Airbus type which got the ROPS and APTCAS.
For BTV - plan mode, zoom in, drag map with mouse to choose the landing runway first on the map (click on the runway marker which should be green for the planned runway), then you can select the vacating taxiway and you can choose BTV
BTV - You have to click on the desired runway (triangle) first then you can select your taxiway 👍 Caught me out at first
Yep, click on the green triangle at the runway threshold. 320 Sim Pilot has a great tutorial video on the BTV system.
He is brilliant! but I'm not sure why is he not figuring this one out!
@@ibraheemnabeelyup, it’s literally on their website

What a beautiful airplane ..
It has such a fine character .

39:00, you can save a new default viewpoint with CTRL+F10 and reset it back to default with SHIFT+F10.
Please please do more of these! I will be following and performing your flights when I get MSFS 2024!
It’s a good start for an alpha for this aircraft. Looking forward to revisiting it in 6 months or so and seeing if the numerous issues have been fixed.
I really learn something new with every video you send. 😊 Didn‘t know there is a pitch limit for the cabin crew. But yeah, makes sense.
Great Pilot Manuel..So , the next video, can you to show us RNP/RNAV procedures?
thanks
your student🙂

The more aircraft youl have the less performance and more statters you have. He already have top pc and still run into some issues with performance.
Great flight, very informative as always.

Electric hydraulic pump switches on the A380 are much higher on the overhead (near the FADEC ground power switches).

According to flybywire documentation, the fold out keyboard only works as input on the OIT in real life and OIT is not yet implemented.

Regarding fuel usage. I read M20 is recommended to select in SimBrief.
Do more of this videos with a380 maybe Qantas airlines.
I thought u had your A380 type certificate now the plane is released
Butter. Can you please tell us which scenery you used? What traffic was that? VATSIM? FSLTL?
Hey, when is your Book comming on the 777?

18:09 for THS value - do you input the tablet CG value? Or the one shown on the bottom PFD? (they’re slightly different)
The THS value is GWCG not the ZFWCG. On the tablet you can switch from ZFW to GW and then get the CG. Bottom of the PFD is the same value as GWCG and that can be used.

Hi! I have a question, is the DLR test really that hard and with only one opportunity?
This plane is majestic. Just like your tutorials Driver. :)
I've been begging for a 4k sia livery for a week

What do you mean with bugged camera? The Framegeneration jitters?
Select Green Triangel for BTV
Is Singapore Airlines really using the A380 on such a short route? Does it even make sense economically?
When some crew training is required. In the same way that Lufthansa had short flights between Frankfurt and Munich when training their crews for the Boeing 787-9.
Wait, so the 380 only has two hyd systems?
does anyone know how we could find other flights that have been used as line training for the a380 such as this one ?
What scenery do you use btw?
The A380 always oscilates on final, do you have the same issue?
which scenary of singapore changi airport are you using Sir?
My TO config doesnt go to green despite me pressing the button multiple times
Em are you using Atmos?
Hi emanuel ,how do you search for these realistic short former routes?
Google :D
Are you using some loseless scaling?
how you got Terrain map
is that fsltl traffic?
Pretty sure he uses FSTraffic
