There is a great danger I think in being overwhelmed by the massive choices available, and a huge temptation to copy because that's what everyone else does, yet try to achieve individualism at the same time. There is clarity to your teaching. My goal always, either in Premiere Pro or After Effects is to tell the story with soul, passion, intigue, make it compelling and told with enthusiasm. Dunno where that came from, I guess I feel inspired!

This is great! I've been looking for this for a while. But is there a way to remove the big circles of the flares? I have a longer word and it get's a bit distracting. I've changed the LENS TYPE to 35mm but it's still a bit distracting. Thank you! You are one of the best!
Idk if you figured something out but I added another layer changed it to overlay and changed the opacity until I liked the look of it. It helps a lot. It may change your text colors but that was an easy fix.
Great tutorial thank you! Having an isuue with my lense flare not lining up with the stroke path. I think it might be because i scaled up my mask layer but I tried scaling my lense flare layer by the same amount and nothing lines up still. Anything i should try? Thank you

@@SmertimbaGraphics I deleted the text layer after traceing it and using only the traced layer, no text underneath, the effect works on the masks as it should but the lense flare layers for some reason create this half opaque artifact outside the masks

You can select the ai vector file, then auto trace it by going up to layer, auto trace, then proceed with the rest of the steps once you have masks to work with

Layers should be the same scale to begin with, that might be the issue

Try adding an adjustment layer above everything, then add transform effect to it and change the skew that way. It should affect all layers that way

If you change the text then you need to redo the process for new letters, it won't automatically adjust

You can't remove the background here, but you can add a new solid layer as a background by placing it at the bottom and give it any color you want

You can place anything as the background under those layers, as long as the modes are set to screen

It is hard to explain, but you can create stuff like that with particular plugin
I have made the animation but i wanted to ask if i can change the colour of the text now that it is gone in the animation... i can't seem to edit it
You can add fill effect to the text layer and change the color that way

Then you would need to start over, because the outline layer is not a text layer anymore and you can't change it

You can select the ai vector file, then auto trace it by going up to layer, auto trace, then proceed with the rest of the steps once you have masks to work with

copy the path and paste it only 3s

You can either add a loopout expression to the flare center values or just copy paste the keyframes so the new keyframes start when the last ones end
