Hey Josh, When I create the mask of the text the anchor point for each individual letter is in a different place than where it is on your example. when I try to change the anchor point for the letter it tries to adjust the a.p. for the layer instead. any insight? Could you do one where yu edit a logo from eps or vector format? Every time I paste all the paths from my outlined layers into a mask layer the outline then only goes rectangle around the border of the group of masks on the individual masks. For the life of me I cant work around it.

Josh, I'm curious how you can adjust the starting point of the trace. I understand how to adjust the trim path of a layer, but my Auto-Trace starts in the same spot every time. (Or will I have to manually edit the keyframes for each object?)
HI, JN - is there anyway we can get the inner part of letters (as in the R and O in your example) to fill in? The effect kind of works with stylised text such as this, however when I use a different font with lower case text it looks a bit weird. Some really useful things here especially the flare effect and how to attach to the text motion path. Cracked it, JN - hadn't realised that inner strokes are kept in the Stroke effect as a repeat of the letter - so an 'a' is shown twice in the drop down, the 2nd 'a' being the inner stroke. Great stuff - having fantastic fun with this one! KP
Great tutorial but there is something I don't understand at all. That is duplicating effects. For example you duplicated the drop shadow and on the second copy you changed the softness to 80. Why couldn't you have just used that setting on the first copy and not have to dup. it? Similarly, with the glow effect you dup. this three times and ended up just resetting everything. I must be missing something. Please help. I've had this question for several months now but can't find an answer. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
Actually the thing is, when you duplicate the drop shadow, the softness increases same goes for glow. Imagine it like this, if you pour sugar into a cup about 3 spoons, if you add one more, the sweetness will increase. But using excess sugar can cause taste odd.
Actually its like, suppose u r driving a car, u bought it and driving it. That car was built and sold to u so that u can use it, to do what ever law abiding work u wanna do. The road is AE, u r u, Car is plug-in.
Obviously, you are doing great, but your pronunciation is very bad to understand for newbie Indian viewers. And auto-generated CC is also getting confused in some pronunciation.
Hi brother i have a logo that has got to many layers looks very coplex but whenever i try to AUTO TRACE 1st problem it separates the tracing layer from the original layer 2nd setting starting time and ending time on the tracing layer dont mark those point on the time line if you have an email or anywhere i can send you a sample and help me out would be okay also

why did you use the stroke effect instead of the trim path?
Doesn't it easier and sort of keep the same effect?

when you put in wiggle(2,5) in the glow part at 7:52 , what do the 2 & 5 represent? like is it (y , x)
so what if im following along but when I set the end from 0-100 it don't move the stroke? the mask just stays fully in place?
