  • In this video I test the XP Deus 2 9" coil against the Minelab Manticore 9" coil to see which one is more sensitive to small gold nuggets.

Nice test. Never mind the negative posts. Do you plan on going to the Moon Lake Gathering?

Negative comments come with the territory. Some people are apparently just miserable and have to make others feel the same way. I doubt I'll make it to Moon Lake

Awesome video ! Can you please recommend a pin pointer . I just got a manticore and my current pulse dive pulse induction pin pointer goes crazy close to the machine. Thanks

I use the Garrett carrot and it gets along just fine with the Manticore.

Was the manta in multi or in single frequency ?

Multi. Sorry should have mentioned that. Both were in multi.

Would’ve been interesting seeing the recovery and sensitivity increased on both machines, great comparison thanks

I set the machines up the way I hunt for gold nuggets. In the ground I hunt, I rarely chanhe those settings because of the issues with hot rocks and ground mineralization. Over driving the sensitivity or lowering the recovery speed usually results in a noisy machine that makes it hard to hear small faint targets.

Surprised you had the sensitivity at just 19 on the Manticore...?? Deus II was at 95...

The higher you go with sensitivity on the Manticore, the worse it performs in high mineral dirt. Watch some of my early videos and you see why.

@@martinsmith2984 same old negative comments from you as usual. Good hearing from you anyway. Have a nice day!

He dose not know what he is doing thats why he has the sensitivity at 19, I have a manticore and run it at 30 and above all the time on mineralised sites no problem at all. If I set it at 30 and get a good deep quiet signal then reduce it to 19 I get no signal at all..

The higher the frequency the better for small gold you should know that, but there seems to be a lot you have no clue about, you say you have been detecting 40yrs yet you have learned nothing... 🙄
