We all wished for a better movie, but what made it so insufferable for yours truly especially?

And people said Lion King 2019 was soulless.
Also yes please make a part 2
Please do part 2! Also, I love that only 2 2 days for Magnifico’s entire system to crumble after 1
Person questioned him.
Dude brother bear was incredible why was it in that intro
Just a universal example of a weak WDAS film. I don’t think it's terrible, just mediocre.
I also despise the "pLoT tWiSt" of Magnifico keeping the Wish's stored away, which A, was established in the _first fucking song,_ and B, Asha already knew. So her realizing this again creates a continuity error, because Disney sacrificed good storytelling for the sake of drama.
This video just made me realise something else that doesn't make sense at all: so Saba gave up his wish when he was 18, which means the system has been well established 82 years prior to the event of the film. Assuming Magnifico would need more than 18 years of his life to eventually become a king and establish a kingdom, does this make him like 130+ yo or smth? How old is Amaya then? Sure maybe Magnifico's magic keeps him young, but does that mean 20-30 smth Amaya married an 80 yo guy?!
Ooh look, Saba played Wish Upon a Star!😱
This movie blows.😑
I think it could be an option, but since the grandfather is older than the king and people give their wishes at 18 or when they arrive in Rosas, it is most likely that he gave it to him when he was already old.
And apparently the kingdom is not more than 3 decades old, so...
@@arianamontes-no5rj For three decades, they fell for this garbage system?
@@CMWaters910 well, I don't know bro, I'm just estimating :d
@@arianamontes-no5rj yeah, I'm pretty sure, by the way Saba is dressed, the movie is implying that he's an immigrant. The pins holding his cape has one with the insignia of Rosas and one with a completely different design. He gave up his wish after he had already lived his life without fulfilling it on his own. He probably thought "Eh, I'm already settled. I'll just toss in $5 to see if I win."
Chicken little and brother bear were great
Glad you enjoyed them
To me, succesfull disneymovie usually has a clear 'theme' you know, when the succes is being turned into a franchise. And with wish, it doesnt have any paticular flavor that could represent the movie on itself,. It lacks a theme, its generic and therefore bland and easily forgotten
I'm jealous that you found this disastrous trainwreck forgettable.
I didn't watch this movie after watching some of the songs. Writing a catchy song that rhymes is hard, but I wish that I had never watched this movie's songs. Some lyrics rhyme words with the same word, use words that I rarely hear in conversations (Honestly, I never heard of the word, excitatory, until this movie's song), and flat-out lyrics that a kindergartner could've written better ('I'm a star. Watch out world, here I are.' WTF?!)
Releasing the songs one at a time the way they did wouldn’t have been a bad marketing strategy for a film with good (or at least not terrible) songs.
@@CMWaters910 I have nothing against releasing songs before a movie's theatrical debut. I'm against this movie's songs, because the lyrics are awful and come off as writing them for the sake of 'It rhymes'. Although many can argue that they're inspirational, which is fine, I can name many other songs (Even from the direct-to-video Disney sequels) more inspirational and catchy than these. If Disney ever claims that goat's wish is why Zootopia exists, I will never accept that as canon (That's how much I hate this movie even though I never saw it).
I WILL NEVER FORGIVE DISNEY FOR NOT GIVING US A GOOD VERSION OF "WISH"! They skipping the BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY between Asha and the Starboy, and the villain couple broke my heart! DAMN IT! DISNEY WHY?! 😭💔💢
It's very insensitive to claim that this movie feels like it was written using AI, because Hollywood just had a writer's strike!!
And it shows why it happened
I still think the worst Disney movie is "Song of the South" it's the movie Zippidie doodah came from and the theming of splash mountain.
I didn't hate Song of the South, but also, it wasn't WDAS.
Because that’s how you were raised to believe
